“I sensed it…” a woman’s pleasant voice echoed across the planet.
As her voice fell, the surrounding area sparkled with starlight-like points.
These points quickly gathered together, forming a graceful, stunningly beautiful woman.
“Pop!”
Lila reappeared beside the Grand Minister and bowed gracefully.
“Lila, no need to be so formal,” the Grand Minister waved his hand.
“His Angelic Power… it seems to contain a part of what I left behind, but it’s only a small portion,” Lila said, her eyes fixed on the distant arena, clearly seeing Ren despite the vast distance.
Lila’s eyes flickered with light, her expression thoughtful as she pondered something.
“I noticed that too,” the Grand Minister nodded slightly, “The majority of his power seems unconnected to any other angel.”
“What’s the reason? Did he really cultivate this Angelic Power on his own?” Lila grew more curious.
“I’m not entirely sure yet…” the Grand Minister shook his head slowly.
“Wasn’t it the Grand Angel?” Lila suddenly asked, remembering something.
“It’s not her,” the Grand Minister confirmed, “But that’s not important now. What’s crucial is whether making him the apprentice angel of this universe will greatly aid in your recovery.”
“It would help,” Lila admitted with a nod, “If he trains with me, it might have a multiplier effect. It could significantly enhance the Angelic Power I left in him and stabilize my body more quickly.”
“That’s all I needed to hear. I know what to do,” the Grand Minister said, slowly rising into the air.
“Thank you, Grand Minister,” Lila bowed again.
“Take care,” the Grand Minister waved as he vanished from the white planet and returned to the sky above the arena.
After the Grand Minister left, Lila’s body gradually faded away until she completely disappeared.
…
On the arena.
Zamasu’s legs kicked against the ground as he retreated, trembling with fear.
This terrifying demon!
How can there be such a terrifying human in this world?
I, a god, am completely outmatched by him!
“What should I turn you into?” Majin Buu grinned at Zamasu sitting on the ground, like a cat toying with a mouse.
Zamasu raised a hand to shield himself as if it could offer some defense.
But anyone could see that Zamasu’s eyes were filled with fear.
Too terrifying!
Absolutely terrifying!
Zamasu didn’t want to be turned into chocolate or cookies or chocolate cookies.
“I remember, Merus said… even if I turn you into a chocolate cookie, I can’t eat you,” Majin Buu suddenly seemed disappointed, rubbing his head, “If I eat you, you’ll die… then I can’t become a God of Destruction.”
Zamasu remained silent, pale-faced and trembling.
“Eliminating you too easily isn’t satisfying… how should I deal with you?” Majin Buu pondered, suddenly tearing a piece of flesh from his own belly.
This horrifying scene made Zamasu’s pupils nearly pop out of their sockets.
What a monster!
Majin Buu stretched the piece of flesh into a string.
“What are you doing?” Zamasu’s face turned ashen.
“Hehe!” Majin Buu grinned mischievously.
Zamasu had no idea what Majin Buu was planning.
But Zamasu was sure of one thing: he would be tormented by this creature.
I’m a god; how can someone like this torture me?
Should I jump out of the arena?
Then I’ll be eliminated, and that pink fatty won’t dare attack me anymore.
Thinking this, Zamasu glanced towards the edge of the arena.
But Zamasu was still at least ten meters from the edge.
However, for a god, that distance was nothing.
Gritting his teeth, Zamasu started inching towards the edge.
“You can’t escape,” Majin Buu grinned, flinging the string of flesh.
“Snap!”
The flesh string stretched into fine pink threads.
In an instant, the string formed a web.
A pink web.
The web stood on the arena ground, appearing behind Zamasu.
Then, Majin Buu ran up and kicked Zamasu.
“Ow…”
Zamasu’s body flew uncontrollably and landed on the web, sticking firmly to it.
Zamasu was a spread-eagle, with both hands and feet stuck.
“You can’t move now, can you?” Majin Buu grinned, walking towards Zamasu.
Zamasu’s face darkened as he struggled to free himself from the web.
No matter how hard he tried, Zamasu couldn’t break free.
“What are you doing?” Broly approached, asking.
