Curls gently stroked his sister’s blonde hair, the coldness and killing intent from earlier completely gone, replaced by a warm and kind demeanor.

Verisia’s eyes lit up instantly at the mention of the Baratie.
“Really?”
Curls confirmed.
“Of course, as soon as you wake up tomorrow, we’ll go!”
Verisia immediately closed her eyes, her fair face full of sleepiness.
“Brother, I’m going to sleep now.”
“Alright, sleep tight!” Curls couldn’t help but pinch his sister’s small nose gently, then carried her on his back, heading back home.
“Brother, I’m already asleep.”
“Okay, brother knows.”
“I really fell asleep.”
“Mhm.”
