Rokujin closely followed behind Instructor Peter and saw a fat pirate with a black bandana wielding a mace coming at him. “Kid, take this!” With a sidestep, Rokujin dodged the pirate’s attack. Drawing his spirit blade, Reikaze slashed at the pirate’s arm holding the weapon. The sharp blade sliced through the pirate’s arm without resistance, cutting it off along with the bone. “Pfft!” Blood spurted out immediately!
The pirate clutched his arm, fell to the ground, and screamed in pain, “Ah! It hurts! My hand!” The sight of bright red blood greatly impacted Rokujin; he froze in place. As someone from Blue Star, he was not accustomed to such scenes!
Suddenly, Seiza’s voice came from behind, “Rokujin! What are you spacing out for? Kill him!!”
“Uh?” Hearing this, Rokujin snapped back to reality and swung his sword again at the pirate. “Ah! Kid, you’re going to die!” The pirate wasn’t just sitting around; taking advantage of Rokujin’s momentary lapse, he tried to counterattack. Swinging his mace in a sweeping motion, Rokujin was lucky to react in time, blocking the mace with his sword and slashing at the pirate’s neck in one fluid motion.
The cold blade flashed across the pirate’s neck! Blood gushed out! The head separated from the body! The pirate died instantly!
At that moment, Seiza came over and patted Rokujin on the shoulder reassuringly, “Be careful, you’ll get used to it. We all went through this.”
“Uh-huh!” Rokujin nodded. His eyes hardened, no longer hesitating, and he moved on to other pirates. This was no longer his original world; it was a world where the strong preyed on the weak. It was kill or be killed! Only by becoming strong could he protect himself!
In the battle, Rokujin moved incredibly fast, darting between Marines and pirates, his form barely graspable. Especially his sword speed, ordinary people could only see the flash of the cold blade! A flash of the blade, and another pirate fell!
Soon, Peter noticed Rokujin’s actions and chuckled, “This kid, he’s adapted so quickly? Worthy of being Admiral Garp’s grandson!” As the instructor, he hardly participated in the fighting, leaving the opportunities to the trainees. He only intervened when a trainee couldn’t hold on.
A few minutes later, Rokujin had unknowingly reached the center of the battlefield. The pirates around him, seeing him kill like butchering dogs, were too scared to confront him. Looking around, he noticed all were ordinary crew members with strengths at the F and E levels. He didn’t see his mission target, the Black Cat Pirate Captain Kuro. Could they be hiding on a Navy ship? According to the storyline, the Navy thought Captain Kuro was dead, but he wasn’t. There must be a hidden story!
After pondering momentarily, Rokujin no longer hesitated and strode to the ship’s edge, stepping off. His body soared and landed steadily on a nearby Navy warship. The whole boat was littered with Navy corpses, a sea of blood, and not a single survivor. The bodies bore three parallel claw marks each. It was very likely Kuro’s doing.
Rokujin cautiously moved toward the cabin, always alert to his surroundings. If no one was outside, Kuro and his crew must still be inside!
Soon, he came across a lying Navy officer wearing a Navy cape, his physique robust and familiar. Rokujin quickly approached, looked down, and exclaimed in surprise, “Monka!” Even though the man’s jaw was shattered, he could still recognize him. At that moment, he realized the reason for Monka’s iron jaw was Kuro’s doing.
Suddenly, a chill ran down his spine. Rokujin tensed up, feeling cold on his back, and instinctively dodged to the side, using the newly learned Soru. “Bang!” His right foot stomped the ground repeatedly, reaching top speed, and flashed forward. Rokujin was five meters away in a moment, quickly turning to face the man in front.
“Kuro!” The man wore a black jacket, his hands equipped with ten-bladed cat claws, and he wore black-rimmed glasses. Without a closer look, it was the Black Cat Pirate Captain, Kuro!

“A Navy training camp recruit? You dodged my attack!” Kuro adjusted his glasses with the palm of his hand, intrigued. He hadn’t
Kuro’s other crew members had already abandoned the sinking ship. As for Rokujin, he naturally needed to defeat Kuro alone to complete his mission. “Heh, it seems I’ve encountered an arrogant Marine; you’ve also become part of my plan!” Kuro sneered, his ten-bladed cat claws crossed. Instantly, he disappeared from the spot, vanishing from Rokujin’s line of sight!
[Ding, skill detected ‘Silent Steps,’ do you want to learn?]
“Hmm?” Rokujin frowned, remaining vigilant all around. The opponent had used Silent Steps, a silent assassination technique that allowed movement at cat-like speeds without making any sound. Very tricky! An ordinary Marine was no match for Kuro!
Suddenly, a threatening presence came from the left. Rokujin’s eyes sharpened, and he reached out with his left hand, “Armament Haki!” A black Haki instantly covered his arm, shining with a metallic luster. “Ding!” A crisp sound! Kuro’s ten-bladed cat claws struck Rokujin’s arm, but they didn’t harm him, causing Kuro’s expression to change slightly: “What is this? Haki?” Although he didn’t possess it, he had heard of Haki. It was a power used only by one in ten thousand; how could it appear on a simple Marine soldier? Could he have some robust backing?
“Heh!” Suddenly, Rokujin chuckled. Seizing the moment Kuro was caught off guard, he drew his spirit blade, Reikaze, and slashed at Kuro. “One-Sword Style: Draw and Slash!” The blade flashed! It swept across Kuro’s body!
