“No! Let me go! I have extremely important things inside! I can’t let them be destroyed!”
Finally realizing who the familiar man in sunglasses was, Samuel Sterns started struggling desperately, thinking about the gamma-irradiated Hulk blood samples he had painstakingly replicated and hidden in his room.
Of course, an ordinary person couldn’t possibly escape the grip of Tony Stark, especially in the newly upgraded Mark V suit with advanced materials and energy sources.
Inside the room where Qi Jun was “battling” the Hulk, he easily noticed Samuel Sterns’ behavior.
Qi Jun could only admire the scientist’s intense passion for his work. Sterns was a scientist who held a thousand percent enthusiasm for his field.
Through his telepathic ability, Qi Jun saw the cabinet filled with gamma-irradiated Hulk blood samples in Sterns’ secret lab. Besides, these samples had not only collectible value but could also be used with the mutation stone to create varying levels of Hulk-strength enhancement serums.

After fighting Qi Jun for a while, the Hulk realized he couldn’t do anything to Qi Jun. Despite his size advantage, he was outmatched in every other way! So, in his increasing rage, the Hulk underwent a super evolution!
The Hulk’s body creaked and grew even larger and greener, becoming a towering figure that almost touched the ceiling.
“Hulk smash you!”
Feeling his newfound strength, the super-evolved Hulk roared and charged at Qi Jun.
Boom! Despite his transformation, the Hulk still wasn’t a match for Qi Jun. With one punch, Qi Jun sent the Hulk flying out of the room! Sterns’ apartment wasn’t on the top floor, and Qi Jun didn’t want their fight to collapse the building and bury himself in the rubble, even if it wouldn’t hurt him; it would be quite a mess.
Moreover, Qi Jun had deliberately punched the Hulk in the direction of General Ross’s approaching forces! To tame the Hulk, it wasn’t enough to overpower him; the Hulk needed to vent his rage too. And what better timing than General Ross’s arrival?
As for Tony Stark asking for help to minimize civilian casualties, it didn’t mean military personnel were included in that concern. Qi Jun had no particular fondness for the U.S. military; he had already sold them weakened super-soldier serums and revealed Wakanda’s secrets to the Pentagon.
Therefore, Qi Jun had long since disrupted the original Marvel storyline, even if he hadn’t realized it yet.

“Think you can handle it?”
Seeing Qi Jun easily punch the super-evolved Hulk away, Tony Stark finally released Samuel Sterns and flew over to Qi Jun’s side using ion thrusters.
Meanwhile, Samuel Sterns, now free, darted through the wrecked living room and bedroom to reach his secret lab.
However, the lab was already a mess, and the costly replicated Hulk blood samples were all gone!
“No!!!”
Samuel Sterns cried out in anguish. Qi Jun glanced at him but didn’t pay much attention. Although Sterns was a target, the Hulk was the immediate problem. Without the Hulk blood, Sterns was just an ordinary man, so dealing with him could wait.
“What do you think?”
Dressed in a superman-like suit with a billowing cape, Qi Jun exuded a superior aura.
Glancing at the armored Tony Stark, Qi Jun casually asked.
“I guess it’ll be easy for you.”
Tony Stark, not wearing his helmet, didn’t notice that JARVIS couldn’t detect Qi Jun’s presence. Seeing Qi Jun’s relaxed demeanor, Stark shrugged and smiled.
Despite his promise not to record Qi Jun’s data, Tony Stark had not yet discovered Qi Jun’s anomaly.

“But why not resolve it directly? Or lure the green monster to a deserted place?”
Seeing the super-evolved Hulk rampaging through Ross’s troops, Tony Stark seemed puzzled. Although the fight hadn’t harmed civilians, Stark was still concerned.
“Do you think General Ross would back down without getting hurt?”
Qi Jun replied nonchalantly, not explaining further.
Dealing with the Hulk was actually simple, which brought Qi Jun back to the dark magic he thought he wouldn’t need.
As Bruce Banner’s alter ego, the Hulk was essentially a soul fragment. Initially, Qi Jun had no way to resolve this issue and could only let Banner confine himself in a gamma lab for 18 months to attempt soul fusion.
However, after manifesting Chthon’s dark magic, Qi Jun found that solving the Hulk problem was incredibly easy!
