Dragon Ball: I Will Become an Angel As a Saiyan Chapter 137

Zeno: Shall We Erase Those Two Universes?

Zeno: Shall We Erase Those Two Universes? (Part 1)

“Oh dear, I just remembered, I haven’t finished the delicious food at Bulma’s house… I’ll come back after I’m done eating,” said Vados, quickly flashing away from the protective barrier.

“Like Ren said, ‘Even birds of a feather fly away when danger strikes!'” Broly snorted. “You’re not allowed to enter the barrier again!”

Vados was left speechless for a moment.

Well, he’ll recover eventually.

Whether you’re here or not doesn’t matter.

He’s currently gathering the essence of the universe and is about to transform into a true Angel.

All surrounding damage is immune!

There’s not much point in staying here.

Without explaining further to Broly, Vados yawned and waved to Merus. “Merus, I’m leaving. You should head back as well. Based on the current situation, his transformation into a true Angel will take at least 24 years.”

“Grand Priest scheduled the Kai assessment in 30 years… and Ren’s transformation will take 24 years…” Merus wiped the sweat from his brow.

“Isn’t that perfect? You can spend the next 24 years training Jiren,” Vados smiled.

“No way, I won’t cheat! I want to win fair and square!” Merus suddenly regained his confidence.

Without me doing much, Buu already grew to God of Destruction level.

Looks like choosing Buu wasn’t a bad idea after all.

“So, what are you going to do? Wait for Ren to recover?” Vados asked.

“I’m not waiting… that’s too long. I’ll head back to the Galactic Patrol Headquarters and resume my duties there,” Merus decided after some thought.

“I think that’s a good idea. Return to the Galactic Patrol for more training,” Vados nodded. “When Ren finally transforms into a true Angel, his Angel power purity might reach at least 50.”

“Only 50? Didn’t he already raise it to 30 in just one year?” Merus was surprised.

“It’s different. Before, he was pushing the limits of his mortal body, and 30 was likely his maximum, as mortal bodies can’t handle much Angel power,” Vados explained. “After he transforms, he could easily surpass you, so you’d better keep training hard.”

Merus smiled bitterly, feeling a mountain of pressure, and nodded gravely.

Afterward, Merus turned toward Majin Buu and called out, “We’re leaving, Buu!”

Majin Buu glanced at Merus but didn’t respond.

“Buu, what’s wrong?” Merus asked, puzzled.

“I’m not leaving. I’m staying here with him!” Buu stubbornly shook his head and pointed at Broly.

“Do you even know how long 24 years is?” Merus asked, annoyed.

“I’ll stay with him! Not leaving!” Buu shook his head even more determinedly.

Merus: “…”

“Think it over. There’s nothing to eat here!” Merus warned. “This is space, don’t you want to eat delicious things?”

“Keep nagging, and I’ll turn you into chocolate!” Buu huffed.

Merus’s nose tingled, and he almost cried.

After all my effort in training a God of Destruction, now he’s siding with Ren?

Did I train him for their sake?

Smack!

Merus raised his hand and summoned a communicator, tossing it to Majin Buu.

Thud!

Buu didn’t bother catching it, and the communicator hit him squarely in the face.

Merus: “…”

“Did you do that on purpose?” Buu asked coldly.

“It’s a communicator. Use it to contact me if you change your mind,” Merus said, leaving behind those words before disappearing into a streak of light.

Now, only Majin Buu and Broly remained.

Majin Buu picked up the communicator and watched Broly from outside the protective barrier, slowly flying closer.

As he neared the edge of the barrier, Broly glared at him coldly, eyes locked on him.

Majin Buu immediately stopped, whistling nonchalantly as if nothing had happened.

Broly ignored him.

Majin Buu then sneakily extended one foot into the barrier.

Zing!

A flash of emerald light shot toward him.

In an instant, Majin Buu’s foot vanished.

“Buu! Don’t test my patience!” Broly growled.

