One Piece Admiral Silver Fox Chapter 74

Departure

Under the night sky, stars twinkled like countless fireflies, with occasional meteors streaking across, vanishing in an instant.

In the stillness of the night, Foxy, who had been resting on his bed in an Alabasta hotel, suddenly opened his eyes. Glancing at Donald Duck, who was drooling and snoring lightly beside him, he moved to the window and disappeared.

Donald Duck turned over, the long feathers on his butt twitching slightly as he mumbled in his sleep.

Jumping from rooftop to rooftop, Foxy used his Observation Haki to scan the area. He spotted a few luxurious villas in the town center, clearly homes of the wealthy.

Foxy had always dreamed of robbing the rich to feed the poor, and now he could finally make it a reality.

Rob the rich and help the poor—meaning himself—no problem with that!

Perfectly silent, Foxy, though still quite weak, was more than capable of robbing the rich.

Using his Observation Haki evaded some inattentive guards, he successfully entered one of the villas.

After some searching, Foxy found the safe. His Observation of Haki was invaluable for this kind of work, allowing him to easily locate the hidden compartment.

Inside, he found various treasures and Berries that dazzled his eyes. He took out a pre-prepared sack and filled it with about 100,000 Berries.

It wasn’t that Foxy didn’t want to take more, but carrying too much would cause trouble, and he couldn’t take it all.

A kid carrying that much money would draw attention. It was better to keep things simple and just get to Loguetown without causing problems.

Satisfied with the weight of his sack, Foxy disappeared through the window, leaving behind only the fluttering curtains stirred by a breeze. Everything remained undisturbed.

When Foxy sneaked back into the hotel, he was startled to see Donald Duck sitting on the bed watching him.

Foxy stood outside the window, heart pounding.

“What are you doing staring at the window in the middle of the night?”

Unapologetic, Foxy closed the window and looked at Donald Duck, holding the sack.

“Quack, quack…”

Donald Duck seemed excited, his big eyes wide and wings flapping.

“I went to rob the rich and help the poor.”

Seeing Donald Duck’s questioning look, Foxy shook the sack in his hand.

Somewhat skeptical, Donald Duck waddled over to Foxy and peeked into the sack, looking surprised.

“This is our travel money. Go to sleep now. Tomorrow we’ll head to the port to see if there’s a ship going to Loguetown.”

“Quack, quack…”

The night passed uneventfully, and the next day, Foxy and Donald Duck left.

Rape Flower, Alabasta’s port city, was half a day’s journey from Yuba.

With Donald Duck, it only took half an hour. Dunes and rivers were no obstacle, and they zipped over them as if on flat ground.

Foxy often mocked the name “Rape Flower” for a port city, wondering who had such poor taste.

Rape Flower was a city of Alabasta because a river connected it to the sea. Most supply ships docked here, making the city prosperous.

The port was bustling with people loading and unloading goods, merchants, and pirate ships.

After some inquiries, Foxy managed to board a merchant ship heading to Loguetown, almost exhausting the Berries he had “borrowed” last night.

At the port, Donald Duck hesitated, looking in a certain direction with some reluctance.

Foxy joined him, gazing in that direction, and then said, “If you don’t want to go, you can stay. I’ll respect your choice.”

“Quack.”

Donald Duck turned to look at Foxy, his head feathers drooping.

“I have to leave this time. If you stay, I promise to come back and visit you, assuming I’m still alive.”

Foxy patted Donald Duck’s wing, feeling a bit reluctant.

“Quack.”

Donald Duck nudged Foxy with his head, then looked back in the direction of his home, sniffling. Finally, he made a firm decision with a quack.

He wanted to follow Foxy. He wanted to leave this place of heartbreak.

Seeing Donald Duck’s determination, Foxy smiled.

“From now on, it’s just you and me.”

“Quack…”

And so, man and duck boarded the merchant ship, destined to create a legend.

Foxy never saw Donald Duck as a burden. With his incredible speed, Donald Duck could outrun most opponents.

Moreover, Donald Duck could become stronger.

Foxy believed that under his guidance, Donald Duck would never remain an ordinary duck.

In Foxy’s eyes, Donald Duck was more than a pet; he was a very important friend. It wasn’t just that Donald Duck had saved his life, but the time they spent together had forged an unbreakable bond.

Despite it being only a little over a month.

Meanwhile, at the Marineford port…

More than ten warships were fully prepared. As the chains clinked against the ground, Roger was escorted out of the prison by two Vice Admirals, ready to board the warship heading to Impel Down.

“The sunlight is quite dazzling today,” Roger remarked, his face still pale, resembling an elderly man nearing death, his entire being exuding an aura of decay.

Even so, he was still intimidating.

At the port, many high-ranking Marines stood watching Roger. Some looked at him with complicated feelings, others with satisfaction or excitement.

“Enjoy your last half month,” said Kong, wearing his Fleet Admiral coat, looking at Roger with a blank expression.

“Thanks for the reminder,” Roger grinned, as carefree as ever.

“Hmph!”

Kong snorted. “Take him aboard.”

“Yes, sir.”

Watching Roger’s back, Garp, Sengoku, and the others remained silent. Tsuru furrowed her brows, deep in thought.

She still couldn’t figure it out after all this time.

“Stick to the plan. There must be no mistakes,” Kong said to Sengoku and the others. The convoy escorting Roger was formidable enough to wipe out any of the Yonko’s forces twenty years later.

Admiral Sengoku, Black Arm Zephyr, Marine Hero Garp, along with veteran Vice Admirals and the three Marine monsters Sakazuki, Borsalino, and Kuzan…

Tsuru did not accompany them.

“Understood,” Sengoku nodded solemnly.

“Let’s move out and see if any fools walk into our trap.”

Many meetings had been held over the past few days, with various speculations and strategies discussed. In the end, they still couldn’t decipher Roger’s intentions.

The Five Elders seemed eager to proceed. Initially, they planned to execute Roger as soon as possible, but Kong’s suggestion to use the situation as a trap led them to extend the timeline to half a month.

No one knew who else from the Roger Pirates might hold the secrets of Raftel. If they could lure them all out, the Five Elders wouldn’t mind wasting a bit of time.

In the end, everyone boarded the warships, each wearing their Justice coats. The force alone was enough to dominate the seas.
