One Piece Admiral Silver Fox Chapter 18

The Terrifying Power of the Red Count (Part 1)

At the critical moment, Foxy dove to the side. In the next second, the sturdy navy ship split in half, and some marines turned into a bloody mist without even being able to resist the force.

The sea, more turbulent than expected due to the storm, quickly submerged the ship’s heavy, weapon-laden stern, sinking it swiftly under the pounding waves.

With a pale face, Foxy sat drenched on the deck. If the ship sank, he would go down with it.

Cursing his luck internally, Foxy forced himself to stay calm. Seeing the struggling marines in the sea, he hurriedly looked for ropes and life rings to assist them.

“Grab the life rings and ropes, I’ll pull you up.”

“Quick… help us.”

Yuska, Natayubis, Ya Fei, and a few survivors began to act, helping Foxy rescue their comrades who had fallen into the sea.

“Foxy, thank you.”

A marine Foxy had pulled up and still had a lingering look of fear in his eyes.

“Help the others first.”

Foxy, sweating profusely, gritted his teeth and pulled on the ropes.

“Alright.”

Seeing Foxy’s effort, the surrounding marines also mustered their strength to assist in the rescue.

Over a month of training may not have strengthened Foxy, but the results have now shown that Despite being a teenager, he had the strength of an adult man.

After several minutes, Foxy sat on the ground, panting heavily, his arms sore and body weak.

All the marines now stood at the ship’s bow, all soaking wet, with some injured.

Many familiar faces were missing…

“Foxy, thank you for saving my life.”

“Foxy, though you’re still a kid now, I believe you’ll become a real man in the future.”

“Thanks.”

Survivors looked at Foxy with admiration. This respect wasn’t about strength or rank but his actions and deeds.

“Foxy, you did a great job.”

Yuska, with his wet, explosive hairdo and missing sunglasses, patted Foxy on the shoulder, nearly making him spit blood.

Yuska was burly and over three meters tall, with arms thicker than Foxy’s thighs. One can imagine how Foxy felt from that pat.

“B-Brigadier General…”

Foxy’s face turned red as he internally cursed Yuska.

“Ha ha… you’ll make a great marine someday.”

Yuska withdrew his hand, not feeling embarrassed at all.

Some marines around them laughed kindly.

At that moment, another navy ship pulled alongside them, aiding the rescue. Leading it was a vice admiral, though Foxy didn’t recognize him.

Perhaps he didn’t survive 20 years later, Oda didn’t draw him, or maybe he was just a background character.

“Brigadier Generals Yuska, Natayubis, and Ya Fei, your ship is damaged. Come over here!”

A gangway extended from the ship, and Vice Admiral Dobit called out.

“Vice Admiral Dobit.”

“Yes, sir.”

The three saluted him.

Dobit was a burly man with a beard, wearing a justice coat and a sword at his waist, his face rugged yet smiling warmly.

Following the group onto the vice admiral’s ship, Foxy saw Ya Fei and the others discussing something with him. Foxy quickly removed his binoculars and ran to the railing to look at Shaitan Island.

Luckily, he hadn’t dropped or damaged them in the earlier rush.

However, in the few minutes of delay, the battle on Shaitan Island had completely changed.

Crane was fighting the Red Count, and there was no sign of Kong. Could he have been defeated?

Switching focus to Shaitan Island, Crane was using Life Return, her body emitting heat vapor and overpowering the Red Count.

“Cough…”

Spewing blood, the Red Count took a direct hit from Crane, crashing into a hillside with rocks tumbling down.

Crane pursued, kicking out a dazzling arc.

The sound of metal clashing, the Red Count blocked with his black umbrella, though the Armament Haki on it was noticeably dull.

Even the Red Count was worn out after so many days of fighting Kong.

Facing Crane at her peak, it was impressive he could still hold on.

Sidestepping, the Red Count wiped the blood from his mouth, eyeing Crane, who had landed on the ground. A flash of malice crossed his blood-red eyes.

“Baron, you won’t escape today.”

Heroic and valiant, Crane radiated heat vapor.

“Ha ha… just you?” Smirking wickedly, the Red Count’s expression turned cold. “Move aside. I don’t want to kill a woman, but that doesn’t mean I won’t.”

“You look down on women?”

Crane clenched her fists, her face turning icy, the heat vapor rising even more.

Crane, proud and having reached this level with a female body, believed she was not inferior to any man. She despised arrogant men like the Red Count.

She might have let it slide without those words, but now Crane was furious.

In 20 years, she might have laughed it off, but now…

The ground dented as Crane vanished. She reappeared before the Red Count, her hands exuding a fragrant and moist scent, aiming for his neck and heart.

Aware of Crane’s abilities, the Red Count spun his black umbrella while his left hand, wrapped in purplish-red Armament Haki, clashed with her.

The ground kept collapsing, with Crane leaving footprints as she retreated, while the Red Count also stepped back, blood trickling from his mouth.

“Your injuries seem worse than I thought.”

Relentlessly pressing the advantage, Crane advanced. Her long, sleek leg, covered in black and white Armament Haki, slashed through the air.

Eyes narrowing, the Red Count raised his umbrella to block, the ground underfoot shifting, and he kicked out, forcing Crane back to gain distance.

Panting heavily, the Red Count’s eyes gleamed with murderous intent.

“If you want to die, I’ll oblige.”

Crane remained vigilant, not daring to be careless.

In a flash, the Red Count appeared before Crane, his umbrella tip exuding a sharp aura, stabbing towards her heart.

Crane covered her hands with Armament Haki, blocking the attack.

Spinning, the ground crumbled, and the Red Count kicked out with immense force.

The powerful blow sent Crane flying, her face turning pale.

Following swiftly, a slashing attack whistled like a reaper’s scythe. Crane managed to control her body, blocking the slash with her hands but leaving two deep cuts.

Crashing into a hillside, causing rocks to tumble, dust covered the area.

Crane’s face turned pale as she coughed up blood, her hands trembling.

But before she could catch her breath, a deadly threat loomed.

As the dust cleared, the Red Count’s face was inches away, and Crane’s hair stood on end.

The black umbrella, like a venomous snake, struck Crane’s heart without mercy.

Grabbing the umbrella tip tightly, Crane felt a stabbing pain in her chest, her face turning white.

Biting her lip, Crane kicked out to repel the Red Count, but he anticipated it, meeting her kick with his own, and the umbrella continued to pierce her heart.

When the Red Count turned ruthless, he was still terrifying…
