Zeno: Find Some Time to Meet Ren (Part 1)
…
“It’s nothing important… no need to answer,” the Grand Priest replied with a smile.
That boy is getting more and more outrageous.
He just grew up, and now he wants to marry my daughter? How naive!
I won’t answer his call!
And I definitely won’t agree to this marriage!
Let him figure it out on his own.
“Hey, Grand Priest, I heard he’s become a full-fledged angel now?” Zeno asked curiously.
“Yes, Lord Zeno,” the Grand Priest nodded.
“Find some time to meet him,” Zeno said after thinking for a moment.
“Would you like me to have Ren come to greet you now?” the Grand Priest asked.
“No, not now. I’m going to play!” Zeno replied and dashed off quickly.
…
Universe 6, Earth
Kame House
As Raditz suddenly descended, everyone, including Goku, looked shocked.
Raditz remained calm, a slight smile forming on his face as he looked at Goku. “Kakarot, you’ve grown up. I recognized you at a glance—you look just like our father.”
“Huh?” Goku looked confused.
“Who is this guy? What’s he talking about?” Krillin asked, scratching his head.
Bulma’s bright eyes gleamed with curiosity.
That outfit looks very similar to what Ren and Broly wore back then.
And he called Goku “Kakarot.”
Could he be one of Ren’s kin?
“Kakarot, what’s the situation on this planet? Wasn’t your mission to eliminate all the Earthlings? What are you stalling for?” Raditz’s tone grew cold.
“Hey, I don’t know who you are, but you should probably head home. Drinking this much in broad daylight isn’t good for you. Go home and have some sobering tea,” Krillin said as he casually walked towards Raditz, waving his hand with a smile.
“Krillin, don’t go near him!” Goku shouted in alarm.
Bang!
Raditz’s tail whipped out from his waist like a whip, striking Krillin hard across the face.
Krillin’s face contorted from the impact, and he was sent flying, crashing into the wooden house behind them.
“Krillin!” Goku was both shocked and angry.
“Ow…” Krillin groaned in pain.
Seeing that Krillin wasn’t in any life-threatening danger, Goku breathed a slight sigh of relief.
But immediately afterward, Goku’s eyes widened as he stared in astonishment at Raditz’s tail.
Master Roshi also tensed up, memories flashing back of when Broly had grabbed his shell and swung him around, causing him to shiver.
“A tail…” Goku’s expression shifted dramatically.
“Hmph, you finally recognized it,” Raditz chuckled lightly.
“Is… is he the ‘Ren’ you mentioned, Bulma?” Goku asked, turning to her.
Bulma: “…”
“He’s not Ren!” Bulma shook her head quickly. “Ren is way more handsome than him.”
“You… you know Ren?” Raditz was taken aback, his expression shifting dramatically.
“Of course,” Bulma said proudly.
“Where… where is he?” Raditz looked around.
“I don’t know!” Bulma huffed, now feeling anxious. “He’s one of your kin, right? Isn’t he with you? Didn’t he say he was going to become a ‘blue creature’? Did you come here to tell me where Ren is?”
Krillin: “…”
Can’t you see I’m still lying here in pain?
Bulma, you’re being too much.
Can you stop bringing up that guy Ren every time you open your mouth?
How obsessed are you?
“So, Ren isn’t here after all?” Raditz let out a small sigh of relief and asked, “What about Broly? Is he not here either?”
“You… you don’t know where they are?” Bulma suddenly grew more cautious.
“No idea,” Raditz replied with a smirk.
“Don’t be too happy just yet. If you cause any trouble, Ren will come back and deal with you!” Bulma said with a huff.
“Is that so? But you can’t even find him, right? Go ahead, have him come back,” Raditz laughed even more brightly.
Bulma grew silent, her unease growing.
“Let’s get back to the matter at hand, Kakarot. Do you really not remember me?” Raditz asked, looking at Goku. “Did you hit your head and lose your memory at some point?”
“My name isn’t Kakarot. It’s Son Goku!” Goku insisted.
“Answer my question! Did you lose your memory or not?” Raditz demanded.
“I don’t remember clearly, but when I was little, I did hit my head and got hurt,” Goku admitted, pointing to a scar on his head. “There’s still a scar here.”
“As I thought,” Raditz muttered.
“And? What does that matter?” Goku asked, confused.