Majin Buu rubbed the foot that had been knocked off and quickly regenerated it, looking at Broly with a sense of grievance. “We’re on the same team. You don’t have to treat me like this.”

Broly didn’t respond, standing guard over the gathering light particles of Ren, not moving an inch.

Universe 9, Supreme Kai’s World

After returning, Supreme Kai Roh found himself thinking of the robot, No. 7.

What a remarkable robot, so lifelike.

I really hope the God of Destruction from Universe 3 can make one like that for me.

As Roh thought this, the woman in his arms suddenly seemed less appealing.

Maybe her eyes weren’t right, or maybe her lips were off—compared to No. 7, she fell short.

That robot had been built with absolute perfection, following the golden ratio.

When will Universe 3’s God of Destruction gift me such a robot?

“Supreme Kai, your body…” the woman in his arms gasped.

“Strong, right? I am a god, after all!” Roh grinned proudly.

“But why is your body turning transparent?” the woman asked, surprised. “Is it… because this moment is ending?”

Roh looked down at himself and indeed saw that his body was becoming transparent.

Roh was confused.

What’s going on?

A few seconds later, Roh completely faded away, vanishing like smoke.

“Supreme Kai, this isn’t a funny joke!” the woman screamed, her face pale with terror.

Universe 7, Beerus’ Planet

The Oracle Fish was sound asleep.

Noticing this, Whis’s expression grew serious.

When the Oracle Fish finally woke up, blowing a bubble, Whis stepped forward and asked, “Oracle Fish, you’ve been napping quite a bit lately. Is something major about to happen?”

“Yes, I predict that the strongest God of Destruction will soon emerge, and it’s not Lord Beerus,” the Oracle Fish replied, nodding.

“The strongest God of Destruction… who will it be?” Whis mused.

“I have another prophecy,” the Oracle Fish added.

“What is it?” Whis asked.

“A new Angel will be born soon, becoming the greatest god in the universe,” the Oracle Fish said, sighing.

“Oh my, you predicted that last time, and it’s already coming true?” Whis gazed into the distant stars. “I wonder if the Grand Priest will have a headache over this.”

“Probably,” the Oracle Fish responded simply, looking in the same direction as Whis.

Zeno’s Palace

The Grand Priest’s eyes seemed to penetrate all things as he observed the entire universe. His face remained neutral, with a faint smile as though everything was under his control.

“Hey, Grand Priest, let’s go play!” Zeno ran up excitedly, greeting the Grand Priest.

“Of course, Lord Zeno,” the Grand Priest nodded, turning to follow, but glancing back several times.

Zeno noticed this and asked curiously, “What’s wrong?”

“Ren has disappeared,” the Grand Priest replied.

“Ren? That human Angel?” Zeno asked.

“Yes,” the Grand Priest confirmed.

“How did he disappear? Was he killed?” Zeno asked, puzzled.

“No, he made himself disappear,” the Grand Priest explained.

Zeno: “???”

“He’s transforming into a true Angel,” the Grand Priest said with an odd smile.

“Oh?” Zeno was surprised. “Is he really going to become an Angel?”

“Yes,” the Grand Priest nodded again. “The Angel race will gain a new member.”

“Maybe I’ll try erasing him,” Zeno mused, looking at his hands thoughtfully.

The two guards nearby shifted nervously, their expressions darkening.

The Grand Priest: “…”

“Lord Zeno has learned to make jokes…” the Grand Priest wiped his brow.

“Hehe,” Zeno giggled.

“But the real problem right now is that both Universe 9 and Universe 3 have lost their Gods of Destruction and Supreme Kais. We’ll need to appoint new ones,” the Grand Priest sighed.

“Why not just erase them? That’d be easier,” Zeno suggested.

The Grand Priest fell silent.

Zeno: Shall We Erase Those Two Universes? (Part 2)

A moment of quiet passed.

“Do you really want to erase those two universes?” the Grand Priest asked.

“Hey, how’s Universe 18, the one that just got restored?” Zeno changed the subject.

