Lee Sin’s Bizzare Adventure Chapter 59

The Willow Flurries

When Narancia dashed out of the alley, Giorno knew something was wrong.

If Lee Sin’s plan had succeeded, he should have been the one to come out first.

But now…

Narancia emerged with a smile, and the “Aerosmith” flying above maneuvered nimbly.

“Narancia, it’s you?”

Giorno’s expression was as stern as an iron statue, but Fugo, standing opposite, burst into laughter:

“Hahahaha…”

“Looks like that bald guy fell into the trap, huh?”

“Of course!”

Narancia nodded without hesitation:

“Bucciarati is the best…”

“That guy named Lee Sin has completely fallen into Bucciarati’s trap.”

“He asked me to come help you finish off this ‘curly-haired’ guy!”

“Curly-haired…”

Giorno’s expression grew even more somber.

Giving people random nicknames is quite ungentlemanly.

However, he had no time to worry about such matters now.

More pressing than the nickname was figuring out how to survive.

Lee Sin was fifty meters away in the alley, presumably caught in an enemy trap;

Giorno was left alone here, without Lee Sin’s assistance, facing not just two… no, three enemies:

As Narancia emerged from the alley…

A tall man with silver hair and large patches of congealed blood on him also appeared at the far end of the street.

He stopped a hundred meters away at the corner, clearly having been stationed there to block any retreat and ensure Giorno was trapped with no way out.

“Damn… this is a really tight spot.”

“The alley is guarded by a strong enemy battling Lee Sin; in front are these two guys with a plane and poison, and the rear exit is guarded by a mysterious enemy.”

“All exits are blocked; running away is useless.”

Giorno’s eyes grew heavier with contemplation:

“I must… I must find a breakthrough somewhere!”

“But where?”

The alley was out of the question, as he was fifty meters away from it with Narancia and Fugo blocking his path.

That was Lee Sin’s battleground, and Giorno couldn’t reunite with him.

The crossroads were also out. Giorno knew nothing about the mysterious silver-haired man, and the unknown is the most terrifying enemy for a Stand user.

So…

“I can only face the enemy head-on!”

“I need to find a way to deal with these two enemies in front of me, at least take down one, and then try to reunite with Lee Sin!”

Giorno quickly made his decision.

But deciding was easy; the battle wouldn’t get any simpler just because he had resolved to fight:

“The tracking method of that ‘toy plane’ is still unclear, and the guy who releases the purple smoke…”

“His purple gas must be poisonous; otherwise, they wouldn’t have gone to such lengths to trick Lee Sin into getting close.”

“What kind of poison is it?”

Giorno was caught in indecision:

“Corrosive poison, real poison, enzyme-based poison, blood poison, or nerve poison?”

“Is it inorganic, organic, fungal, bacterial, or viral?”

“Different types of poisons cause different effects and require completely different countermeasures…”

“If I can’t identify the toxin, approaching recklessly is courting death!”

As he meticulously pondered the enemy’s abilities, Fugo and Narancia didn’t give Giorno a moment to breathe.

They quickly launched their attack:

“Aerosmith!”

“Purple Haze!”

The “toy plane” swooped down from the sky, and the “purple monster” on the road charged forward.

Giorno had no time to think.

He couldn’t hit the plane, and he dared not touch Purple Haze, so just like Lee Sin earlier, his only option was—

To dash away!

With nimble agility, Giorno rolled behind a car, using the vehicle to block Aerosmith’s bullets, and quickly fled before Purple Haze could reach him.

To evade the bullets, he was forced to move further away from the alley and towards the direction guarded by the silver-haired man.

Fugo and Narancia immediately gave chase.

“Don’t let him get too far!”

They reached a mutual understanding:

“Our car is parked in that direction, and there’s Abbacchio…”

Abbacchio’s Stand had little combat power.

Bucciarati had placed Abbacchio there to intimidate enemies with his menacing appearance, a bluff to keep enemies at bay.

If Giorno broke through, he might actually escape.

“Chase!”

Aerosmith and Purple Haze surged forward.

Their tactics were simple yet effective:

The tough, poison-releasing “alchemist” stuck close to the enemy, while the “plane” provided relentless long-range fire support.

Giorno, outnumbered and outgunned, immediately fell into a disadvantage.

He dodged the aerial bullets and struggled to maintain distance from Purple Haze, quickly showing signs of defeat.

At this rate, he would soon be overwhelmed.

In this critical moment, Giorno suddenly hesitated.

It seemed he had an idea:

“Muda muda muda muda!”

“Muda muda muda muda!”

“……”

Golden Experience materialized, launching a barrage of glittering golden punches.

It didn’t attack the people or the Stands but rather the roadside willow trees.

It was spring, late March or early April, the season when willows sprout and shed their fluffy seeds.

The road was already blanketed with drifting willow fluff, resembling a springtime snowfall.

However…

After being pummeled by Golden Experience, the willows seemed to explode, shedding tons of “dandruff.”

The willow fluff poured out like a snowstorm, blanketing half the street.

The white fluff covered the ground, the cars, and filled the air, enveloping everything in a cloud.

Giorno and Golden Experience’s forms became hazy, obscured in the “fog.”

“Cough cough cough…”

Fugo coughed violently, his face flushing red:

“That guy… used the fluff to hide himself!”

“Narancia!”

He fought through the irritation, shouting to Narancia:

“I can’t see him now.”

“Quick, use your Aerosmith to find this ‘curly-haired’ guy!”

In addition to bullets and bombs, Aerosmith had a radar to detect carbon dioxide.

This radar could pinpoint human breathing, making it easy to locate enemies without visual cues.

“Okay!”

“I’ll find him now!”

Narancia quickly activated Aerosmith’s radar.

However…

“Uh… Fugo.” He hesitated: “I can’t find him.”

“Why?”

Fugo asked impatiently: “With no interference, why can’t you find him?”

“Well…”

Narancia began to sweat under the pressure.

He glanced at the willows still shedding fluff and, with his limited elementary school education, tried to explain:

“I guess the willows need energy to produce fluff.”

“So, whether intentionally or not, that guy sped up the trees’… photosyn… no… light… something…”

“Photosynthesis?”

Fugo, the child prodigy who entered college at thirteen, provided the term.

“Yes!”

“The surrounding carbon dioxide is quickly absorbed by the trees, causing fluctuations…”

Narancia sighed in relief:

“In short, I can’t find him!”
