On the way back to the stealth plane, Hawking passed by a room filled with various advanced machines. He recalled something and pointed to the pool in the middle with pretended curiosity.
Wolverine explained with a complicated look:
“That’s where I was experimented on. The bubbling silver liquid next to it is Adamantium.
“Stryker said that it had to be kept hot, because it would be indestructible after it cools down.”
He glared at Stryker, who was restrained by Colossus.
Stryker touched the wound in his right hand, courtesy of Wolverine, and sneered:
“You should be thanking me. Without me, you would still be using those broken bones as weapons.”
“Then let me use them to thank you!”
Wolverine’s claws emerged and he tried to stab Stryker a few more times.
But Professor X stopped him.
“Stop it, Logan. We need him alive to prove that he did the assassination attempt on the president, so we could stop the war.”
Stryker had controlled Nightcrawler to assassinate the president in an attempt to provoke a war between humans and mutants. In a few days, the president will disclose the threat of mutants on the news and issue an order for war against mutants.
They had to come up with evidence that Stryker started all this, in order to solve this crisis.
While Wolverine and Professor X were distracted, Hawking approached the pool.
He looked around and found a suitable hollow tube nearby, picked up the Adamantium alloy injectors and poured the alloy into the tube.
He then waited until the liquid cooled down. The tube shattered, leaving a thick and hard staff made of Adamantium alloy.
The Ruyi Jingu Bang was part of his Goku template. With the template unloaded, he had no weapons.
Although Saiyans like to fight with bare hands, he wasn’t quite at that level yet. He felt stronger with weapons.
Future Trunk even used swords to combat the androids.

Why is SHIELD here?
