Soaking in the hot spring, Tang An’s expression was grim.
No matter how upset he was, it didn’t change that his useless golden finger had never spoken up. If it were a system, it would be a knock-off, possibly even carrying syphilis.
He had four chances left. Even without luck points, it was better than nothing! He could draw something good if lucky, though the chances were low. He’d just have to accept his bad luck if he was unlucky.
Despite its uselessness, Tang An had to admit the golden finger was essential! It was a cheat. Without it, he wouldn’t be in as good a position as now.
Nowadays, who doesn’t have a cheat?
Tang An watched the screen and rolled the dice.
Tang An was slightly surprised by the first item as the dazzling light faded.
“Sexy black stockings.”
He had to admit, he had a bit of a thing for stockings.
“A pink hair clip.”
“A light yellow mattress.”
“A three-meter genuine leather sofa.”
The subsequent items were all things for intimate encounters, nothing valuable, but Tang An was relieved. His luck wasn’t too bad; he drew no punishment items.
Leaning against the edge of the hot spring, Tang An didn’t take out these items but instead draped a towel over his face and began to relax.
In the nearby iron box, Enmu perked up his ears, listening.
Late at night, with the crescent moon glowing and frogs croaking pleasantly, the hot spring’s steam dispelled Tang An’s fatigue.
A powerful aura approached rapidly. Tang An removed the towel from his face and saw a man standing on a distant rockery. His violet diamond-patterned pupils showed a bit of surprise, clearly not expecting to encounter such a significant villain here.
“Truly hideous!”
Dressed in a purple kimono, Kokushibo, with long black hair, stood on the rockery, looking down at Tang An in the hot spring. His six blood-yellow eyes were terrifying.
Tang An’s face, covered in acne, disgusted him.
“And you’re not much better, besides being revolting,” Tang An retorted. “A piece of trash forever jealous, living in his brother’s shadow.”
Tang An stood up from the hot spring, his naked body surrounded by golden lightning. With the sound of clanging metal, golden armor adorned his body!
Kokushibo’s insult about his appearance was like rubbing salt in a wound, utterly intolerable.
“You’re courting death.”
Kokushibo’s six eyes turned icy, his long black hair fluttering without wind. A powerful aura swept across the open-air hot spring, and the rockery beneath his feet cracked and collapsed.
Tang An’s words had hit a sore spot. His genius brother, Yoriichi Tsugikuni, was always his pain.
The tension between them was palpable from the start.
“Breath of the Moon, First Form: Dark Moon, Evening Palace.”
Kokushibo drew his demonic blade and appeared before Tang An like a phantom. His speed was so fast that the crescent-shaped slash left a trail adorned with crescent moon blades, dazzling like the real moon.
“Boom…”
The entire hot spring pool exploded, a storm forcibly pushing everything aside. Rain poured down around them, alarming everyone at the hot spring hotel. Many guests and staff fled, thinking it was an earthquake.
Tang An blocked the attack with his dog-leg knife, his feet sinking into the ground without retreating an inch.
Kokushibo’s six eyes spun, filled with horror.
“Not bad.”
Seeing Tang An block his attack, Kokushibo remained unimpressed.
“Breath of the Moon, Eighth Form: Moon-Dragon Ringtail.”
Kokushibo moved swiftly, gripping his demonic blade with both hands and spinning to unleash a massive crescent slash. The power was so great it tore at the eardrums.
Tang An’s response was equally burdensome.
With his golden armored boot hardened, he stomped down on the demonic blade, halting its advance.
Kokushibo’s six eyes grew colder. He stepped forward, increasing his strength.
Tang An’s eyes darkened, his golden boot glowing red, temperature rising, strength unrestrained.
“Boom…”
The powerful shockwaves rippled outwards, pushing up the ground in waves. The entire hot spring hotel was reduced to ruins. As their strength climbed, a spider-web crack spread across the ground.
A demonic blade suddenly appeared in Kokushibo’s left hand, sweeping toward Tang An’s neck.
Tang An remained unfazed, a dog-leg knife appearing in his left hand to counter. Sparks flew as their blades clashed, both men sinking into the ground, eyes locked on each other.
“Whoosh…”
A drop of water hit the ground, and they moved.
Tang An became a flash of golden lightning, while Kokushibo transformed into a crescent moon. They clashed fiercely, reappearing ten meters apart, then leaping into the air with metallic clangs.
Their attacks were too fast to see, each holding dual blades, beating.
After landing, the ground formed a large pit. In the next second, they collided like trains, sending shockwaves rolling out, causing explosions.
“Breath of the Moon, Sixth Form: Perpetual Night, Lonely Moon – Incessant.”
The crescent-shaped slashes intersected rapidly, relentlessly, and overwhelmingly.
Tang An blocked with his twin blades. Kokushibo swept a leg at him, but Tang An countered with his knee, holding firm momentarily before being sent flying.
Kokushibo pursued like a cannonball, his demonic blade swinging twice.
Tang An’s dog-leg knife disappeared. He flipped, pushing off with one hand to soar into the sky. The knife reappeared in his hand in the next second as he descended like a meteor.
A mushroom cloud rose, dirt and stones flying. A spider-web crater formed, Kokushibo kneeling with both hands on his blade, a fierce look on his face.
Seeing Kokushibo block the attack, Tang An’s left foot sank into the ground, his right glowing red-hot, sweeping toward Kokushibo like a pillar of destruction.
Kokushibo could only press down with his right hand. Bones cracking echoed as he was sent flying, leaving a deep trench before embedding in a hill.
Golden lightning shot across the sky, Tang An descending.
Kokushibo’s right hand was broken, and his chest caved in. He rolled to avoid the attack, but Tang An appeared beside him, his red-hot foot high, crashing down with earth-shattering force.
Kokushibo, shocked, blocked with his demonic blade, feeling as if a mountain had hit him. He spat blood and was sent flying into a forest.
Trees snapped and splintered as he tumbled into the dirt, blood splattering. His dual blades were broken.
Before he could catch his breath, a golden lightning bolt appeared to his left, the gleaming dog-leg knife tingling his scalp.
“Clang…”
Tang An’s eyes showed a trace of surprise. The broken blades had regenerated.
But it didn’t matter.
Tang An swept a leg at him. Kokushibo leaned back to avoid it, the explosion behind him erasing a large swath of forest.
Kokushibo then lunged with both hands on his demonic blade, aiming at Tang An.
Tang An leapt into the air, flipping to land above Kokushibo. He gripped his red-hot dog-leg knife and struck down, the temperature at its peak.
“Hell Blade.”
Kokushibo was stunned. He spiraled like a cannonball and narrowly dodged. From a distance, he stared at Tang An’s red and steaming blade.
Even from afar, he felt the intense heat.
He had suspected it before, but now he was sure.