“Hehe, this guy can’t move. Do you have a way to torment him?” Majin Buu turned to Broly, smiling.
“Tickle him,” Broly suggested, poking Majin Buu’s armpit, “This spot is really ticklish.”
However, when Broly poked him, Majin Buu suddenly felt pain in his butt.
You poked my butt with this finger before.
Majin Buu looked angrily at Broly.
“I remember now; you poked my butt,” Majin Buu said angrily, glaring at Broly.
“No worries, that’s in the past,” Broly replied, “Aren’t we allies now?”
Majin Buu thought for a moment… hmm, you have a point.
Indeed, it’s in the past.
And we’re allies now.
“Happy cooperation!” Buu extended his hand to Broly.
“Happy cooperation,” Broly nodded.
Ren exchanged a glance with Merus.
“This must be what they call ‘fighting makes friends’,” Ren mused.
“Yeah… I didn’t expect them to team up,” Merus said, feeling a bit conflicted.
“Oh dear, they’ve teamed up… but Hit and Toppo are still fighting fiercely,” Vados said calmly, watching Toppo and Hit battle.
“Then I’ll tickle him! He claims to be a god!” Majin Buu grinned, moving behind Zamasu.
“I’ll cheer you on!” Broly nodded.
Zamasu clenched his buttocks, his face darkening.
I’m a Kai!
Will I be humiliated like this?
“Hehe, I’m starting!” Majin Buu grinned, extending a finger.
Zamasu struggled more violently.
“Pop!”
Majin Buu didn’t hold back, poking Zamasu with his finger.
“Ow…”
Zamasu let out a heart-wrenching scream.
The gods watching covered their faces, speechless.
“Hey, Merus, get your contestant to eliminate Zamasu already!” Rumsshi couldn’t bear it, feeling like he was being poked himself.
You’re disgracing Universe 10!
How can you be so shameless?
Rumsshi clenched his elephant trunk, his face turning red.
“Rumsshi, gripping your trunk like that will make it hard to breathe,” Cus advised.
Rumsshi realized this and quickly let go.
“I’m Sorry about that, Rumsshi.” Merus apologized, calling out to Majin Buu. Buu, eliminate your opponent already. Stop playing around!”
Majin Buu glanced at Merus and made a face.
Merus was speechless.
“How about we play with someone else?” Broly suggested.
“Who?” Majin Buu asked, interested.
“That bearded guy claims to be an apprentice God of Destruction, similar to us,” Broly pointed at Toppo and called Majin Buu over.
Majin Buu nodded, understanding Broly’s intent.
“You mean we should eliminate that purple guy?” Majin Buu asked innocently.
“Hit’s head is special, let’s eliminate him last,” Broly shook his head.
“A special head?” Majin Buu scratched his head, confused.
“Come over, I’ll show you,” Broly led Majin Buu behind a raised stone on the arena.
Majin Buu looked down and then at Hit in the distance.
Majin Buu’s face showed surprise and sympathy.
This guy’s head is really unique.
“Got it?” Broly asked.
Majin Buu nodded vigorously, feeling more sympathy for Hit.
“Let’s eliminate the bearded guy first,” Majin Buu agreed, grinning.
…
Not far away.
Hit and Toppo continued their battle.
“Bang!”
Toppo took another hit, his nose almost being punched in by Hit.
Toppo rubbed his nose, warily watching Hit.
“I advise you to use your full strength, or I’ll eliminate you,” Hit said calmly, “Although I’m an assassin, I prefer defeating you in a fair fight.”
“Hmph, I don’t need you to tell me. I’ll use my full strength,” Toppo said seriously, “I know that if I don’t, I’ll definitely lose to you.”
Hit’s lips curled into a confident smile.
He was sure he would win even if his opponent used full strength.
I’m the strongest contestant in this tournament.
“Then I won’t hold back,” Toppo said, taking a deep breath. His body was glowing with purple-red energy.
“Toppo… is finally getting serious,” Vermoud chuckled, “Even though I didn’t see how Hit attacked, it’s unnecessary now!”
“Yes, yes,” Marcarita nodded.
“Are you ready, Hit?” Toppo took a fighting stance.
