One Piece Space Fruit Chapter 17

The End

“Those who betray justice only face death!”

Not far away, Sakazuki retracted his magma-covered arm slowly.

Jaguar D. Saul’s massive body staggered backward, a fatal wound through his chest, burned by magma that had seared through his organs. He coughed up blood before collapsing, his mountainous form shaking the ground.

It wasn’t that Saul was weak; as a distinguished member of the giant race and one of the five vice admirals chosen for the Buster Call, his strength was at least on par with a regular vice admiral. But against Sakazuki, the gap was too vast.

If not for Evan’s ability to teleport, he would’ve perished long ago.

Sakazuki’s cold eyes fixed on a spot where a bloodied Evan stood, his face determined despite his numerous injuries.

“Where are Olvia and the girl?” Sakazuki demanded.

Evan didn’t answer, his gaze icy and unwavering.

“Sakazuki! You dared to attack the most important person to me. Do you realize I almost lost her?”

“So what? In the face of justice, it’s best if the world’s traitors die!” Sakazuki retorted without hesitation.

“Yes! I don’t blame anyone else. I only regret that my strength is insufficient to protect those I care about.”

Evan laughed maniacally, his voice echoing through the fiery ruins around him.

Then he stopped, his voice hoarse, “If I survive this…”

“I will no longer let the sky block my view! This world will no longer hinder my will! I will make all the strong bow before me!”

“And as for you—regardless of power or position—for today’s events, I will take your head!”

Evan’s eyes shone with determination, his battered body exuding an aura of unparalleled confidence.

Sakazuki’s usually calm demeanor wavered as he felt a surge of fear. This young boy exuded the aura of a peerless warrior.

His low, hoarse words rang like thunder, filling Sakazuki with a strange sense of dread.

“This child… must not be left alive!”

Sakazuki’s eyes flashed with icy determination. At eleven years old, this boy possessed a mysterious and powerful Devil Fruit ability and a strong will.

He was like the child of a demon!

“You will not live! Don’t even think about it! I will kill you here!” Sakazuki’s killing intent surged.

His left hand turned into blazing magma, and he shot forward with Soru.

“Come on…”

Evan watched the approaching magma fist without attempting to dodge it. With his remaining strength, teleportation was an impossibility.

“You demon, die with this island!”

Sakazuki’s magma fist pierced Evan’s body, erupting from his back.

Evan felt the searing magma inside him, coughing up blood and pieces of his organs. He staggered but grabbed Sakazuki’s sleeve to steady himself.

Perhaps he really would die here.

But…

A hidden smile played on Evan’s lips.

“Sakazuki… come with me… and leave this world…”

Sakazuki’s expression changed, trying to retreat but finding himself immobilized.

A pre-formed spherical space began to materialize, enveloping Sakazuki and trapping him.

“What is this?” Sakazuki frowned, feeling an oppressive force constraining him.

“Just waiting for you to take the bait… Let me show you my strongest ability!” Evan coughed up blood, his hands pressed against the sphere.

Channeling every ounce of his life force, he activated his spatial abilities, recklessly pushing his limits to power the sphere with dark energy.

Sakazuki’s face grew serious. He transformed into magma, trying to melt the black sphere.

“Too late…”

Evan smiled, the sphere reaching its final, inky black stage.

“Turn to dust—ROOM: Spatial Obliteration!”

With a gentle push, the black sphere collided with the void, shrinking rapidly before exploding.

There was no sound, no light, just the quiet obliteration of everything.

Sunlight, rocks, soil, flames…

Everything was consumed by the swirling black hole, dark spatial currents tearing through the void.

An apocalyptic scene.

Finally, everything fell silent, disappearing into nothingness.

“What… was that?”

Kuzan frowned at the distant black void. As everything calmed, he rushed to the scene.

Approaching, he saw a vast crater where the ground had vanished, leaving no trace.

Kuzan’s eyes scanned the area, finding a body at the crater’s edge, covered in blood and wounds yet still breathing faintly.

He recognized the boy who had escaped him before.

Suddenly, magma surged from the crater, and Sakazuki emerged, his clothes tattered, his body covered in wounds.

“Kuzan, who did this to you? Is there another strong enemy?” Kuzan asked in shock.

“What do you think?” Sakazuki retorted coldly, his eyes lingering on Evan before he walked back to the ship.

“Could it be… this boy?” Kuzan looked at Evan in disbelief.

After a moment of thought, he picked up Evan and headed back to the ship.

The bombardment continued, destroying everything on the island. The Tree of Knowledge burned, its flames nearly reaching the sky.

Under the Buster Call, nothing could survive.

Boom!

A cannon blast from the marines ships destroyed an evacuation boat, sending countless civilians to their deaths.

“Who fired at the evacuation boat?” Kuzan asked.

“It was Vice Admiral Sakazuki’s ship,” a marine replied.

Did it have to be so ruthless?

Kuzan sighed, looking at the unconscious Evan.

Three days later.

Marineford.

This island was centrally located in the Grand Line, near the Sabaody Archipelago, the Red Line, and the Holy Land of Mariejois.

This was the Marine Headquarters, a world government organization that upheld absolute justice and maintained order across the seas, symbolizing peace in the “Great Age of Pirates.”

In the Marine Headquarters office.

“So, that’s the situation… The threat of Ohara Island has been completely eliminated.”

Kuzan sat in a chair, facing Sengoku, who was deep in thought.

“Everything went as expected on Ohara, but that boy, Evan…” Sengoku hesitated, finding it hard to believe. “Are you sure he killed two CP9 members, escaped from you, and injured Sakazuki?”

“We’re not sure if he killed the CP9 members, but he did escape from me and wounded Sakazuki,” Kuzan replied.

“Hahaha…”

Sitting beside Sengoku, Garp laughed heartily, tears nearly coming to his eyes.

Sengoku slammed the table in frustration, “Garp! What are you laughing at?!”

“Hahaha.” Garp stifled his laughter, “Sengoku, weren’t you still playing in the mud at that age?”

He burst into laughter again.

Sengoku could only ignore him, asking, “How is Sakazuki?”

“Three broken ribs, countless external injuries, quite serious. He’s recovering,” Kuzan said.

Hearing this, Sengoku fell silent, and Garp stopped laughing.

They had assumed Sakazuki was only slightly injured, not realizing he was severely wounded.

Sengoku pondered for a moment, “What about the boy?”

“Still unconscious. His right side was pierced by Sakazuki’s fist. He avoided vital organs, so he’s not in danger, but he’s severely weakened. What should we do with him?”

Sengoku considered, his glasses reflecting the light, “Take him to Impel Down, the fifth level…”

“No, the sixth level.”

He changed his mind suddenly.

“Just a boy, and you want to put him in level six?” Garp asked, puzzled.

“Because he’s just a boy, we must,” Sengoku said gravely.

Garp realized Sengoku’s apprehension.

At eleven, able to severely wound Sakazuki, this boy was an extraordinary talent!
