Dragon Ball: I Will Become an Angel As a Saiyan Chapter 129

Absorption! Majin Buu Reborn!

Absorption! Majin Buu Reborn! (Part 1)

Broly didn’t have time to counterattack as his hand, which had been gripping Mule’s neck, was suddenly forced open by an explosion of energy.

Boom!

Sidra swiftly kicked Broly in the chest, sending him flying backward. Broly’s body slammed into Majin Buu, and the two of them were thrown back together.

“Hmph, fools,” Sidra sneered, looking down at them with disdain.

However, Sidra’s expression quickly shifted, and he furrowed his brow.

“What is this armor made of? Even my destructive energy didn’t break his arm?” Sidra muttered, intrigued.

“That… that’s… this is an alloy refined from the essence of the universe!” Mule suddenly regained his composure and rasped, “It’s the finest technology of Universe 3!”

“Oh?” Sidra raised an eyebrow, surprised. “An alloy from the essence of the universe? Isn’t that your Universe 3’s tech? Where did he get it?”

“You still think he didn’t kill my son?” Mule growled, his eyes blazing with fury.

“You okay?” Sidra asked, glancing at Mule.

“I’m the strongest in Universe 3! You think someone like him could defeat me?” Mule clenched his fists. “I won’t let him get away with this.”

“I told you to use Mosco for the fight, but you didn’t listen. Now you’re paying the price,” Sidra chuckled.

Mule didn’t respond, flying straight toward Mosco.

“You’ll handle them, right?” Sidra asked with a smirk. “You, an elder God of Destruction, losing to two trainee gods—imagine the embarrassment if that got out.”

“Hmph, I’ll kill them with my own hands! I’m sure Broly’s armor is made from my son’s robot, Luke!” Mule ground his teeth in rage.

Mule quickly reached Mosco, and the hatch on Mosco’s abdomen opened with a snap. Mule entered Mosco’s body, and the hatch sealed shut.

Mosco’s body powered up, fists slamming together in a show of strength.

Roar! Mosco bellowed, his body glowing with purple-red energy as he charged toward Broly’s direction.

Meanwhile, Broly and Majin Buu were still tumbling through space. They crashed into a large uninhabited planet, the force of Sidra’s attack making Broly realize the terrifying power of his opponent.

Even with Ren’s battle armor, one kick from Sidra had sent him flying.

Broly had landed on top of Majin Buu, creating a deep indentation in the planet from the impact.

“Buu, get up!” Broly gritted his teeth, forcing himself to stand.

Majin Buu painfully reformed his body, but his recovery was slow due to the severity of his injuries.

Seeing this, Broly quickly took out a Senzu Bean and shoved it into Majin Buu’s mouth.

The moment Majin Buu ate the Senzu Bean, his body instantly returned to its original, healthy form.

“I’ll turn them into chocolate!” Majin Buu roared in anger.

“He’s coming! He’s already in Mosco,” Broly warned with a serious expression.

“Uh…” Majin Buu scratched his head in confusion.

“Buu, absorb me,” Broly made a difficult decision.

“Huh?” Majin Buu blinked, turning to stare at Broly.

“I was too naïve. I thought that Sidra wouldn’t interfere,” Broly said grimly. “With my current strength, I could take on one of them, but with the two of them working together, I don’t stand a chance.”

“Alright, absorb you and I’ll take care of them. After I beat them, I’ll release you,” Majin Buu nodded firmly.

“No, absorb me and then run,” Broly shook his head slowly.

“Run?” Majin Buu was taken aback.

“You won’t be able to defeat them, especially if they work together,” Broly said, gazing up at the sky.

In the distance, Mosco was rapidly approaching the planet, leaving a trail of purple-red energy in the sky.

“Absorb me, then run and contact Merus or Ren immediately!” Broly’s voice was low but firm.

At that moment, Broly seemed to mature, his resolve hardening.

Majin Buu nodded, his face growing serious.

“For some reason, I haven’t been able to contact Ren. There’s no signal,” Broly said, his expression darkening.

“No signal?” Majin Buu was confused.

“Ren said that no matter which universe he’s in, if we contact him through the communicator, he’ll always receive the message,” Broly said, puzzled. “I don’t know what’s going on.”

Majin Buu scratched his head but didn’t say anything.

“When you absorb me, try contacting Ren again. If not him, then reach out to Merus,” Broly suggested.

“Got it,” Majin Buu replied, eyes sharp as he looked toward the sky. “He’s coming!”

Mosco, now enveloped in a glowing purple-red aura, hurtled through space at incredible speed, heading straight toward them.

“I won’t forgive you! You both will die today!” Mosco roared in fury.

“Huh? Mosco, you can talk?” Sidra, following close behind, interjected.

Mosco went silent for a moment, realizing he had slipped up.

