When Yi Tianyun arrived at the residence with the Holy Maiden, he quickly shut the door and thoroughly inspected the place, layering it with multiple divine rune restrictions. This was to prevent any Evil Spirit Race members from spying on them; being caught would be troublesome.
When the Holy Maiden opened her eyes and saw Yi Tianyun constantly carving divine runes and inspecting every corner inside and out, she felt even more disgusted. The Holy Maiden sensed a strange presence beside her and opened her eyes. When she saw a human standing there, she was utterly shocked.
“A human?” The Holy Maiden was incredulous, wondering why there was a human here. Humans couldn’t collaborate with the Evil Spirit Race.
As a member of the Divine Spirit Race, she knew well about the Evil Spirit Race and that cooperation with humans was as unbearable as death for them. Working with lower races was unthinkable.
“Yes, a human,” Yi Tianyun replied with a smile. “I’ll release your restraints, but don’t run or speak out. Just follow my instructions, understood?”
The Holy Maiden looked at him in disbelief, then glanced at the Evil Spirit Puppet, indicating her confusion.

“When did I say I would rescue you? I’m just saving you for now,” Yi Tianyun replied. “If I let you go, how would I continue my mission here? I intend to fully infiltrate the Evil Spirit Race, learn all about them, and gradually eradicate them!”
Yi Tianyun didn’t mind sharing his plan, knowing the Divine Spirit Race had good relations with him and were absolute enemies of the Evil Spirit Race, guaranteeing they wouldn’t betray him.