“Goku, a long time ago, your Grandpa Gohan told me that he found a child with a tail—a child who was uncontrollably wild and violent. He didn’t know what to do with him. Then, one day, the child accidentally fell off a cliff and seriously injured his head. He nearly died. But thanks to his extraordinary vitality, he survived,” Master Roshi explained with a sigh, turning to Goku. “After that, the child’s wild nature disappeared, and he became a kind and obedient boy.”
“Was that me?” Goku asked.
Master Roshi nodded.
“I think Ren mentioned this before… but I never connected it to Goku,” Bulma suddenly recalled.
“Ren? Did I meet him back then?” Goku scratched his head.
“You probably met him before you lost your memory. After falling off the cliff, you must have forgotten him,” Bulma speculated before turning to Raditz. “Since you’re one of Ren’s and Goku’s kin, what are you doing here?”
“Who exactly are you?” Goku clenched his fists.
“Hmph, didn’t Ren tell you about Kakarot’s true mission?” Raditz sneered.
“What mission? Ren said your planet had problems, and that Goku was sent here to seek refuge,” Bulma replied.
“How naive of you!” Raditz chuckled. “Alright, let me tell you the truth. First, let me introduce myself: I am Raditz, Kakarot’s older brother! We were both born on Planet Vegeta, and we belong to the Saiyan race—the mightiest warrior race in the universe!”
Goku and the others were once again shocked by Raditz’s words.
They weren’t shocked about the Saiyan race since Bulma had mentioned it before.
What stunned them was the revelation that Raditz was Goku’s older brother.
“Is he really Goku’s biological brother?” Krillin asked, still getting up from the ground, surprised.
“Are they really blood-related?” Bulma pouted.
“Kakarot was sent to Earth with the mission of eliminating all of its inhabitants!” Raditz explained with a smile. “The Saiyans are a warrior race. Didn’t Ren tell you? Our job is to find suitable planets, wipe out the inhabitants, and then sell the planet at a high price to other aliens, like the Sita Organization.”
Bulma didn’t say anything. Ren had not said anything like that.
But a certain figure flashed in Bulma’s mind—Jaco, the Galactic Patrolman.
Bulma recalled that Jaco had come to Earth to prevent a Saiyan invasion.
In the end, Jaco had been beaten up badly by Broly.
Now that she thought about it, maybe Goku’s brother was telling the truth.
However, Bulma still felt that Ren and Broly didn’t seem like bad people.
And Goku had saved Earth several times before.
“If the inhabitants of a planet are strong, we send adult warriors to destroy them. But for low-level planets like Earth, we just send a baby like Kakarot. With time, he would have wiped out all the Earthlings,” Raditz continued, chuckling. “There’s even a moon here to help him. Kakarot, have you really forgotten your mission?”
“If that’s true, then it’s terrifying,” Krillin muttered, beads of cold sweat forming on his forehead.
“Hey, what does the moon have to do with me?” Goku asked, confused.
“Don’t play dumb. Don’t you know that when the moon is full, that’s when we Saiyans show our true power?” Raditz said with a smile.
Bulma, Master Roshi, and Krillin were all stunned.

Zeno: Find Some Time to Meet Ren (Part 2)
…
“Explain what you mean. I don’t know what you’re talking about,” Goku shook his head.
“Where’s your tail? What happened to it?” Raditz’s eyes flickered as he noticed Goku’s missing tail.
“It wasn’t really useful, so I got rid of it,” Goku replied truthfully.
“You fool! No wonder you’ve gotten along with the people of this planet!” Raditz shouted angrily.
“Enough! Everything you’re saying has nothing to do with me! I was raised on Earth, and I’m Son Goku. Leave now! You’re not welcome here!” Goku firmly rejected him.
“Yes… no matter what happened in the past, Goku is now an Earthling,” Master Roshi agreed.
“And Goku has saved Earth multiple times. You should leave,” Krillin added.
“Hmph, things aren’t as simple as you think. Did Ren ever tell you that Planet Vegeta was destroyed by a meteor long ago?
Most Saiyans, including our parents, died in the explosion,” Raditz said with a smirk. “Counting Ren and Broly, there are less than ten Saiyans left. Even though your Earth is well hidden, I still managed to find it. Your luck has run out!”
Goku fell silent.