But it didn’t matter anymore.

“I just adjusted my voice system,” Mosco replied coldly, as he spotted Broly and Majin Buu below.

Then, to Mosco’s surprise, Majin Buu suddenly opened up his body, wrapping Broly—along with his green battle armor—inside a pink cocoon.

“What are you doing?” Mosco was momentarily confused.

In the blink of an eye, Majin Buu completely absorbed Broly.

Crack! Crack!

Majin Buu’s body began to transform, taking on a more mechanical appearance.

Majin Buu had successfully absorbed both Broly and his battle armor.

“What… what is going on?” Mosco was momentarily stunned.

Whoosh!

Immediately after absorbing Broly, Majin Buu shot an emerald-green energy blast from his hand.

The blast whizzed through the air, heading straight toward Mosco at incredible speed, forcing Mosco’s expression to shift drastically.

Mosco swung his mechanical arm in a sweeping motion.

Boom!

The mechanical arm collided with the energy blast, causing a massive explosion.

Amidst the rising dust and debris, Majin Buu slammed his hands into the ground and ripped the planet in two.

With one piece in each hand, Majin Buu hurled the chunks of the planet at Mosco.

Taking advantage of the chaos, Majin Buu turned into a green streak of light and quickly fled the scene.

Boom! Boom!

The planet split apart, and dust and debris filled the area as Mosco’s surroundings became engulfed in smoke.

“Hakai!” Mosco roared in fury, summoning destructive energy into his hand.

Bang!

With a single blow, Mosco obliterated the planet, leaving behind only empty void.

The debris and dust were swiftly sucked away into the vacuum of space.

In an instant, peace returned to this corner of the universe, as if nothing had happened.

“They merged into one? What an interesting move,” Sidra muttered thoughtfully from the sidelines.

“I won’t forgive them!” Mosco, seething with rage, flared up with purple-red energy.

“There, they ran away. Looks like they knew they couldn’t win and decided to escape,” Sidra chuckled, his smile widening.

“That’s fine. It’s easier to deal with one instead of two,” Mosco sneered coldly.

Whoosh!

Mosco wasted no time and quickly gave chase after Majin Buu, who was fleeing while occasionally launching energy blasts behind him.

Absorption! Majin Buu Reborn! (Part 2)

Universe 10, the Realm of the Supreme Kai

Let’s rewind the time to 15 minutes earlier.

In the courtyard of the Supreme Kai’s palace, Zamasu bowed respectfully toward Gowasu.

Gowasu, however, sat calmly sipping his tea, wearing a relaxed expression.

“I’m deeply sorry, Supreme Kai… I lost the match,” Zamasu’s face twisted in frustration and anger. “I wanted to return immediately, but I was too ashamed to face you… so I stayed away for a few extra days.”

“It’s alright, Zamasu. I understand you’re upset. It’s natural to want to win and achieve victory,” Gowasu responded, taking another sip of tea, seemingly unconcerned.

“But…” Zamasu said with a low voice, “I never thought I’d lose to a human…”

“Zamasu, don’t dwell on it,” Gowasu sighed. “If you are constantly stuck in the past, you’ll never grow. You must learn to move forward and take brave steps into the future!”

“Yes…” Zamasu bowed again.

While they were talking, two brilliant beams of light, as bright as stars, descended from the sky—Ren and Merus.

Gowasu blinked in surprise, as he didn’t recognize them at first. However, he quickly identified Merus by his angelic attire.

“Welcome, welcome, great Angel,” Gowasu immediately greeted them politely.

“No, no, it’s I who should be addressing you with respect as Supreme Kai,” Merus responded humbly, feeling a bit touched by the gesture.

Zamasu raised an eyebrow, confused about what Ren and Merus were doing there.

“Oh no, I should show you respect as the Angel, not the other way around,” Gowasu replied with a respectful tone.

“I’m just an apprentice Angel… Supreme Kai, there’s no need to be so formal,” Merus said, rubbing the back of his head, feeling a bit awkward. “Just call me Merus.”

“Ah… so you’re Merus,” Gowasu realized, then turned to Ren with curiosity. “And this must be the human who trained to become an Angel?”

“Hello, I’m Ren,” Ren nodded.

“It’s an honor! I never thought a human could actually train to become a true Angel. I wonder if I’ll live long enough to witness that day?” Gowasu chuckled, expressing his amazement.

“Why would you say that, Supreme Kai?” Merus asked, momentarily taken aback.

“Well, I only have a little over a thousand years left. Humans reaching the level of an Angel must be a very long and difficult journey,” Gowasu said with a sigh.

“No, the Grand Priest said it wouldn’t take more than 20 years for Ren to fully transform into a true Angel,” Merus explained with a smile.

