One Piece Admiral Silver Fox Chapter 76

Future Big Names

Loguetown

Loguetown, located in the East Blue near the entrance to the Grand Line, is a critical stop for anyone entering the Grand Line from the East Blue. While it may not be famous now, the announcement by the World Government to execute the Pirate King, Gol D. Roger, here has put this town on the map.

In the future, it will be known as the “Town of Beginnings and Ends.”

This name stems from the fact that Gol D. Roger started his quest for dreams here, embarking on a journey that saw him rise through countless adversaries, leaders, and powerful figures to become the Pirate King. His legend starts here and fittingly, will end here as well.

The World Government is leveraging every opportunity to discredit pirates, blatantly demonstrating to the world that pirates are evil and barbaric. Even if one becomes the Pirate King, they remain a failure in the face of absolute justice.

To emphasize this, the World Government dispatched numerous agents, both overtly and covertly. Although Roger could have been executed at Marineford or another location, the government chose Loguetown to send a clear message to pirates.

This transformed the once peaceful and harmonious island into a hub of chaos and activity.

From an aerial view, the increasing crowd in Loguetown is evident, including pirates, marines, various underground figures, officials, and royal dignitaries from different kingdoms.

The mix of factions is complex, with many ships arriving from the New World, the Grand Line, and the four seas. These individuals all have one goal: to witness the fall of a great king.

Aboard a Merchant Ship, One Day from Alabasta

A day ago, a merchant ship left Alabasta, also heading towards Loguetown.

Foxy and Donald Duck spent the day in their cabin. Foxy was doing handstand push-ups, supporting his entire weight on his middle fingers, training intensively. Nearby, Donald Duck was standing on one leg, looking lifeless and listless, his mind elsewhere, longing to explore outside.

“Quack, quack…” Donald Duck looked at Foxy, flapping his wings, his round eyes filled with anticipation.

Foxy had always wondered why Donald Duck’s quacking sounded different from other ducks. He had asked Donald Duck, but the duck had only looked at him innocently.

“Just ten more minutes of training,” Foxy said without stopping.

“Quack!” Donald Duck’s eyes narrowed in happiness, his plump tail wagging.

Ten minutes flew by. After finishing his training and washing his face, Foxy and Donald Duck left the room.

On deck, they felt the sea breeze and looked out at the endless horizon. Foxy took a deep breath. The deck was bustling with people, moving supplies, merchants, mercenaries, and more.

The atmosphere was diverse and chaotic. Many, like Foxy, were hitching a ride to Loguetown to witness the Pirate King’s execution.

Enjoying the fresh air, Donald Duck was thrilled, running to the railing and looking at the sea, quacking excitedly. People around gave the duck a curious glance but then ignored him.

Leaning against the railing, Foxy patted Donald Duck as if comforting and promising something.

“Quack, quack,” Donald Duck suddenly pointed with his wing towards the left side of the sea.

The sea was littered with wreckage from ships and bodies, likely remnants of a pirate ship.

This site wasn’t isolated; Foxy saw many broken pirate ships on the sea.

The people on the merchant ship also noticed, some tensing up while others remained confident, showing a range of reactions.

“Let’s hope nothing happens,” Foxy muttered, his face darkening at the obvious signs of battle, clearly caused by pirates.

If it were just ordinary pirates, the merchant ship’s guards should handle it. After all, to do business on the Grand Line, one needed connections. As long as they didn’t encounter particularly brutal pirates, there shouldn’t be much danger. The real worry was running into those who thrived on looting and killing, which would spell trouble.

“Boom… splash…”

As Foxy was lost in thought, an explosion echoed from the sea. Foxy’s face darkened, and he motioned for Donald Duck to follow as he ran towards the bow of the ship.

Flames erupted from a pirate ship directly ahead, split in two, with panicked pirates onboard. Then, a brilliant arc slashed through the sea, cutting the already broken ship further until it sank.

Nearby, on a simple raft, a young man stood. He sheathed his long sword and vanished, reappearing mid-air, heading towards the merchant ship using Moonwalk.

Landing smoothly on deck, Foxy’s eyes narrowed at the sight of the young man.

Wearing a plaid shirt with a long sword on his back, sporting short black hair, and most strikingly, those hawk-like, piercing eyes.

Despite his youth, Foxy recognized him immediately.

The future Warlord of the Sea, the world’s greatest swordsman, Dracule Mihawk.

Mihawk, now about twenty, had already achieved the status of a swordsman, evident from his earlier display of power, effortlessly slicing the sea.

In many forums, Dracule Mihawk is often described as the strongest Warlord of the Sea, even possessing the strength to rival the Four Emperors. His background remains a mystery.

In twenty years, Mihawk would be known for his calm, composed demeanor, living by his own rules, like a solitary peak standing above all. Yet, his temper could be fierce; merely being disturbed in his sleep would lead to the complete annihilation of the offending pirates.

He respected all challengers, never refusing a duel, which earned him great respect in return.

At this moment, Mihawk wasn’t wielding the supreme black sword Yoru yet. Even so, his presence was overwhelmingly sharp.

On the deck, Mihawk carried a bag of gold and silver. Noticing the attention, he glanced at Foxy, his gaze indifferent.

Their eyes met, and Foxy felt as if he were being seen through. Those hawk-like eyes were incredibly sharp and cold.

After a glance, Mihawk turned away as the ship’s officer approached. After confirming the ship was bound for Loguetown, Mihawk handed over his bag of treasure and followed the officer below deck.

Watching Mihawk’s departure, Foxy left the deck silently, a slight smile playing on his lips.

One day, he would become stronger than anyone else.