“That’s also been a bit of a headache…” the Grand Priest sighed.

We finally sent a human Angel and an apprentice God of Destruction there.

Now the human Angel is undergoing transformation.

And the apprentice God of Destruction is guarding Ren, refusing to leave.

“Exquisite will probably feel quite lonely over the next 24 years…” the Grand Priest mused.

Universe 18, on a pristine white planet

Exquisite stood on the surface of the planet, her delicate hands gripping a staff. She gazed up at the sky, speechless and overwhelmed.

Grand Priest, where is the apprentice Angel you promised me?

He just vanished?

Am I supposed to wait alone here for the next 20+ years to slowly restore the universe?

The Grand Priest really isn’t reliable.

Otherwise, why would the Grand Ministeress have left him?

By now, that human Angel has probably transformed into a true Angel, and my Universe 18 hasn’t changed much at all.

And… that human Angel only received a tiny bit of my Angel power.

So, where did the rest of his Angel power come from?

Did he cultivate it himself?

Exquisite was deep in thought.

As she pondered, her body gradually dissipated, transforming into countless brilliant particles, merging with the white planet.

Exquisite was still unable to maintain her physical form for long periods.

She could only last two hours at most each day.

Today, those two hours had already passed.

This was the most torturous period of time for Exquisite.

The white planet was spotless, devoid of anything.

When she looked up, she couldn’t even see the stars, only an endless void.

Universe 6, Earth.

At the Capsule Corporation headquarters.

Vados had returned to Bulma’s house in an instant, using Supreme Kai Fuwa’s Instant Transmission, resuming her carefree eating and drinking.

“Hey, Blue Elf, back so soon?” Bulma asked, her bright eyes twinkling as she looked at Vados.

“Yes, yes,” Vados said, enjoying her food happily.

To Bulma, Vados had only been gone for two or three minutes, about the time it would take to use the bathroom.

“Did you go to the bathroom?” Bulma tilted her head, examining Vados curiously. “Do you have to leave Earth just to use the bathroom?”

“I don’t need to use the bathroom. I never do,” Vados said with a soft smile.

“You don’t poop?” Bulma asked in surprise.

Vados: “…”

Well, it’s true, but that’s not the most elegant way to ask.

“Wow, amazing! I guess fairies really don’t poop,” Bulma mused, pouting like a little adult.

As they were talking, Dr. Briefs rode over on his bicycle from the other room.

“Hello, Vados. Something strange has happened, could you help me analyze it?” Dr. Briefs stopped his bike, supporting it with one foot as he adjusted his glasses, looking a bit perplexed.

“What’s the strange occurrence, Doctor? Please tell me,” Vados asked with a smile.

“Well, for some time now, we’ve completely lost contact with my daughter, Tights,” Dr. Briefs explained, pushing his glasses up again. “She’s been traveling with the Galactic Patrol… you know about the Galactic Patrol, right?”

“Yes, my brother is also with the Galactic Patrol,” Vados nodded.

“That’s great! Can you get in touch with your brother?” Dr. Briefs asked eagerly, his face lighting up with hope.

“The reason you’ve lost contact with Miss Tights is because you’re not in the same universe anymore,” Vados explained.

“Not in the same universe? What do you mean?” Dr. Briefs was momentarily stunned, unable to grasp the situation.

Bulma also widened her bright eyes, staring at Vados without blinking.

“You see, we are currently in Universe 6, but Earth used to be in Universe 7. Due to some special circumstances, the Earths of these two universes have switched places,” Vados explained.

Dr. Briefs’s eyes widened in shock.

Bulma scratched her head, starting to feel confused.

“Does this mean the world is ending because the two Earths swapped?” Bulma asked, her face turning pale with fear.

“No, no, it won’t end,” Vados reassured her with a smile.

“Where’s Ren? Why didn’t he come back with you?” Bulma asked.

“Ren probably won’t be returning anytime soon,” Vados replied, looking up at the stars.

“What do you mean he won’t be back?” Bulma asked curiously.

