Be the Main God from Naruto Chapter 102

Allies of Justice

Orochimaru felt strange.

All the other reincarnators who descended into the Marvel universe had received their new missions.

Tenten and Rock Lee went to China, Sasuke and Naruto went to Italy, Gaara went to Germany, Jiraiya and Tsunade went to France and Poland respectively, Sakura and Mei Terumi went to the Soviet Union, and Kakashi had a transformation mission…

But Orochimaru had yet to receive any instructions.

Just as Orochimaru was beginning to feel suspicious, the cold mechanical voice finally echoed in his mind.

“Reincarnator 001, your mission has been assigned.”

“Mission Objective: Position the guilty East Asians against all of humanity.”

“Mission Enhancement: Mastery of the dominant languages on Earth-7777 (temporary).”

“Success Reward: One A-S rank Fate Gem based on completion rate, with reward points calculated and issued in real-time.”

“Failure Penalty: Stripping of reincarnator status.”

“Time Limit: One year.”

Orochimaru mulled over these details multiple times, forming a plan.

Failure was not an option he could afford.

However, with high risks came high rewards.

Completing this mission could make him immensely wealthy overnight.

Rubbing his aching temples, Orochimaru regretted spending the last of his reward points on Adamantium, Orichalcum, Void Metal, and Vibranium.

“This time, I might need to borrow from other reincarnators.”

His mind immediately went to his dear old companion, Jiraiya.

Jiraiya had been saving up Fate Gems and reward points to exchange for a certain bald hero’s abilities, and he spent his points only on arts from infinite dimensions. He was undoubtedly rich.

With this in mind, Orochimaru headed to France.

“Mission Objective: Guide Steve Rogers to transcend nationality and race, becoming the guardian of humanity.”

“Mission Enhancement: Mastery of English (temporary).”

“Success Reward: Reincarnator status; reformation of the physical body.”

“Failure Penalty: None.”

Under the sunlight, the semi-transparent figure of the Fourth Hokage, Minato Namikaze, appeared faint and ethereal.

He looked at the mission, clenching his fists slightly.

Naruto had been working so hard to revive him and Kushina; how could he, as a father who never fulfilled his duties, just sit back and enjoy the results?
Unfortunately, as a mere spirit, Minato couldn’t provide much tangible help to Naruto.

Wang Yan had discovered his presence and introduced him to the Supreme God.

This was an opportunity not to be missed!

“Master, I… won’t let you down!”

Minato looked at the ancient and unremarkable ring in the corner, determination flashing in his blue eyes. His form shimmered and he entered the ring.

Brooklyn, outside a movie theater.

“Kid, you’re quite the smart mouth…”

A twisted-looking young man blocked a frail, short “boy,” throwing a punch the size of a sandbag at him.

This small-framed person was…

Steve Rogers.

He had just stopped the guy’s low-class behavior in the theater, earning his ire, leading to the current confrontation.

The punch sent Steve to the ground.

He didn’t cry or wail, just gritted his teeth and got back up.

Steve clenched his fists, assuming a basic boxing stance.

This clumsy and laughable imitation clearly lacked any real combat effectiveness.

Another punch knocked him down again.

“I could do this all day!”

Steve got back up again, assuming his ridiculous boxing stance.

“Hey! What’s going on here!”

A tall, burly young man quickly arrived, stepping between the righteous little man and his attacker, glaring fiercely at the bully.

The weak fear the strong, and the strong fear the crazy.

James Buchanan “Bucky” Barnes was clearly the latter.

The bully hesitated, took a few steps back, glared at Steve one last time, and fled.

Bucky sighed as he looked at his childhood friend, “You got into another fight… This isn’t good.”

Being small and weak but with an excess of kindness and a sense of justice was not a good thing.

Steve Rogers looked up at his friend, “Bucky, you don’t have to help me. I can handle it.”

In art school, he had learned an artist’s stubbornness, believing he was physically small but a giant in spirit.

“Well… I have something to do. We’ll talk later.”

Bucky initially wanted to walk his friend home but suddenly changed his mind.

Steve Rogers nodded, his blackened eyes turning panda-like as he jogged back home.

The frail young man stayed home, not reading novels or engaging in other activities, but tirelessly studying several enlistment posters.

Because of his frail health, he had been rejected multiple times when trying to enlist.

As the thought of forging documents to join the army crossed his mind, he was inexplicably drawn to the corner of the room.

There lay an ancient metal ring.

Steve Rogers froze.

When did it get there?
False memories buried deep in his mind began to surface, revealing the ring’s “origin.”

“This is… something my grandmother left me.”

A wave of guilt and remorse washed over him.

He picked up the ring, cleaned it, and put it on his left middle finger.

A barely noticeable prick from his middle finger, and a faint scent of blood and rust filled his nostrils.

“Damn… I’m bleeding!”

Just as Steve was about to remove the ring, a gentle voice like jade echoed in his ear.

“Child with a heart of justice… you have finally arrived.”

The sudden voice startled Steve, causing him to fall.

Moments later, a semi-transparent humanoid figure emerged from the ring.

Dressed in red and white godly robes, with hair as brilliant as gold threads and eyes as pure and blue as the sky…

The figure’s appearance and aura were not those of a villain.

The universal law of high attractiveness was indeed valid in the Marvel universe as well.

Steve Rogers let down his guard and politely asked, “Excuse me, are you a ghost?”

Hearing this, Minato Namikaze smiled slightly and corrected, “I am a guardian spirit.”

“What’s the difference between a ghost and a guardian spirit?” The frail young man wasn’t overwhelmed with joy; instead, he was puzzled.

“A ghost is merely a collection of obsessions lingering in the human world.”

Minato’s face grew serious, his tone solemn, “As a guardian spirit, my only purpose is to guide you to become an ally of justice, to fight evil, and protect humanity.”

An ally of justice…

A protector of humanity…

Steve Rogers glanced at his scrawny arms and legs.

Pointing at himself, he chuckled bitterly, “Me?”