“The Grand Priest himself said that?” Gowasu was astonished. “That’s incredible!”

Zamasu stood nearby, also in shock.

A mere human becoming a true Angel? It was beyond comprehension.

Even as a god, I feel a bit shaken by this.

“Zamasu, stop standing around and make us some fresh tea,” Gowasu instructed.

“Yes, Supreme Kai,” Zamasu immediately complied, bowing and heading off to prepare the tea.

“Merus and Ren, what brings you here to see me?” Gowasu asked, intrigued.

After all, these two were destined to become true Angels in the future. What business could they have with me?

“Well, the Grand Priest instructed us to each mentor a Supreme Kai,” Merus began to explain. “So, we came to learn from you, Supreme Kai, to prepare ourselves for training our own future Supreme Kais.”

“I see! I understand. No problem at all,” Gowasu laughed heartily and agreed without hesitation. “It just so happens that I’m also training Zamasu these days… You’ve met him before, right? He participated in the God of Destruction Tournament in Universe 18 but, unfortunately, he lost.”

“Yes, we’ve met, but we didn’t speak,” Merus responded with a smile.

At that moment, Zamasu returned, bringing fresh tea and serving it to the guests.

Merus gave Zamasu a polite nod in thanks, but Zamasu barely acknowledged Ren, his disdain for humans clear in his demeanor.

You humans should just stay human. Why do you need to become gods?

And if you insist on becoming gods, why must you aim to become the greatest in the universe?

Your ambition embarrasses even me as a god.

Zamasu handed tea to Merus but made no move to serve Ren.

Ren: “…”

Ren couldn’t help but miss Broly at that moment.

If Broly were here, he’d probably tear this guy apart.

Who do you think you’re looking down on?

A mere beating would be too easy on you. I need to come up with a way to make you truly regret this.

“Ah… Ren, please have some tea,” Gowasu suddenly noticed that Ren had no cup and quickly poured one for him, personally handing it over with both hands.

Zamasu frowned.

Supreme Kai, what are you doing?

He’s just a human.

He hasn’t even become a god yet.

Can he really transform into an Angel in just 20 years?

I don’t believe it.

“Thank you,” Ren said, suddenly feeling that Gowasu wasn’t such a bad person after all.

Gowasu, as far as Supreme Kais go, wasn’t bad. It’s just a shame that his later years would be troubled by this wayward disciple.

“If it’s not too much trouble, may Ren and I stay here for a while to learn from you, Supreme Kai?” Merus asked.

“Of course, no problem at all. It would be an honor,” Gowasu responded, full of politeness.

“Thank you very much, Supreme Kai,” Merus bowed.

“It’s no trouble at all,” Gowasu chuckled. “If you don’t mind, you could even join Zamasu in some of the lessons I’m teaching him.”

“Shall we start now?” Ren asked.

“Hahaha, eager as always, aren’t you, Ren? Very well, as soon as we finish this tea, we’ll begin,” Gowasu laughed, agreeing quickly.

Gowasu then led Ren, Merus, and Zamasu to a large room.

This room was about the size of a stadium, with numerous floating crystal spheres scattered throughout.

Each crystal sphere displayed images of different planets within Universe 10.

These were planets where life had recently emerged.

The spheres floated around the room in no particular order, slowly rotating as they hovered.

“These crystal spheres allow us to observe the entire universe. Whenever life emerges on a planet, the sphere will display the planet automatically and provide detailed information,” Gowasu explained with excitement as he led them to one of the spheres.

Ren glanced at the sphere and saw it displayed a lush green planet covered in forests, with towering cliffs in the background.

“This is Planet Babari! Amazing, the people on this planet have already evolved to this level!” Gowasu exclaimed, his face lighting up with joy as he eagerly observed the images.

Bang!

Suddenly, one of the humans in the image grabbed a large wooden stake and smashed it over another human’s head.

The sudden act of violence startled Gowasu, who took a step back in shock.

Merus quickly reached out to steady Gowasu and asked, “Are you alright, Supreme Kai?”

After crossing into the world of Dragon Ball, Ren became a Saiyan of Planet Vegeta. At the start, he traded a simple starchy sausage made of technology and hard work for Whis's simplified version of Ultra Instinct. Unexpectedly, he ended up cultivating the power of an angel.

From then on, Ren strived to become an angel.

Years later.

All the gods sat together at one table during the 88th convention of the Universe's Gods of Destruction, Supreme Kais, and apprentice angels.

Beerus suddenly stood up: "Ren, stand up for a moment."

Ren: "????"

Beerus: "Just stand up, it'll be quick."

Ren stood up, puzzled.

Beerus: "I wanted to say that everyone here is trash!"

Ren: "Beerus, sit down. I want to join in too."

Beerus: "You're an angel, why do you want to join?"