“He’s on the verge of transforming into a true Angel,” Vados answered with a smile.

“Huh? Will he turn blue? That sounds awful… I don’t want Ren to become a Blue Elf!” Bulma shuddered.

Vados: “…”

How polite of you.

“No, he’ll likely retain his original appearance,” Vados reassured her.

“Ren finally got what he wanted? That’s wonderful, I’m so happy for him,” Dr. Briefs said with a smile, adjusting his glasses.

“How long will it take?” Bulma asked again.

“At least 24 years,” Vados said thoughtfully.

“What? 24 years?!” Bulma cried out, “By then I’ll be a 30-year-old old woman!”

“I’ve been alive for several billion years,” Vados replied calmly.

Bulma fell silent.

“Miss Vados, how can I contact my daughter?” Dr. Briefs asked, wiping the sweat from his brow. They had drifted off topic again.

“Use this,” Vados handed him a communicator. “I’ll ask my brother to get another communicator for Miss Tights, and you’ll be able to talk to her.”

“Thank you so much!” Dr. Briefs quickly expressed his gratitude.

“No, no, I should be thanking you for the delicious food,” Vados replied with a smile.

Universe 7, Galactic Patrol Headquarters.

Two days later, Merus returned to his quarters and quickly changed from his Angel attire into his Galactic Patrol uniform.

He opened the door and walked out.

“Officer Merus? When did you get back?” a curious patrol officer asked.

“I got back last night, it was pretty late, so I didn’t greet everyone,” Merus smiled politely, then asked, “Has anything major happened while I was away?”

“Nothing too significant, except one strange thing we haven’t figured out yet,” the officer scratched his head.

“What strange thing?” Merus asked.

“Well, Earth suddenly turned into a dead star, without any warning! And according to our scans, it’s been dead for about 300 years. Apparently, the cause was humans using an outdated weapon called a nuclear bomb! But as far as we know, Earth got rid of all its nuclear weapons over 200 years ago with advanced technology. And Miss Tights’s parents are still on Earth…” the officer explained.

Merus: “…”

That’s because Ren swapped the Earths between two universes.

How do I explain that?

Forget it, I’ll just pretend I don’t know.

At that moment, Vados contacted Merus via her staff.

Merus found a secluded place and began his conversation with Vados.

She informed him about the communicator situation, and Merus didn’t object. Since Vados had decided, he would follow through.

Afterward, Merus located Tights and handed her a communicator.

Tights immediately used it to get in touch with her family.

Hearing her parents’ and sister’s voices brought tears to her eyes.

“Can’t we do video calls?” Tights asked, looking disappointed.

Merus shook his head.

You’re asking for too much.

Through her parents, Tights learned that Earth had been moved to a different universe.

The news quickly spread throughout the Galactic Patrol Headquarters.

Now, everyone knew that Earth had been moved to another universe.

“But how can I get home? Can a spaceship fly to Universe 6?” Tights asked Merus.

“That… probably not…” Merus replied, shaking his head slowly.

Tights: “…”

Zeno: Shall We Erase Those Two Universes? (Part 3)

Universe 9, Outer Space.

Broly neither ate nor drank, remaining steadfast beside Ren, protecting him from harm.

Although there was no rain or wind in space, meteors occasionally flew by.

Sometimes, even distant stars would drift near.

Broly destroyed anything that appeared inside the protective barrier, ensuring that Ren remained completely unharmed.

Majin Buu hadn’t left either, circling outside the barrier.

Day by day passed.

A year quickly went by.

After a year of effort, Majin Buu was finally able to step inside the barrier.

However, he could only get within 100 meters of Ren.

Any closer, and Broly wouldn’t allow it.

Broly now seemed capable of surviving without food.

Perhaps that battle from a year ago had caused a fundamental change in his body.

“Hey, Broly, I’m hungry,” Buu patted his belly. “I haven’t eaten anything in a year.”

“If you’re hungry, you should leave,” Broly replied coldly.

