Yasuo in Marvel Chapter 47

This Kiss

Strucker watched as his massive fortress began to explode, flames shooting into the sky. Reality slapped him hard, almost burying this Hydra head. His two most trusted subordinates sacrificed, special forces nearly wiped out, accumulated mechanized troops annihilated, elite snipers left in tatters, and the entire base destroyed by one man. The blow to their morale was irreparable. The red-clad weirdo would henceforth be a nightmare for this branch of Hydra.

Such losses, such costs, and he still didn’t know why. Why did the red-clad weirdo come to attack him?

About a kilometer from the base, Stephen anxiously waited for Yasuo’s return. Sharon Carter’s condition was dire; she had repeatedly lost consciousness and stopped breathing, hovering between life and death. Sharon Carter felt life slipping away, holding on by sheer willpower. She hoped to see Yasuo one more time—the man willing to face an army for her. Yasuo defeating a mechanized enemy force single-handedly had already exceeded her expectations. She no longer had much hope for an antidote.

Seeing the base self-destruct, Yasuo used Flash to leave the fortress. Enemies fled in all directions, but Yasuo no longer had the heart to chase them for gold coins. Fixing his direction, Yasuo sped towards Sharon Carter and the others.

Sharon Carter struggled to breathe, each breath loud and labored. Her eyes wide open, staring straight ahead, afraid that if she closed them, she might never open them again. She wanted to see that red figure return before her eyes shut forever.

Yasuo returned to the parked car, finding Stephen supporting Sharon Carter, struggling to sit. Her eyes widened, startling Yasuo with their intensity. Once full of vitality and charm, Sharon Carter now resembled an aged elder, exuding an aura of decay. Yasuo believed she might die any second.

Seeing the red figure return, a faint light sparkled in Sharon Carter’s eyes. She looked at Yasuo with effort, her lips moving as if trying to speak, but her condition rendered her speechless. She managed to move her arm, revealing a wrinkled piece of paper in her hand. She tried to lift it towards Yasuo, signaling for him to take it. It was the clue she had risked her life for, containing information about Hydra. She needed to deliver it to S.H.I.E.L.D., and Yasuo was the person she trusted the most now.

Seeing Sharon Carter’s condition, Yasuo couldn’t bear to see a beauty perish before him. He believed he might have played a part in her suffering due to the butterfly effect. As a time traveler, his small actions had caused subtle changes, leading Sharon Carter, the future girlfriend of Captain America, into a life-threatening situation.

Yasuo gently took Sharon Carter’s hand, placing it back into her lap, and whispered in her ear, “This important thing, you should deliver it to Nick Fury yourself. I haven’t given you permission to die yet, and no one can take your life.”

Saving Sharon Carter’s life was simple. On the way, Yasuo had thought of several ways.

Soraka’s W (Astral Infusion) could heal others using her own life force, costing 6300 gold coins.

Mikael’s Crucible, which increased magic resistance, removed all negative effects from a person, healed them, and temporarily boosted their movement speed, costing 2100 gold coins.

Without hesitation, Yasuo chose to buy the equipment instead of the skill. Healing others was not in the cards for a Joyous Wind Man like him.

He purchased Mikael’s Crucible through the system, equipped it, and used it on Sharon Carter. A white light enveloped her, and within seconds, her condition visibly improved. Her aura of decay faded, her pale face regained color, the spots on her skin disappeared, her breathing steadied, and her eyes regained their sparkle.

Feeling the change within her, Sharon Carter was amazed. The transformation happening to her was surreal. Her weak body began to regain vitality. Moments ago, she struggled to breathe, but now she felt strength returning. She sensed a unique energy expelling the virus within her. This wasn’t a serum but a special ability. Yasuo was becoming more mysterious, continually reshaping her perception.

Seeing Sharon Carter revitalized, Yasuo thought to himself, “Cap, you owe me one.” Though still frozen in ice, Captain America owed him a favor for saving his future girlfriend.

Lost in his thoughts, Yasuo suddenly felt a warm body throw itself into his arms. He stumbled back three steps before stopping. Just as he tried to see what happened, soft, moist lips pressed against his.

Yasuo’s mind went blank. This was what kissing felt like!

Stephen, seeing Sharon Carter recovering and kissing Yasuo, decided to leave them some space. Just as he turned to go, he heard Sharon Carter’s vibrant voice.

“This is to thank you. Don’t get the wrong idea!”

It ended? So, he didn’t need to leave? That was quick!

Yasuo was still in a daze from the kiss. Having been a virgin for over thirty years across two lifetimes, he swore the experience was incredible, especially with a blonde, blue-eyed beauty like Sharon Carter.

Sharon Carter, noticing Yasuo still standing there, dazed, with a smile on his face and drool at the corner of his mouth, thought he was like a baby.

Stephen broke the silence by rushing up to give Yasuo a big hug, squeezing tightly. “No doubt about it, you’re my idol! The red-clad weirdo, you’re amazing! I saw everything you did. Taking on a mechanized regiment alone and defeating them head-on. You were incredible!”

Being hugged by a beauty like Sharon Carter was enjoyable. Being hugged by someone Yasuo considered a potential homosexual like Stephen was not. It felt disgusting. Yasuo pushed Stephen away forcefully.

“Alright, now that everything’s resolved, do we head back home or what?” Yasuo asked Stephen, but he was actually addressing Sharon Carter. He was too shy to look directly at her. Although he was the Joyous Wind Man and believed in living joyfully, he felt a bit embarrassed now.

When it came to business, Sharon Carter quickly returned to her professional demeanor, instructing Stephen to drive them back to the airport at full speed. She had important information to report!