“Putting Ren and Broly aside, recently, along with two other comrades, I found a planet we can sell for a high price. However, the three of us attacking it would be difficult, so I thought of you, Kakarot. While your battle power may not be fully developed, if we combine our strength, we will succeed,” Raditz said with a smile, suddenly raising his voice. “Awaken, Kakarot! You should feel excitement! The Saiyan blood in you is boiling, isn’t it?”
“Stop dreaming. There’s no way I will help you!” Goku shook his head and rejected the offer without hesitation.
“I’ve noticed something earlier—this little brat behind you, he’s your son, right?” Raditz asked with a smirk.
“N-No!” Goku stammered, shocked.
Gohan, terrified, ran into Krillin’s arms.
“Don’t lie! That tail of his is clear proof. Isn’t that the mark of Saiyan blood?” Raditz chuckled.
“What… what are you planning?” Goku’s expression darkened.
“You, as a father, are unreasonable. So, I’ll take your son instead,” Raditz sneered, stepping closer to Goku. “How fortunate that Ren and Broly aren’t here. But even if they were, they’re our kin, and they would never help you.”
“You’re wrong! Ren isn’t a bad person! He’s going to become the greatest god in the universe! He’s nothing like you!” Bulma shouted.
“Say whatever you like,” Raditz ignored her, continuing to approach Goku.
“If you take one more step, I won’t hold back!” Goku warned, his teeth clenched.
Bam!
With a cold laugh, Raditz drove his knee into Goku’s stomach.
Goku was sent flying into the air before crashing to the ground, clutching his stomach and groaning in pain.
Smack!
Raditz grabbed Gohan by his ponytail.
“Dad!” Gohan cried out in terror, bursting into tears.
Master Roshi raised his staff but lacked the courage to strike. Krillin trembled, trying to appear ready to attack, but his legs shook violently, and he couldn’t move.
“Waaah!” Gohan wailed, tears streaming down his face.
“Kakarot, I’ll keep this child for now. If you want him back alive, you’ll listen to your older brother,” Raditz said, lifting Gohan as if he were a toy, grinning at Goku. “I’ll give you one day to think it over. Tomorrow, I want proof of your loyalty! It’s simple—kill 100 people on this planet by this time tomorrow and pile their bodies on this island. Understood? I really don’t want to kill my little brother’s child.”
Goku lay on the ground, feeling like his entire body was falling apart.
He’s too strong.
“And don’t think that calling Ren will save you! Don’t forget, he’s also one of us—he’s a Saiyan from the warrior race!” Raditz sneered.
Krillin and Master Roshi trembled in fear.
Bulma was also terrified, unable to say a word.
“And just so you know, Ren once said, Kakarot, that you would become Prince Vegeta’s greatest rival,” Raditz sighed. “But you can’t even defeat me. With your level of power, you’ll never become Prince Vegeta’s rival! It’s laughable! Ren isn’t as great as you think!”
With that, Raditz slowly lifted into the air, holding Gohan.
“And by the way, your luck ends here. Once we conquer that planet, Earth is next!” Raditz grinned, hovering above them. “It will only take the three of us a month to wipe out everyone on this planet! Killing 100 people now won’t make a difference. Reflect on your choices—you have no other option but to join me!”
“You… give me back my son!” Goku shouted, struggling to rise from the ground.
“I’ll be waiting for your answer,” Raditz said before flying off.
“Waaah! Dad!” Gohan cried out, his voice fading as Raditz flew away.
“Gohan!” Goku yelled, his heart breaking as his son’s cries echoed in the distance.
“Hahaha!” Raditz’s maniacal laughter echoed from afar.
“That bastard!” Goku groaned in helpless frustration, forced to watch his son being taken away by his own brother.
“Are you okay, Goku?” Bulma asked with concern. “I never thought that Ren’s kin would be so rude… Ren and Broly were always nice. Broly was a bit simple, but he never did anything bad.”
Master Roshi: “…”
He swung me around by my shell, and you call that not doing anything bad?
I regret ever telling you that personal story.
“We’re sorry we couldn’t help…” Krillin said, feeling guilty.
“Flying Nimbus!” Goku called out loudly.
“Wait! Don’t rush into things! You’ll be killed!” Master Roshi quickly tried to stop him.
“Can you defeat him right now?” Krillin also asked, concerned.
