On Planet Yardrat.
Due to the full-scale invasion by Cooler’s forces, Planet Yardrat had been left in ruins.
Countless iconic buildings had collapsed, smoke billowed, and flames shot into the sky.
Cooler’s squad, along with numerous soldiers, rampaged across the planet, demonstrating their might to the Yardratians and reveling in the destruction they caused.
At this moment, Cooler was confronting the Grand Elder of Planet Yardrat, Pybara.
“You… you demon!” Grand Elder Pybara shouted at Cooler, his eyes burning with rage but unable to resist.
He hated his own powerlessness, unable to stop Cooler or control the situation.
The Yardratians, despite their various mystical abilities, were a peaceful and kind-hearted race.
They never imagined that their benevolence would attract such a terrifying tyrant of the universe.
Not only was Cooler unimaginably powerful, but even his subordinates’ power level was so overwhelming that the Yardratians couldn’t defend against them.
Even fleeing was a luxury they couldn’t afford.
Instant Transmission?
Sure, it was possible.
But among the Yardratians, there were the elderly, the weak, the sick, and those with less aptitude or special circumstances who hadn’t mastered Instant Transmission.
Currently, they were like lambs waiting for slaughter.
“Heh heh heh~~! Grand Elder of the Yardratians, I’ve said before, my visit is solely to learn your Instant Transmission technique.”
“You must understand, your refusal to teach me is what led to the destruction of your planet.”
“Without sufficient strength, you can’t protect such a power.”
“You still have a chance now, but my patience is limited. You should know, I won’t show mercy! The longer you delay, the more Yardratians will die until none are left.”
Cooler’s cold words echoed like a devil’s whisper in Grand Elder Pybara’s ears.
Such blatant threats left Grand Elder Pybara angry yet afraid to speak.
If he refused, his people would be massacred by this demon.
But if he agreed, there was no guarantee that Cooler wouldn’t kill them all after learning Instant Transmission.
What should he do?
As the Grand Elder, Pybara had never faced such a dilemma since his birth.
Just then, three of Cooler’s squad members descended from the sky, landing respectfully beside Cooler.
Dore: “Lord Cooler, we’ve secured all Yardratians in the vicinity. At your command, we can kill them all.”
Neiz: “Heh heh, those attempting to flee have been captured using high-voltage nets and are now wearing restraining collars.”
Salza: “Lord Cooler, awaiting your next orders.”
“Well done, stand by for now,” Cooler said with a cold smile.
Then he turned back to Grand Elder Pybara.
“You heard them, all surviving Yardratians are under our control.”
“Will you continue to resist and face annihilation, or teach me Instant Transmission and we might become friends?”
“Hurry up and decide, or I’ll start a new game, and then you’ll have no choice.”
Cooler crossed his arms, his words and actions filled with cruelty.
In his eyes, these insignificant beings were mere ants.
It was curious that the creator had given the Yardratians such an advantage.
Grand Elder Pybara clenched his teeth, trembling all over, and finally, as if making a difficult decision, bowed his proud head: “Can you guarantee that if I teach you Instant Transmission, you’ll spare the Yardratians?”
Cooler sneered: “Of course! I am the Emperor of the Universe! My word is my bond!”
His assurance sounded convincing.
But what he would actually do remained uncertain.
Having a semblance of psychological comfort, Grand Elder Pybara sighed in relief.
Compromise seemed the only path.
This scene was also observed by Lin Chuan, who had arrived via Instant Transmission.
Lin Chuan had reached the planet but had not revealed himself.
Only after confirming Cooler’s true intentions did he prepare to act.
…
“I never thought the mighty Cooler would resort to such coercion, it’s really disappointing.”
“You, Cooler, are supposed to be an Emperor of the Universe, yet you resort to such tricks. Don’t you find it demeaning?”
Lin Chuan’s voice echoed through the area, drawing the attention of Cooler and all his squad members, including Grand Elder Pybara.
The situation shifted in an instant.
“Oh my? Another outsider on Planet Yardrat?”
“A lowly Saiyan? Hmm? A tail?! So you’re a Saiyan. This is getting interesting.”
Seeing Lin Chuan step out of the shadows and recognizing him as a Saiyan, Cooler was initially surprised but soon looked amused.
“Have you been on Planet Yardrat all along, or did you arrive recently? From what I know, there aren’t many Saiyans left…”
“According to Frieza’s reports, you Saiyans have been quite active lately. You’re not among those, are you?”
Cooler’s words flowed without pause, directly questioning Lin Chuan.
Such a question confirmed to Lin Chuan that Cooler’s information network was indeed synchronized with Frieza’s: “Is it necessary to delve into that? Shouldn’t you be saying that I, a Saiyan, am bold to stand before the Emperor of the Universe?”
Cooler was momentarily stunned by the unexpected response, then fully recovered.
His expression changed drastically; a mere Saiyan monkey was mocking him.
“I understand now, you’re seeking death,” Cooler, colder than Frieza, declared.
With those words, the atmosphere shifted drastically.
“Let’s get this over with quickly and not waste time,” Lin Chuan said, eyes narrowing with a dangerous glint.
Cooler didn’t move but wasn’t disturbed.
His subordinates, however, stepped forward.
Dore, a member of Cooler’s squad, had a power level of 185,000.
Wild and burly, he took a step forward.
“Hmph!! Let me handle you for Lord Cooler! A mere Saiyan monkey dares to mock Lord Cooler,” Dore said as he adjusted the scouter on his right eye.
With the scouter activated, Dore read Lin Chuan’s power level.
“Dore, what’s his power level?” Neiz asked, arms crossed, looking amused.
The Yardratians had been too weak, and he wasn’t satisfied yet.
If this Saiyan had some strength, he could be a fun plaything.
“Tch~! I thought he was impressive, but he’s just trash, only 5000 power level,” Dore said disdainfully.
A power level of 5000 was nothing compared to their elite soldiers.
“Hmph! With only 5000 power level, he’s already acting arrogant? Saiyans are indeed simple-minded ants,” Salza said, arms crossed, indifferent.
He wouldn’t bother dealing with such ants, awaiting the real show.
‘Crack! Crack!!’ Dore cracked his knuckles, a look of mockery growing on his face.
“Saiyan, don’t be afraid, it’ll only hurt for a moment.” Dore said, charging at Lin Chuan, his massive fist aiming for Lin Chuan’s face.
‘Whoosh!!!’ A breaking sound filled the air.
Dore’s fist, which should have hit its target, swung through empty space.
“What?!” Dore was stunned by the miss.
The others, Cooler, Salza, and Neiz, were equally shocked.
Lin Chuan used Instant Transmission to appear behind Dore.
“You’re the trash, Dore. Do you think you’re qualified to talk to me?” Lin Chuan said coldly.
Raising his hand, a golden light flashed in his palm, and in an instant, a vast wave of golden energy burst from his hand.