“Don’t say that! I’ve stayed with you for a whole year, and now you want me to leave!” Buu grumbled. “The more you want me to go, the more I’ll stay!”

Broly didn’t respond, keeping his gaze fixed on Ren’s gathering light.

After a year of accumulation, Ren’s body had condensed into a glowing point about the size of a baseball.

The light was bright and dazzling, more brilliant than before.

If one looked closely, countless radiant points of light were converging toward the barrier.

These shimmering lights passed through Broly’s barrier without any obstruction.

It was as if Broly’s barrier had no effect on them.

The lights fused with Ren’s body, slowly restoring it.

“A year has passed, and he’s only grown this much,” Buu sighed.

Broly remained silent, his eyes fixed on the glowing point.

“Well, I’m going to take a nap,” Buu said, dropping down to sleep in the middle of space without a care in the world.

As he slept, Buu’s body accidentally slid within 100 meters of Ren.

Wham!

Broly waved his hand, sending Majin Buu flying.

Buu rolled over, scratched his head, and continued sleeping.

Universe 6, Earth

“Blue Elf, you promised me last time that after a year, you would connect the Earths of both universes,” Bulma said to Vados, who was freeloading food at her house again.

“Alright, alright, since I promised, it’s time to make good on it…” Vados sighed reluctantly.

After all, it’s hard to refuse someone when you’re eating their food.

With that, Vados set out on a journey to find the Super Dragon Balls.

Fortunately, with the help of the Super Dragon Radar, Vados was able to easily locate the Super Dragon Balls scattered between Universe 6 and Universe 7.

Soon, all seven Super Dragon Balls were gathered.

Vados summoned Super Shenron and wished for a one-way connection between the Earths of both universes.

The wish was granted.

In the sky above Earth in Universe 7, a massive vortex suddenly appeared.

Through this vortex, one could be instantly transported to Earth in Universe 6.

However, there was no way to return.

Two days later…

Jaco, piloting his spaceship, brought Tights through the vortex.

Whoosh!

In just a moment, Jaco’s spaceship had crossed from Earth in Universe 7 to Earth in Universe 6.

Seeing the familiar planet, Tights felt as if she had been gone for ages.

Successfully returning home, Tights finally reunited with her parents and sister.

Day after day, year after year.

Another 11 years passed in the blink of an eye.

A.D. 749, Earth time

On the rugged mountain roads of Mount Paozu, a green jeep slowly made its way up the path.

The vehicle stopped, and Bulma, with her long legs, stepped out of the car to stretch and check her Dragon Radar.

Wearing jeans, a short-sleeve t-shirt, and a ponytail, her figure was striking.

“It should be around here, maybe a bit more to the west…” Bulma muttered to herself.

She then got back into the jeep.

“Hmph, you jerk Ren, you promised to take me out for a trip, and now I’m already 16 and you still haven’t come back!” Bulma pouted, feeling frustrated. “This time, I’m going to find the Dragon Balls and have Shenron bring you back!”

The car started again, heading up the mountain road.

Still muttering to herself in the car, Bulma continued, “Stupid Ren! You don’t keep your word! Do you think I can’t bring you back? Shenron can grant any wish! Have you forgotten about me? Are you really about to become an Angel?”

As she spoke, Bulma shivered involuntarily.

I really don’t want you to turn into a blue-skinned elf.

That skin color is awful.

Look how fair my skin is.

“That Blue Elf hasn’t visited our house in a long time…” Bulma sighed softly. “Did she stop coming because she got tired of eating our food?”

I will find you, Ren.

I’ll collect all the Dragon Balls again!

A few minutes later…

Suddenly, Bulma saw a strange giant fish in the middle of the road, causing her to panic. She immediately slammed on the brakes.

The car swerved around the fish, scaring Bulma so much that she broke into a cold sweat.

She quickly noticed Goku, who was dragging the giant fish along, and opened the sunroof, sticking her head out to shout at him, “You scared me to death! That was so dangerous! Why are you walking in the middle of the road?”

