While Lin Wusheng was reconnecting with his relatives in a valley not far from New York:
This was a Stark Industries weapons research facility.
A helicopter gently landed on the central helipad.
Three figures slowly descended from the helicopter.
“Ah! The air in New York smells good!” Tony Stark stretched lazily, greedily breathing it in.
Alongside him, Dr. Ethan and Tennoji were also somewhat excited.
After many days, they finally saw the big city. Having spent so much time in a primitive cave, the sight of this human civilization was genuinely exhilarating.
“Tony!”
Pepper Potts, overwhelmed with joy, rushed forward and hugged Tony tightly.
But quickly, she sensed something and tore open Tony’s shirt.
“What’s this?”
Pepper looked at the Arc Reactor on Tony’s chest, her face full of shock.
“I’ll explain later!”
Tony was hurried in his response.
He quickly made his way to the helipad.
Under his direction, another Chinook transport helicopter slowly landed.
The cargo doors opened, and two large boxes of aviation materials were pushed out.
Tony carefully instructed his team to move them into the weapons research lab.
“Tony, what is this? Did you bring it back from the Middle East? Is it dangerous?”
Pepper hurriedly asked.
“I’ll tell you later! Pepper, right now, I need people to reinforce the lab! Hmm… let’s build it to nuclear-proof standards. It has to be solid to ensure nothing goes wrong!”
Tony simply stated.
“You’re always like this, never discussing anything with me!”
Pepper, somewhat helpless, could only comply.
“By the way, I forgot to introduce them! This is Dr. Ethan, Mr. Tennoji… cough, Tennoji. Without them, I couldn’t have survived in the Middle East!”
Tony introduced the identities of Ethan and Tennoji to Pepper.
“Nice to meet you! Thank you for taking care of Tony!”
Pepper gratefully shook hands with them both.
“Actually, without Tony, we couldn’t have made it out of the Middle East!” Tennoji chuckled. “Even though he can be quite annoying!”
The group shared a laugh, though Tony sulkily pouted.
“Enough talk! Let’s reinforce the lab, and I can’t wait to uncover the secrets of these immortal creatures!”
Tony’s eyes sparkled with anticipation. As a genius scientist, he loved researching new things, which brought him great joy.
“Immortal creatures? What immortal creatures?”
Pepper was puzzled.
“It’s a mysterious creature we encountered in the Middle East, and you’ll see how formidable it is soon!”
Tony didn’t say much more while Dr. Ethan and Tennoji smiled mysteriously.
“Immortal creatures…”
Unnoticed by the group, not far from them, a worker seemed to be sending a message with a wrist computer.

Several days later.
Midtown High School.
School buses stopped, and high school students streamed out.
“Hey, Peter, how does being in the dungeon feel? Tell us about it!”
A towering figure blocked the path of a young man trying to enter the classroom.
“Thompson, stop looking for trouble!”
Ned stood in front of Thompson.
“What, you want to get beaten up? You fatso!”
Thompson immediately glared at Ned.
“Stop it, Thompson!”
Just when the atmosphere was tense, a figure pulled Thompson away by his cap.
Gwen stared at Thompson with an unfriendly look:
“So, Thompson, think you’re something special?”
“Of course, I’m not as ‘special’ as you! Protecting the monster that kills classmates!”
Thompson looked at Gwen but didn’t dare to hit her; instead, he disdainfully said:
“You all are accomplices of the monster! Marilyn and others will curse you from hell!”
“Marilyn and the others brought it upon themselves!”
Gwen snarled.
“Right! We all brought it upon ourselves, and only Mysterio was innocent! An innocent killer who killed over twenty people! Impressive indeed!”
“You!”
Gwen wanted to say more, but Thompson swung his backpack and returned to his seat, ignoring everyone as if he was the victim.
“I’m done with him!”
Gwen scoffed and looked towards Peter.
She still greatly appreciated Peter for bravely stepping up and protecting Mysterio when it mattered.
“Peter, you’ve been okay these past few days? My father hasn’t given you a hard time, has he?”
Gwen asked with concern.
Although it was Peter and her who helped Mysterio escape, as George’s daughter, she wasn’t punished, but Peter had been caught for a week, and she didn’t know what he had been doing.
“Nothing much! Just got a lecture and had to do some community service for a few days!”
Peter shook his head.
He omitted the part about being scolded by George Stacy.
After all, he was the father of the girl he liked.
Seeing Gwen’s concern, Peter felt a warm glow inside, and the soreness in his arms and back from the days of volunteer work seemed to vanish.
“How’s Mysterio doing?”
Peter tried to get closer to Gwen and asked softly.
“She’s fine! Don’t worry, she’s doing very well!”
Gwen nodded.
She had visited Mysterio at the Jerome Institute again, thriving, even happier than at home, undergoing training and education, and much brighter in spirit.
And what made Peter happy was that Gwen did not show displeasure at his approach.
That meant Gwen did not dislike him.
“As long as she’s doing well!”
Peter quickly nodded and swiftly returned to his usual distance from Gwen.
He wanted to appear more gentlemanly in front of Gwen.
“You care about her so much and don’t like her?”
Gwen suddenly asked, her face bearing a curious smile.
“No! How could I like her? What I like is…”
Peter’s face turned red, and he never finished the sentence.
“You’re very suspicious!”
Fortunately, Gwen did not pursue it further, as the bell for class soon rang.
To everyone’s surprise, the usually stern homeroom teacher stood at the podium with a beaming smile.
“Class, today we have two new students from China joining our class! I hope you can welcome them! Please introduce yourselves.”
As the teacher finished speaking, two tall figures immediately appeared in front of everyone.
One was bright and spirited, with a distinguished air, and the other was rebellious, with blond hair.
They instantly captured everyone’s attention.
“Hello everyone, I’m Lin Lie! I hope to get along well with you all!”
Lin Lie looked at everyone and flashed a kind smile.
His smile seemed to breeze gently across every girl’s face.
“City, that’s my name!”
Archer coldly spoke, writing his name on the blackboard.
He didn’t say much, as his English wasn’t good.
The sudden appearance of two distinctively handsome guys in the class instantly made the girls buzz with excitement.
