Yasuo in Marvel Chapter 51

A Ruthless Woman

At S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters in New York, Alexander Pierce sat in his office, barely containing his anger. He was deeply displeased. He had recently risked exposure to help clean up the mess left by the Reaper attack on S.H.I.E.L.D.’s secret lab, a task tied to the relic from a previous era, Wolfgang von Strucker. Now, there was yet another issue causing him trouble.

Sitwell had just passed on an urgent high-level intelligence report from within Hydra. After reading it, Alexander Pierce wanted to strangle that foolish old man, von Strucker.

The report detailed that Hydra’s base in Sokovia had been attacked by the Red-clothed Weirdo. In desperation, they had to self-destruct the base, causing all personnel to go into hiding. It was suspected that critical intelligence had been lost. The request was for Alexander Pierce to intercept this intelligence covertly and to prevent S.H.I.E.L.D. from conducting further searches in Sokovia, thereby buying time for von Strucker to cover his tracks.

Despite having infiltrated S.H.I.E.L.D. so thoroughly that it resembled a sieve—with over half the agents now secretly aligned with Hydra—any overt interference with Nick Fury’s operations might still arouse suspicion.

His grand plan, “Project Insight,” was almost complete. Once the Helicarriers were operational, they would eliminate all threats to Hydra, ensuring Hydra’s resurgence would be unstoppable. Everything was in place; he just needed to avoid exposure.

Pierce smashed his beloved mug in frustration and carefully dialed a number. This time, he couldn’t show his hand, but he knew someone who could handle it.

Seconds later, the call connected, and Pierce could hear the screams of a man in the background.

“Sorry to bother you, Madam Hydra. Von Strucker in the Sokovia branch has caused some trouble. We need your assistance to clean it up,” Pierce immediately deflected blame onto von Strucker and got straight to the point.

“Don’t bother me with trivial matters. You know I’m not one of you, nor am I your subordinate,” came a woman’s voice from the other end.

“You’ll be interested in this—a powerful young superhuman, and the opportunity to step on your old rival’s head,” Pierce knew what she wanted.

“Oh, a young and powerful superhuman? Now I’m intrigued.”

Madame Hydra, an orphan who once saved Wolverine and had an indescribable relationship with him, was later recruited by Hydra, becoming Madame Hydra. Now, she was an international terrorist and super-criminal mastermind. Having made a pact with an ancient evil god, she gained the ability to slow her aging and remain youthful. This ability had kept her active for over half a century, maintaining a mutually beneficial relationship with Hydra.

Kebo, a genetically modified super-soldier cultivated by Pierce, was a muscular, ruthless killer who always got back up, no matter how many times he was knocked down.

R. Giyera, a former marine and now a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent secretly aligned with Hydra, possessed telekinetic abilities and was also a cold-blooded killer.

These two received secret orders from Hydra’s inner circle to assist Madame Hydra in a covert cleanup mission.

Pierce, using some subtle tricks, managed to send S.H.I.E.L.D.’s top agents on various assignments. Ultimately, Sitwell was dispatched by Nick Fury to Sokovia to handle Sharon Carter’s follow-up mission.

Alexander Pierce was very pleased with his arrangements. Sitwell would handle the Sokovia ruins, and he would secretly provide Madame Hydra with the Red-clothed Weirdo’s location. Any attacks by international terrorists would be unrelated to him, and Fury could direct his retaliation towards some Middle Eastern countries.

Yasuo was unaware of the surprise Alexander Pierce was preparing for him from across the Atlantic. He continued living a seemingly idyllic life with Sharon Carter. Why “seemingly”?

In the evening, Sharon Carter approached Yasuo with a box of ingredients, determined to cook a sumptuous dinner for her partner, believing it would make him love her even more.

Sharon Carter found wielding a gun easier than a knife and a knife easier than a spatula. Under Yasuo’s expectant gaze, she presented a plate of something blackened and then went back to the kitchen, bringing out another plate of equally blackened food.

With a hopeful smile, she looked at Yasuo and the food.

Seeing the charred items on the table, emitting a burnt smell, Yasuo swore he would rather eat instant noodles for the rest of his life than try what was on the table.

As Sharon Carter’s expression changed from hopeful to furious, Yasuo, embodying the carefree spirit of the Wind Swordsman, ignored her glare. His actions were not easily swayed by anyone.

In their silent standoff, Sharon finally snapped, flipping the table in anger. She kicked it towards Yasuo and followed up with a swift kick aimed at his groin.

Prepared for this, Yasuo reacted quickly. He smashed the flying table into pieces with his left hand and caught her leg with his right hand, stopping the low blow.

Even with one leg caught, Sharon Carter didn’t relent, throwing punches at Yasuo.

Seeing this crazed woman not giving up, Yasuo pulled her leg hard, causing her to lose balance and fall towards him. He caught her, preventing her from hitting the ground. They locked eyes.

Yasuo hadn’t expected this outcome. Locking eyes, he realized he should make a move. Despite his lack of experience, he knew this was the moment. If he didn’t kiss her now, was he even a man?

Sharon, too, noticed something was off. Blushing slightly, she was about to concede when…

“Bang.” The door burst open, and Stephen rushed in with a gun, having heard the commotion.

What did he see? Yasuo holding Sharon Carter by the waist with one hand and her leg with the other, their faces close, Sharon blushing slightly, surrounded by broken wood and some blackened items.

Embarrassed, Stephen chuckled, “I heard noises and knocked, but you didn’t answer. I thought something happened. I didn’t mean to intrude. I’ll leave now.”

Stephen quickly left, gently closing the door behind him.

Yasuo awkwardly released Sharon, who looked ready to kill him. Deciding to act first, he quickly embraced her with his super speed and kissed her before she could react, carrying her to the bedroom.

Ignoring Sharon’s resistance and punches on his back, Yasuo, the cheerful Wind Swordsman, focused on his happiness, caring little for the consequences.
