“Not much stronger!” Rokujin waved his hand dismissively. Suddenly, a voice interrupted their conversation.
“Instructor! I’d like to spar with Rokujin to see how much he has improved!” Barton stood up and said sternly. He had been training hard for months, mastering all the Marine Six Styles and physical techniques to defeat Rokujin. Now was his chance!
“If he defeats me, he won’t have to be my sparring partner anymore!” That dreadful, torturous life was something he no longer wanted to endure. As his challenge was issued, everyone was shocked.
“Barton is rechallenging Rokujin? He must be confident!”
“His strength has greatly improved, and he’s mastered the basic Marine Six Styles!”
He could defeat Rokujin!

Quickly, the people present entered the training field for Rokujin and Barton. Both stood on opposite sides, sizing each other up. “Rokujin! If I win this time, I won’t be your sparring partner anymore. How about that?” Barton spoke first. “Sure, try beating me first!” Rokujin responded with a smile.
“Alright, take this!” As soon as he finished speaking, Barton kicked off the ground, using the Shave technique to appear in front of Rokujin quickly. Clenching his fist, he threw a heavy punch. Thanks to his observation, Haki and Rokujin had already sensed the attack’s trajectory but chose not to dodge it. Instead, he crossed his arms to block Barton’s strike.
“Armament Haki, activate!” Instantly, his arms were covered in black Armament Haki, successfully blocking Barton’s punch. Rokujin slid back on the ground with a dull thud, leaving two trails behind him. After several steps, he stabilised and smiled at Barton, “You’ve gotten much stronger!”
“Hmph! That’s not even all of my strength!” Barton replied, a smirk curling at the corner of his mouth, pride flickering across his face. But before he could finish speaking, he suddenly noticed Rokujin’s arms, black and shimmering with a metallic lustre, and exclaimed in surprise, “Haki! Armament Haki! You can use Haki too!”
Haki is complicated to master, and only a few in the entire training camp can use it! It’s also considered a talent. No matter how much they train, some people may never be able to use Haki. “Yes, indeed, it is Haki,” Rokujin replied calmly.
