My name is Might Guy, a ninja from Konoha. I thought I would fight for the village until old age and then pass my youth to the next generation. But everything changed since that day.
My world collapsed and became dangerous. To help it recover, I chose to join a magical place—the Supreme Space!
“Youth is meant to be awake and fighting!” With the sound of the alarm clock in his ears, Guy flipped out of bed.
Waking up at four in the morning, check!
Rising up, Guy suddenly paused and looked around.
Where is this? Shouldn’t I be resting in my personal room?
Guy looked at the unfamiliar decorations around him and thought.
Suddenly, a flash of realization struck his mind. He seemed to be in a mission world.
But the problem was that Guy didn’t remember accepting a new mission from the Supreme Space. According to the average time, it should be at least a week before a new mission.
Thinking about this, Guy’s head hurt even more. In a daze, he realized that it seemed a week had already passed, but he couldn’t clearly remember that week.
Though confused about his current situation, Guy forced himself to calm down and prepared to check the Supreme Space’s mission record.
Whether it was his eyes or his brain, something seemed off. The records of the Supreme Space seemed to be constantly changing.
More importantly, Guy felt like he suddenly couldn’t read.
What is wrong with me? Guy held his head with one hand, his mind in chaos.
I can’t stay here. The space is too small. If it explodes, I can’t escape!
Guy walked towards the door, fighting against the chaotic thoughts in his mind.
The moment he stepped out, the yellow light on his body flickered a few times and then went out.
Where is this?
Guy raised his head, trying to observe his surroundings. The area was empty, and the sunlight felt fake rather than warm.
The streets were deserted. Only inanimate objects stood their ground as if the whole world were dead. The only movement came from the traffic lights, but there were no cars on the road.
Is this world also experiencing a biohazard?
Guy was lost and helpless. The mission was unreadable, and there was no one outside. What should he do?
While scanning around, Guy noticed something strange.
Squinting towards the distance, he saw a black line advancing, swallowing the buildings in its path.
Guy turned and ran. In such a bizarre situation, staying put wasn’t bravery; it was foolishness.
With every few steps, Guy saw the black line getting closer.
Eight Gates Released Formation, open!
Chakra burst from Guy’s body, the blue energy significantly boosting his speed.
But despite his increased speed, the black line continued to close the distance.
Realizing the problem, Guy spun mid-air, landing firmly on the ground and coming to a stop.
If he kept running, he wasn’t sure if he could escape. But he knew his chakra wouldn’t last long. If an enemy appeared, he’d be defenseless.
Rather than waiting helplessly, Guy decided to take a risk.
Accelerating, he charged towards the black line, crashing into it head-on.
Instantly, a sense of weightlessness enveloped Guy, his body floating with nothing to grasp.
A feeling of helplessness flooded Guy’s mind.
No, I can change this!
“Explode, my youth!”
Under Guy’s control, chakra formed a solid layer around him, stabilizing his position.
At that moment, Guy heard a voice. It sounded good but carried a sense of despair.
“Your world is destroyed, and you couldn’t stop it. Your companions died, and you couldn’t stop it. Even now, you can’t get out. You are just a powerless ordinary person.”
As the voice continued, the chakra around Guy diminished.
He searched for the source of the voice, convinced that if he found the target, he could escape.
The voice persisted.
“The youth you believe in doesn’t exist. It’s just an excuse for your inability to resist, a reason to comfort yourself. In the end, everything is because you are a powerless ordinary person.”
Guy’s chakra completely disappeared as the voice droned on, and he seemed to become an ordinary villager.
“There is only one truth. Your death is caused by the distant car. This is a murder…”
The voice’s logic collapsed, and the speaker seemed to be rambling.
But his words became a reality.
A single lane appeared before Guy, a speeding truck barreling towards him.
Guy wanted to dodge, but his mind kept telling him he was just an ordinary person and couldn’t evade such a fast truck.
Because of this thought, Guy made no move to dodge.
The truck neared Guy, and at that moment, time froze.
A strange wave from the void enveloped Guy, and time began to reverse.
As time rewound, Guy’s thoughts grew more chaotic.
He clung to his last shred of clarity, fighting off the chaotic thoughts.
The friends he had known for so many years, the comrades he had fought alongside, the satisfied students.
These images flickered in Guy’s mind, then were erased by the chaos, but they helped him remember who he was.
In the Supreme Space, Qi Yun felt uneasy, unsure of the source of the problem.
“Master, master? What’s wrong?” Qiqi asked with concern.
Qi Yun snapped out of his daze, shaking his head. “Qiqi, do you sense anything wrong?”
Qiqi tilted her head, thinking for a long time before shaking her head. “No, everything seems normal.”
“Really… Could it just be my imagination?” Qi Yun blinked.
In his room in the Supreme Space, Guy’s alarm clock went off again.
“Awake and fighting for youth!” Guy flipped out of bed.
He paused, feeling like he had already said this today.
Shrugging it off, Guy headed to the living room, which he had turned into a training room. Only constant training could keep him moving forward.
