“Sekienton!”
In his Mugetsu form, Hawking cast the smoke charm again, and the entire city of New York was instantly shrouded in thick fog.
“Indeed, the power of magic has increased.”
After completing his experiment, Hawking’s soul returned to his body.
He felt that in his Mugetsu form, casting a fire charm might achieve an effect comparable to Dumbledore’s Firestorm.
While his magic skills were far behind top-tier wizards like Dumbledore or Grindelwald, his soul was incredibly powerful in Mugetsu form.
He was so powerful that even with his current level of magic, the spells he cast were as effective as those of Dumbledore or Grindelwald.
Of course, this was only true when he loaded the Ichigo Kurosaki template and transformed it into his final Mugetsu form.
But even without the main character template, with the memories and bloodline of Ichigo Kurosaki, he could quickly reach the same level through training.
After all, it took Ichigo only a few months to go from becoming a Shinigami to defeating Aizen.
The Ichigo Kurosaki template ended an hour later, and Hawking’s soul exited his body again. He was in a regular Shinigami form this time, holding his original Zanpakuto.
“Seems like I should also study Fullbring in the future.”
Returning to his body, Hawking disappeared from the building’s rooftop.
In Shinigami form, ordinary people couldn’t see him, but he could only use Shinigami’s powers and magic in battles. He could combine his physical body and spiritual powers for combat if he mastered Fullbring.
That way, he could exert his full combat strength.
As for how to train Fullbring, the power was already within him. By recalling the plot of “Bleach” from his previous life, he could gradually figure it out.
The next morning, Hawking created several shadow clones to handle matters at his company.
After last night’s battle, the Hero Alliance International Company was undoubtedly in the spotlight. They needed to expand quickly and conduct interviews to capitalize on this wave of attention.
Although the company’s public relations department would handle most of the details, as the face of the company and the Saiyan superhero who defeated Apocalypse and saved the world, he had to be present.
But he didn’t want to waste his precious time on these matters, which he could use to improve his strength and spend time with his family.
So he sent his shadow clones to deal with it.
He understood clearly that his strength was the most crucial no matter how big the company grew. He couldn’t secure his future without enough power to control those superheroes and fend off suppression from government officials.
Thus, on the first day after the battle, he spent most of his time with his family and adapting to the powers brought by the Ichigo Kurosaki template.
As evening approached, an expected visitor arrived at his door.
“Well, well, isn’t it Director Fury? Why aren’t you dealing with the Hydra attacks and instead showing up here?”
Opening the door to see Nick Fury’s familiar face, Hawking greeted him with a hint of mockery in his tone.
With his thick skin, Nick Fury wasn’t at all embarrassed like Captain Marvel had been. Instead, he remained completely composed.
“Last night’s incident was indeed a failure on our part, so I’ve come with some important information to make amends.”
“Make amends?”
Hawking raised an eyebrow, having a few guesses in his mind.
He nodded, “Alright, let’s discuss it in your car.”
The two of them got into Nick Fury’s specially modified black van.
Without any small talk, Nick Fury got straight to the point:
“The Security Council is demanding that you sign an agreement to come under their supervision. If you refuse, they’ll use your alien identity against you, hindering your company’s development and employing various methods to deal with you.”
“I don’t understand, Director Fury. Aren’t you a representative of the Security Council? Why would you give me such crucial information in advance? Or are you here to persuade me to sign this so-called supervision agreement?”
Hawking smiled, showing no anger over the information.
Nick Fury shrugged, “They did send me to get you to sign the agreement, but I don’t agree with them and don’t think you should sign it.”
“Well, that’s surprising. Care to explain why, Director Fury?”
Hawking asked calmly.
Nick Fury looked Hawking in the eyes, “If my sources are correct, Mr. Hawking, you’re not really an alien, are you?”
Hearing the certainty in Nick Fury’s tone, Hawking initially showed a trace of confusion, then understanding.
He suddenly remembered that Nick Fury knew many Skrulls, a powerful cosmic civilization that once rivaled the Kree.
Such a civilization would have extensive records of alien species.
Considering Hawking’s displayed Saiyan power, which was incredibly strong, it couldn’t be from an unknown small race.
So Nick Fury’s guess was understandable.
Even without knowing the Skrulls, the story Hawking concocted, so similar to Superman’s, would hardly convince the skeptical Nick Fury.
Only the general public would probably believe Hawking was a Saiyan superhero from Planet Vegeta.
“Does it matter? Director Fury, just say what you need to.”
Hawking cut to the chase.
Nick Fury didn’t beat around the bush either. “Mr. Hawking, I understand what you’re aiming for. I’m willing to cooperate with you and provide information on those people so you and your Hero Alliance can develop better and protect the Earth more effectively.”
Hearing Nick Fury’s words, Hawking narrowed his eyes, his mind racing.
He finally laughed, “As expected, there are no permanent enemies in this world, only permanent interests. Very well, since Director Fury is so willing to help, I won’t be polite.”
Despite knowing they couldn’t match him, he initially thought Nick Fury might bring Captain Marvel to test him to appease the Security Council.
He was prepared to decide whether to kill Nick Fury and Captain Marvel and then use the alien bait to flush out more hostile high-level officials to eliminate.
But he didn’t expect Nick Fury to be so straightforward, willing to cooperate with him in eliminating those high-level officials targeting him.
This made him hesitate to act.
After all, killing Captain Marvel wouldn’t be easy, and eliminating Nick Fury and S.H.I.E.L.D. would leave no one to counter Hydra.
Moreover, identifying those targeting him one by one wasn’t easy either.
