Yasuo in Marvel Chapter 55

A Venomous Woman

Sharon Carter, out of control, pulled out a knife and stabbed herself viciously in the abdomen. The sensation of cold steel slicing through her flesh hit her immediately.

“Ugh!” Blood spewed from Sharon Carter’s mouth. The intense pain combined with the rapid blood loss made her body feel cold. Looking at Stephen still running, she wanted to warn the rookie agent, but her voice and the blood got stuck in her throat, making it hard to breathe.

Kebo, feeling his body lighten, was flooded with intense pain, realizing R. Giyera had released his telekinetic hold. It seemed he found a new toy—Sharon Carter, the famed level-nine agent. The rookie ahead of him was now his to toy with.

Stephen sensed something was wrong. His stamina was depleting, and the original plan hadn’t even started. Did something happen to Sharon Carter?

Kebo, now free, wasn’t in a rush. He enjoyed the cat-and-mouse game, leisurely following Stephen, watching him struggle. “Hey kid, your partner has abandoned you. Feeling hopeless now? Hahaha!”

Stephen’s courage waned, and despair began to set in. He wondered if Sharon Carter used him as bait and escaped, making a fool of him all along.

“Thud!” A large kukri knife plunged into Stephen’s back, an ice-cold, unyielding object piercing through his flesh. The pain made Stephen’s entire body convulse and spasm, toppling to the ground. Breathing became extremely difficult.

Blood poured from the wound on his back. The large kukri had gone straight through him, the icy sensation a testament to the blade’s path through his muscles.

Stephen was lucky the knife missed his vital organs, but death was only a matter of time.

“Swish!” Kebo yanked the knife out, indifferent to Stephen’s pain.

“Ah!” The secondary trauma sent blood gushing from Stephen’s back, his mouth spewing blood as his vision blurred.

At a distance, Sharon Carter, her eyes glazed over, fought desperately against the mysterious force controlling her. In her moment of despair, she summoned strength from somewhere and bit down hard on her tongue, the pain breaking the spell, allowing her to regain control.

Using her remaining strength, she grabbed a detonator that had fallen nearby and, with a crazed expression, pressed it.

Ignoring Stephen’s presence in the blast radius, she knew this might save or kill him.

Four high-explosive grenades and a special bomb created a trap that detonated with a massive explosion, shaking the entire island.

Stephen, in his despair, felt a wave of heat fling him away. Already severely injured, the blast’s force knocked him unconscious.

While Sharon Carter and her team were struggling, Yasuo, not far away, was rushing to aid his new girlfriend. As he ran, he sensed a snake-like presence eyeing him. Vigilant, he scanned the area and saw a woman with black hair and green clothing emerge. She licked her lips with a crimson tongue, her gaze on Yasuo predatory.

“Red-clothed freak, want to play with me?” The Viper, staring at Yasuo, teased, licking her lips.

“You? I don’t fancy old, ugly women!” Yasuo retorted, dashing towards her.

Without hesitation, Yasuo used E (Steel Tempest) and Q (Steel Wind Strike) to quickly deal with her.

For the first time, his attack met resistance. A long whip weapon coiled around Yasuo’s sword.

“Don’t be so hasty, man. If you want something, just tell me. Maybe I’ll oblige,” Viper, unfazed by Yasuo’s words, continued to taunt him. She knew how to use her perfect looks and figure to get what she wanted, confident no man could resist her.

Normally, Yasuo might have pretended to fall for her ploy to gain an advantage, but with Sharon Carter in danger, he had no time for games.

Taking advantage of her talking, Yasuo charged up and unleashed a whirlwind, destroying her whip. Unfortunately, she anticipated his move, dodging just in time.

Using his speed, Yasuo chased the Viper, but his attacks were always narrowly evaded. Having experienced the boost of the Blood Moon skin’s speed, Yasuo felt painfully slow now, not meeting his needs.

The Viper’s snake-like intuition warned her of severe danger, a feeling akin to facing a natural predator. She narrowly escaped his whirlwind, abandoning her weapon. Now she witnessed Yasuo’s extraordinary speed, relying solely on her instincts to avoid his strikes.

After more than twenty attacks, Yasuo realized something was off. The Viper must have some means of predicting his moves.

The Viper’s superhuman physique was no match for Yasuo’s speed. Without her instincts, she would have already been defeated. But the most dangerous part of a snake is not its fangs, but its venom.

Aside from seduction, the Viper’s deadliest asset was her toxins. Her immunity to poisons made her an expert on the properties and uses of every toxin on Earth. Beyond biochemical toxins, she invented her own. Her teeth were hollow, concealing various lethal poisons, and she excelled at using venom-coated darts.
