Hals was ready for a quick fight, wanting to return to training. The sooner it ended, the sooner he could go home and wash his clothes.
Hals charged, not fully transforming into a dragon but engaging Mole directly.
A full transformation would mean he couldn’t overpower Mole due to Mole’s vast combat experience.
Winning would require a lengthy battle, which Hals wanted to avoid.
The two brawled, Hals’ protections shattered, and Mole’s sword reached Hals’ neck.
Though it wouldn’t be fatal.

Hals pushed the sword away, turning to leave.
