With another shout, his Zanpakuto transformed again into a sleek, black long sword, and his soul power surged dramatically.
“Getsuga Tenshou!”
Standing on the rooftop, Hawking swung his sword towards the moon, releasing a black crescent-shaped energy wave.
“The power is decent but still falls short of the Kamehameha.”
Getsuga Tenshou had a potent energy wave, but it couldn’t match the sheer power of the Kamehameha. However, it had its advantage in dealing with spiritual entities, something the Kamehameha couldn’t do.
“This setup feels familiar.”
Standing on the rooftop, under the moonlight, releasing Getsuga Tenshou felt oddly nostalgic, but he didn’t dwell on it and continued his experiments.
“Shunpo!”
With a flash, he appeared on the rooftop of a neighboring building.
“It’s somewhat similar to the Body Flicker Technique.”
Shunpo, a basic ability of Shinigami, allowed instant high-speed movement. The higher the spiritual pressure, the faster the speed and the longer the step distance.
Returning to his body, Hawking raised his hand, “Kido #21: Sekienton.”
Immediately, the entire Bronx district was enveloped in thick fog.

But Hawking wasn’t worried about this. He was loading Ichigo’s template, meaning even if he lost his powers, he could regain them the next time he loaded the template.
He wanted to see the true extent of the Shinigami powers at their peak and how much they could enhance his soul.
