Be the Main God from Naruto Chapter 104

Mad Rant of a New World

Marvel Universe.

June 18, 1943.

United States, B12 Secret Military Base.

Dr. Abraham Erskine, his hair white with age, set down his pen, unable to hide the excitement on his weary face.

“It’s a success! This is the truly perfect Super Soldier Serum!”

He was originally a biochemist in Germany, recruited into Hitler’s research team after developing the Super Soldier Serum formula. Witnessing the cruel human experiments conducted by the Nazis, Dr. Erskine felt a pang of conscience. Collaborating with premeditated American operatives, he successfully fled to the United States.

Foreigners often gain favor, and this strange phenomenon wasn’t unique to China.

Dr. Erskine was quickly valued by the American military, given ample resources and funding.

He didn’t disappoint, producing results swiftly.

However, a seemingly perfect research outcome was meaningless without clinical application.

Dr. Erskine soon submitted the necessary applications.

To his surprise, the usually bureaucratic American high command responded swiftly.

In just half a day, officials came to discuss the Super Soldier Project.

Dr. Erskine met the person in charge.

He was a very young Asian man with black hair and eyes, and a nonchalant smile that seemed to disregard everything.

This puzzled Dr. Erskine.

After all, the man wore a uniform with four silver stars!
This signified a U.S. General.

One of the top positions in the American military hierarchy!

One step higher, and he’d be among the few five-star generals appointed during wartime.

“Too young…”

Dr. Erskine accidentally voiced his thoughts.

However, he didn’t doubt the man’s identity.

The surrounding researchers, all of whom held high positions, showed genuine admiration upon seeing the young man.

He was baffled, unable to understand how the man had achieved such a high rank.

Military merit?

There hadn’t been any reports of a prodigious general. The only somewhat comparable figure, German General Rommel, was much older!

A wealthy scion?
The man’s aura of menace and authority didn’t fit.

As Dr. Erskine pondered, the excessively young Asian general approached, flanked by a group of mid- and lower-ranking officers.

He noticed the young general wore a nameplate with two Chinese characters.

Dr. Erskine, a biochemistry PhD, wasn’t a linguist.

To him, they were just two square characters, unreadable.

“A Qing dynasty person?”

His eyes widened, realizing the seriousness of his question.

The man chuckled, correcting him, “Chinese.”

“You can call me Wang, or Yan. Don’t pronounce my name in that awkward accent; it’s irritating.”

At this moment, Dr. Erskine almost questioned the existence of God.

If God didn’t exist, why would such unscientific things happen?

“Don’t dwell on trivial matters.”

Wang Yan waved dismissively. “Show me the Super Soldier Project that Chester has high hopes for.”

As a “Dimensional Traveler,” besides freely traversing dimensions, Wang Yan was automatically assigned a “high” social status in every world he entered.

Dr. Erskine didn’t dare delay, promptly presenting his research materials.

He wasn’t just a research-obsessed bookworm; he had some emotional intelligence.

Seeing Wang Yan’s indifferent mention of General Chester Phillips, Dr. Erskine knew how to treat the young general.

Wang Yan took the Super Soldier Project files, scanning through them quickly.

Often, groundbreaking scientific achievements weren’t profoundly complex; the key was a spark of creative inspiration.

With enough knowledge, one could understand.

As a mild obsessive-compulsive, Wang Yan, after constructing the Supreme God’s space and anchoring to the Marvel Universe, felt uneasy with the remaining five thousand resource points, so he used them all to acquire knowledge across various fields.

Now holding 21 doctorates and mastering multiple black technologies, he lived up to his reputation on the mundane Earth.

Watching Wang Yan rapidly flip through the research documents, Dr. Erskine’s gaze turned playful.

This was the disdain of a genius for an ordinary person.

He didn’t believe Wang Yan could understand the content.

Ultimately, it still required his explanation.

One’s energy was limited; achieving a high military rank at such a young age was already impressive.

Understanding his research materials?
Read for another ten years!

However, Wang Yan’s response far exceeded Dr. Erskine’s expectations.

Wang Yan set down the documents, expressionless. “The so-called Super Soldier merely reaches the possible extremes of human capabilities.”

“Do you know what kind of opponents we face in the future?”

“Masters of metal manipulation, psychic control, indestructible beings with super-fast regeneration, those who can shrink to ant size while maintaining their original strength, alien invaders.”

Hearing this, Dr. Erskine felt indignant.

He opened his mouth to explain, but Wang Yan interrupted mercilessly, “I know what you want to say.”

“Humanity has existed for so long, there are always a few lucky individuals. Genetic mutations leading to extraordinary abilities aren’t universally applicable.”

“But your Super Soldier Project can mass-produce low-tier superhumans, right?”

Here, “superhuman” didn’t refer to the DC universe’s sun-blowing Kryptonian, just humans exceeding ordinary limits.

Dr. Erskine felt something uncanny about this young general.

He nodded, feeling wronged.

“You have talent, but you’re too eager for quick success. That’s not good.”

Wang Yan, in a lecturing elder’s tone, advised earnestly, “If I’m not mistaken, your project’s success rate is only around 83%, right? Without a 100% success rate, how can you mass-produce?”

Dr. Erskine was startled.

He had never mentioned this probability in any proposal!
He had only calculated it mentally, never telling anyone.

Wang Yan had genuinely understood his research and data!

Even the critical data encoded in obscure ancient Greek, Wang Yan had effortlessly deciphered the real content?

This was…

Unbelievable!

Wang Yan shamelessly overlooked his past actions, accusing, “For every hundred volunteers, fourteen will die meaninglessly! Do you know what that means? Fourteen families will suffer! Or do you think ordinary volunteers’ lives are expendable?”

Faced with this tirade, Dr. Erskine’s remaining pride vanished.

His lips quivered, finally uttering, “But… Super Soldiers can boost military morale and enhance the American military’s overall strength…”

Wang Yan’s expression was disdainful, his tone arrogant. “To hell with America, let those politicians die!”

“I want a new world where people understand, sympathize, help each other, and are absolutely equal!”
