The black smoke gradually condensed into a human shape.

The smoky figure had two red glowing eyes, and below them was a wide, menacing smile that sent chills down Pica’s spine.

Pica gritted his teeth as he looked at the smoky figure, his heart surging with killing intent. He wanted to punch this guy into oblivion.
“Humph, I didn’t expect a Time Patroller to come and interfere,” the smoky figure said with disdain, though its expression was unreadable. Its movements, however, made people want to beat it up.
“Kid, since you know who I am, I’ll leave your corpse intact.”
Pica’s eyes glowed red as he clenched his fists tightly. “Who kills whom is still uncertain.”
The smoky Takarus spread his hands. “Oh really? You think a clumsy Time Patroller like you can take me down? What a joke.”
“Is… that so?”
As soon as the words left his mouth, Pica appeared right in front of the smoky Takarus, his eyes filled with killing intent.
“Tsk, kid, do you know what I hate the most? It’s people getting this close to me. You’re asking for death!”
The smoky Takarus threw a punch at Pica.
“Bang!” A hand caught the punch and squeezed, turning the entire fist into black ash that fell to the ground.
The smoky Takarus took a step back and looked at his stump, “Not bad. You’ve made me want to fight. Kid, you’re unlucky. Not many can make me want to fight.”
As he looked at the smoky Takarus, Pica felt something was off. His personality seemed very different from the last time they met, yet his energy was undoubtedly Takarus’s.
Ignoring the bragging smoky Takarus, Pica accelerated and punched him, landing dozens of blows that created numerous holes in the smoky figure.
“Ah…” The smoky Takarus howled in pain, then looked at Pica with a sly grin. “Heh… doesn’t hurt!”
The smoky Takarus shook his body, and the holes closed up completely.
“Swish!” The smoky Takarus appeared in front of Pica, his fists moving like a Gatling gun, striking Pica rapidly. Each punch made the smoky Takarus more excited. “Bang!” A straight punch to the chest sent Pica flying back several meters.
As Pica staggered back, he found himself getting excited too. He licked his lips and laughed, “Ha ha… exhilarating! Come on!”
The two clashed again, fist to fist, leg to leg, fighting from the sky to the ground, from deep mountains to lakes. The entire world became their battlefield.
Mutaito’s disciples watched in stunned silence, unable to comprehend the superhuman battle before them.
Roshi, lying on the ground, had regained consciousness. He shook his head, feeling like a part of his memory was missing. When he saw the two fighting in the sky, he was utterly confused.
“Did I wake up wrong… I’ll faint again,” he muttered, closing his eyes. After a moment, he opened them and stared at the sky.
“So strong… hey, where’s Shen?”
Roshi shook his head and saw Shen lying beside him. He shook Shen, but he didn’t wake up. “Slap, slap,” Roshi smacked Shen’s cheeks.
Waking up in pain, Shen saw Roshi and roared, “Turtle, you bastard, is this how you wake people up?!”
“That’s not important. Look up there…” Roshi pointed at Pica and Takarus. Shen looked in the direction and was just as stunned.
“Who… are they?” Shen, like Roshi, was dumbfounded. Roshi shook his head, “No idea! If they can fly, they must be gods. Quick, Shen, kowtow!”
Roshi immediately knelt, and the still-groggy Shen followed suit, bowing twice. When they stood up, Roshi was laughing.
“You jerk, you tricked me!!”
Shen started chasing Roshi, while their fellow disciples watched in disbelief, thinking they were idiots.
“Bang bang bang!” Pica fired a barrage of ki blasts at the smoky Takarus. The blasts passed through the smoky body and hit the mountains behind, creating several craters.
“Hehehe…” The smoky Takarus laughed coldly. “You’ve been fighting me for so long, haven’t you realized I’m immortal?”
With that, the holes in his body closed up again. He continued attacking Pica more ferociously, pushing him back repeatedly.
What’s going on? This guy’s strength keeps increasing…
Pica was shocked, stretching his hand forward. A wave of energy rippled from his palm, blocking the incoming ki blasts from the smoky Takarus.
A lion uses all its strength to catch a rabbit. Looks like I underestimated my opponent. Pica coldly stared at the smoky Takarus. The wind had stopped, and the rain was holding off, signaling the coming storm.
“Boom…”
A thunderclap echoed, sending the beasts of the mountains scattering in fear.
Pica’s body blazed with red flames, his clothes fluttering in the fierce wind.
“Boom!” A ki blast shot from Pica’s hand, piercing through the smoky Takarus with incredible speed.
Only his head remained in midair, its mouth opening and closing eerily. “Damn it! You reduced me to just a head. Unforgivable!!”
Black smoke poured from his neck, forming a new body.
“Hmm?” Pica noticed a black object within the dull head. The smoke had been so thick earlier that it wasn’t visible.
In an instant, the body reformed, charging at Pica.

Pica fired ki blasts at the approaching smoky Takarus, who charged without dodging.
Pica spread his hands before his face, a smile playing on his lips, “Solar Flare!”
A blinding light hit the smoky Takarus’s eyes, making him close them tightly. Pain shot through his head.
“Special Beam Cannon!”
When he reopened his eyes, Pica’s hand was in claw form, reaching for his forehead.
Realizing too late, the smoky Takarus saw Pica holding a black crystal.
“No, give it back, give it back!!” the smoky Takarus panicked, fearing Pica would crush the crystal.
“So, this is your core.” Pica crushed the crystal without hesitation.
The smoky Takarus’s body twisted, deforming grotesquely before dissolving into nothing.
“Damn it! My master will avenge me!!”
Hearing this, Pica understood.
He wasn’t Takarus! Just an unknown creature.
As Pica prepared to leave with the scroll…