“Bring it on!” Hit kept his hands in his pockets.
“Zoom!”
Toppo charged at Hit.
“Time-Skip!”
As Toppo charged, Hit used Time-Skip again.
In an instant, Hit seemingly froze Toppo.
No, Hit’s brief time-stop made it seem like Toppo was frozen.
Though it was only 0.1 seconds.
In their
current power, even 0.1 seconds could be fatal.
Hit aimed a strike at Toppo’s chest.
But as Hit’s finger moved, he noticed Toppo twitch.
Hit’s eyes widened, surprised.
“Pop!”
To Hit’s astonishment, Toppo suddenly raised his left hand, catching Hit’s punch.
“Hmph, I finally caught you,” Toppo smirked.
Hit’s face darkened slightly.
Toppo then kneed Hit hard in the stomach.
Hit flew back, dodging Toppo’s attack.
But Toppo moved too fast, closing in with a kick.
“Bang!”
Toppo’s kick hit Hit’s stomach.
Hit’s face twisted in pain, feeling terrible.
Hit’s feet scraped the ground, leaving long marks.
When Hit finally stopped, blood trickled from his mouth.
Hit wiped the blood, his face grim.
“Your move isn’t so great. Just raise your energy to break your weird trick,” Toppo smiled lightly.
Hit snorted coldly, staying silent, his confidence waning.
Toppo was right.
If the opponent’s energy surpasses his, Hit’s Time-Skip weakens.
The time they can freeze shortens.
“Want to try again?” Toppo smiled, feeling guilty, “I underestimated you, thinking I could beat you without full power.”
“It’s over,” Vermoud said, smiling, “Seems we don’t need Jiren. Dealing with Hit is easy for Toppo. The other contestants seem unimpressive. Merus and that human angel Ren’s apprentice God of Destruction are just here for laughs.”
“Indeed, Ren and his God of Destruction are just kids,” Marcarita smiled, nodding.
“Oh? They seem to be targeting Toppo?” Vermoud noticed Broly and Majin Buu’s actions and warned Toppo, “Hey, Toppo, watch your left.”
Toppo glanced left at Vermoud’s warning.
He quickly noticed Broly and Majin Buu.
“Are you two attacking me?” Toppo laughed, “Fine, come at me together. Eliminating all three of you will showcase my true strength!”
“Zoom!”
Majin Buu charged first, punching at Toppo.
But Toppo moved faster, delivering an uppercut to Majin Buu’s chin.
Majin Buu flipped in the air and crashed to the ground.
Majin Buu rolled like a ball, colliding with the web and knocking Zamasu off.
“Ah…”
Zamasu and the web flew out of the arena.
“Pop!”
Zamasu appeared in the stands, eliminated.
Zamasu was humiliated, clenching his fists and shaking violently.
He glared at Majin Buu on the arena.
Wait and see!
One day I’ll repay this humiliation.
And that legendary Super Saiyan Broly.
You’re no better.
I won’t forgive you.
Zamasu’s eyes filled with hatred.
“Hmph, you disappoint me,” Rumsshi grumbled, “I thought you’d be useful!”
Zamasu stayed silent, clenching his fists tighter.
“Rumsshi, should we stay and watch?” Cus asked.
“No, it’s too embarrassing. Let’s go. This has nothing to do with us now,” Rumsshi shook his head, his elephant trunk swaying.
“Alright,” Cus nodded, “But… Rumsshi, please wait a moment.”
“What?” Rumsshi was puzzled.
Cus quickly appeared beside Ren.
Ren was surprised.
“Ren, are you sure you want to stay in Universe 6?” Cus asked, her long eyelashes fluttering.
“I prefer girls with ponytails,” Ren nodded.
Cus: “…”
There was a brief silence.
“There are pretty angels with twin tails over there. Don’t you want to consider it?” Cus laughed, pointing to Universe 11’s Marcarita.
“No thanks,” Ren shook his head decisively.
Vados stayed silent.
What’s there to consider?
This God of Destruction selection was predetermined.
The others are just here to accompany.
Once it’s decided, Ren and Broly will stay in Universe 18.
Only the Grand Minister and I know this.