Goku sat on the ground, shaking his head in despair. “Then what am I supposed to do?”
“Think it over carefully…” Master Roshi said, pondering the situation.
“It’s so frustrating. You finally find your family, and they turn out like this,” Bulma sighed.
“He’s no family of mine! I won’t forgive him!” Goku growled, getting to his feet.
“What are you going to do? Your brother is far stronger than you,” Krillin asked nervously. “We can’t beat him.”
“His tail! His weakness is his tail. If I can grab his tail and hold on tight, he’ll lose all his strength!” Goku said, recalling a past experience. “That’s how it used to be with me.”
“That’s true,” Master Roshi nodded in agreement.
“But how do we get hold of his tail?” Krillin asked.
“It’ll be hard for me to do it alone,” Goku muttered.
Krillin: “…”
Master Roshi: “…”
The two exchanged uneasy glances, their expressions turning bitter.
“We’ll do everything we can to support you…” Master Roshi gripped his staff tightly.
“Yeah… we’ll take him on together, though I’m not feeling very confident… I don’t even have a girlfriend yet,” Krillin said with a trembling voice, almost in tears.
I might really die this time.
“If only the blue creature were here. She’d know how to deal with this,” Bulma sighed. “It’s so frustrating… She freeloaded at our house for so long, yet when we need her most, she’s nowhere to be found…”
Goku and the others remained silent for a moment.
“Bulma, do you have the Dragon Radar?” Goku suddenly asked.
“Right! Gohan has a Dragon Ball on his hat,” Bulma realized and quickly pulled out the Dragon Radar, handing it to Goku.
Goku carefully checked the radar, noticing that Raditz was moving quickly.
“Where’s he going? Could he be heading into space?” Bulma asked, peeking at the radar.
“He stopped! Great! He’s still on Earth!” Krillin replied.
“Alright, let’s move! We don’t have time to waste!” Goku clenched his fists, staring at the distant sky as if he could see his helpless son, Gohan. His heart ached.
“You’re right. Maybe we can win, though the chances are slim,” Krillin agreed, nodding.
“Well, we’re dead either way, so we might as well fight to the end,” Master Roshi said, stretching his old back.
“You three won’t make it.”
A voice suddenly came from the back of the house.
…
Zeno: Find Some Time to Meet Ren (Part 3)
…
Piccolo calmly stepped forward.
Krillin jumped in shock upon seeing him.
“Why are you here?” Goku asked, surprised.
“I followed that guy,” Piccolo admitted.
“You’ve seen him?” Goku asked.
“Yes. You and the others won’t be able to beat him! But if we work together, we might just have a chance,” Piccolo said. “You know how powerful he is. Neither of us can take him on alone, but together, we might defeat him!”
“That’s true. But why are you helping us?” Goku asked, confused.
“Don’t get me wrong—I’m not doing this for peace, and I don’t care about the fate of your son. I just don’t want him interfering with my plans to conquer the world!” Piccolo sneered, then smiled arrogantly. “Once we get rid of him and his comrades, I’ll deal with you. Then, the world will be mine.”
“I won’t let you take over the world, but I’ll cooperate with you to defeat our common enemy first,” Goku replied.
“I hate working with you, but I have no choice,” Piccolo grumbled.
Smack!
Goku didn’t say much more. He lightly leaped onto the Flying Nimbus, tightly gripping the Dragon Radar in his right hand. Somehow, the device felt heavier than usual.
“Can you keep up with the Nimbus?” Goku asked with a smile.
“Don’t underestimate me. There’s no way that little cloud of yours could be faster than me,” Piccolo snorted.
The two shot up into the sky, speeding toward Raditz’s location.
…
In the Ninth Universe, somewhere in space.
Bam! Bam! Bam!
Broly and Majin Buu were still relentlessly smacking around Quitela.
After playing with him for over an hour, they finally started to cool off.
Ptooey! Ptooey! Ptooey!
Majin Buu spat at Quitela several times, feeling much better afterward.
“Should we turn him into chocolate and eat him? I’ll share half with you,” Buu chuckled, offering the idea to Broly.
Broly: “…”
If you hadn’t spat all over him, I might have considered sharing…
“I’m not eating that,” Broly replied flatly, shaking his head.
“Alright then.” Buu gave Quitela a hard kick, sending him flying off into the distance.
As for what Broly and Buu decided to do with Quitela, Ren had no intention of intervening.