Goku was startled as well. Seeing the jeep, he thought it was some kind of monster.

“You monster! Are you trying to steal my fish?” Goku shouted angrily and dove under the car, lifting it with both hands.

Bulma was stunned, her face pale with shock.

“Take this!” Goku shouted, tossing the car far away.

The car crashed to the ground, leaving Bulma dizzy.

Bulma quickly pulled out a gun, stuck her head out of the car, and aimed at Goku.

“A monster… and now there’s a little demon coming out of it!” Goku said, holding his Power Pole in surprise.

Bang!

Without hesitation, Bulma fired a shot, hitting Goku square in the head.

Goku yelped in pain.

What kind of magic is this?

“Now you’re scared, huh? If I had my older gun, you’d be dead by now,” Bulma huffed. “But you’ve got a pretty hard head… you didn’t die from a regular bullet.”

“Take this stick! I’ll fight you!” Goku raised his Power Pole.

“Wait a minute!” Bulma’s eyes widened as she suddenly noticed the tail behind Goku. “Your tail!”

“Monster!” Goku shouted fiercely.

“I’m not a monster; I’m human!” Bulma retorted irritably as she stepped out of the car.

“Human? But you look different from me,” Goku observed, scrutinizing Bulma.

“Of course, I’m a girl,” Bulma huffed. “You’re a Saiyan, right?”

“A what?” Goku scratched his head.

“Your tail is proof enough,” Bulma pointed at Goku’s tail.

“Uh… but you don’t have a tail?” Goku finally noticed that Bulma didn’t have one.

“Do you know Ren?” Bulma asked.

“Who?” Goku looked confused and pointed at the car. “What’s that monster? Did you catch it?”

“You’re such an idiot. That’s a car, not a monster,” Bulma said.

“So, this is a car? I’ve heard of them,” Goku said, jumping onto the car and stomping on it a few times. “Looks good, but it’s not very sturdy.”

Then, Goku jumped down and stood across from Bulma.

“You don’t know Ren? Then are you a Saiyan?” Bulma asked again.

“What’s a Saiyan? Can you eat it?” Goku scratched his head.

Bulma sighed, too frustrated to respond.

“Are you from the city?” Goku asked, looking at Bulma.

“Yes, I’m from West City,” Bulma nodded.

“You said you’re a girl?” Goku asked, inspecting Bulma from head to toe again.

“You’ve never seen a girl before?” Bulma shot back.

“Nope, but since you’re a girl, I’ll share my fish with you!” Goku offered, pointing at the giant fish he had caught.

Bulma thought for a moment and decided to follow Goku.

Maybe through him, she could find a lead on Ren’s whereabouts.

That annoying Blue Elf only told her that it would take Ren 24 years to fully transform into an Angel.

But she didn’t tell her where he was.

I will find you, Ren.

It’s only been 11 years.

If what the Blue Elf said is true, do I still have to wait another 13 years to meet Ren?

By then, I’ll be a 29-year-old old lady.

Bulma followed Goku to a small house on the mountain.

“Grandpa, look! A girl came to our house,” Goku said, smiling as he looked at the Four-Star Dragon Ball on the table.

Status: OngoingType: Author: Released: 2023

After crossing into the world of Dragon Ball, Ren became a Saiyan of Planet Vegeta. At the start, he traded a simple starchy sausage made of technology and hard work for Whis's simplified version of Ultra Instinct. Unexpectedly, he ended up cultivating the power of an angel.

From then on, Ren strived to become an angel.

Years later.

All the gods sat together at one table during the 88th convention of the Universe's Gods of Destruction, Supreme Kais, and apprentice angels.

Beerus suddenly stood up: "Ren, stand up for a moment."

Ren: "????"

Beerus: "Just stand up, it'll be quick."

Ren stood up, puzzled.

Beerus: "I wanted to say that everyone here is trash!"

Ren: "Beerus, sit down. I want to join in too."

Beerus: "You're an angel, why do you want to join?"