“What’s your next plan, Ren?” Broly asked, approaching him.
“It’s been a while since you two have had a good meal, hasn’t it?” Ren inquired.
Both Broly and Majin Buu nodded enthusiastically, with Buu even drooling at the thought.
“Let’s head to Earth and get something delicious to eat,” Ren smiled, inviting them along.
“Earth?” Buu’s eyes lit up. “Can I find Mr. Satan there? The chocolates in his pocket were the best.”
“Is it the chocolate that’s tasty, or the flavor of his pocket that you like so much?” Ren chuckled, wiping away a drop of sweat.
Buu: “???”
“Do what you like, but let me make it clear—you can’t cause any trouble on Earth,” Ren said, tapping his staff lightly in the vastness of space.
Crack!
Suddenly, a crack formed in the fabric of space itself.
Majin Buu’s eyes widened, and his face shifted from surprise to fear as he nodded vigorously.
“Let’s go,” Ren said, his staff glowing like a brilliant star, enveloping both Broly and Buu in its radiant light.
Whoosh!
Ren, along with Broly and Buu, transformed into a dazzling streak of light, heading rapidly in the direction of the Sixth Universe.
As they traveled, Ren once again contacted Vados.
“Oh my, judging by the brilliance of the angelic power within you, Ren, your angelic energy purity has already reached a level of 58,” Vados remarked, surprised.
“What level are you at?” Ren asked, curious.
“Me? I’m at 68,” Vados giggled.
Ren: “…”
“But don’t feel discouraged. After all, I’ve been training for over a billion years. You’ve only been at it for a short time,” Vados reassured him with a smile.
“I’m not discouraged. I’m just worried that if I don’t surpass you… if I marry you, you might bully me. I’m still not strong enough to beat you, right?” Ren mused.
“Are you saying you’d marry me just to fight me?” Vados blinked, her tone soft but incredulous.
“I’m more into using candles, whips, and handcuffs,” Ren replied with a mischievous grin.
Vados: “???”
“Did you get in touch with the Grand Priest? What did he say?” Vados asked, a mischievous glint in her eyes.
“He didn’t say anything, so that means he’s okay with it. Wait for me on Earth; I’m on my way,” Ren explained.
Vados was speechless.
You’re calling no answer “approval”?
Vados checked Ren’s location in space and realized he was getting closer to the Void Realm.
Once he crossed through it and traveled a bit farther, he would enter the Sixth Universe.
“I’ll be waiting,” Vados said, ending the conversation. She then called to the waiter, “Excuse me, could you please pack all of this to-go?”
Three minutes later, with a large bag of takeout boxes in hand, Vados swiftly left Earth.
Meanwhile, Ren had successfully entered the Void Realm.
As he passed through the Eighteenth Universe, he glanced at a white planet and descended with Broly and Majin Buu.
“It’s been so long, yet this planet hasn’t changed a bit…” Ren sighed.
Exquisite: “…”
You haven’t given this planet a drop of angelic power, so how could it change? Instead of finding the Supreme Kai, you’re out there picking fights with Destroyers.
Now look—you even lost your own Destroyer.
Exquisite silently watched Ren with a hint of frustration. However, she didn’t take on her human form, remaining instead as scattered cosmic essence, hovering over the white planet, colorless and odorless.
Majin Buu and Broly looked around the planet but couldn’t make sense of what they were seeing.
“Who was that talking just now?” Ren asked suddenly.
Majin Buu: “???”
Broly: “???”
Both of them quickly covered their mouths and shook their heads.
Majin Buu even shot a nervous glance at Ren’s staff, remembering how painful it had been in the past.
Meras used to hit me with that thing all the time.
Now Ren’s got one too… He even cracked that mouse’s skull with it.
Poor Quitela, I hope I kicked him hard enough to finish him off.
Majin Buu’s thoughts wandered.
“I thought I heard someone whispering,” Ren muttered thoughtfully.
“I didn’t say anything,” Broly quickly replied, pointing at Majin Buu. “It must have been him.”
Majin Buu glared, furious.
What kind of teammate are you? I thought we were best friends!
“You traitor!” Majin Buu thought to himself.
“No, it was a woman’s voice,” Ren shook his head. “Let me concentrate and listen.”
Broly and Majin Buu both nodded vigorously.
