……
After dinner, he returned to his room and began his daily magic research.
He had already mastered all the magic he remembered from Harry Potter, but that didn’t mean he could stop studying.
Through continuous practice, he discovered that the power of a spell was related to his inner strength, i.e., his mental energy and how much he had studied the spell.
For example, a simple full-body-bin curse would typically have no trouble finding an ordinary person, but to bind someone with strength beyond ordinary people, like Wolverine, it would not hold.
However, when he activated the ‘Potters’ Bloodline,’ his mental strength increased significantly, and the binding effect of the curse increased considerably, making it impossible for even Wolverine to break free.
If he didn’t activate the ‘Potters’ Bloodline’ and wanted to enhance the power of the Full Body-Bind Curse, he would have to practice and study the spell more deeply.
In the movies, the same fire magic students produce is just a ball of flames, but when Dumbledore uses it, it becomes a sea of fire.
Similarly, with the Fiendfyre Curse, Crabbe could only burn a house, while Grindelwald could burn down all of Paris.
Of course, even if the magic is practiced to the level of Dumbledore and Grindelwald, its destructive power could be better than a Saiyan’s.
But Saiyans also have many weaknesses. Despite their destructive solid power, they can struggle against some enemies with unique abilities.
Even if he became a Super Saiyan, capable of quickly blowing up a planet, he would have a tough time if he encountered someone like the Ancient One who could manipulate time and space.
Having more tricks up your sleeve can reduce your weaknesses.
In the Marvel world, humans, mutants, Inhumans, aliens, deities, demons, and various dimensional beings exhibit too many abilities.
If your methods are too simplistic, unless you’re extremely powerful, you’re likely to be targeted.
Moreover, the magical power in the Harry Potter world could be better because the wizard bloodline there has its limits, but Hawking’s future has no limits.
If his mental strength is muscular enough in the future, he can transform the moon into a mooncake with a Transfiguration spell.
“Ding Ding Ding!”
As Hawking continuously cast Transfiguration spells on a chair in front of him, turning it into a dog and then a cat, a knock on the door suddenly sounded.
“Hawking, are you in your room?”
A young girl’s pleasant voice came from the doorway. It was Wanda, who was now thirteen years old.
“In the room, come in.”
He cast an Unlocking Spell, and the locked door immediately opened.
“Tonight, the school is holding a bonfire dance in the small woods behind to send off the seniors about to graduate. Professor Xavier asked me to inform you.”
Wanda, wearing a red sweater and holding her head high with her hands behind her back, walked excitedly up to Hawking.
Hawking smiled and ruffled her hair.
“Okay, I know. Thank you for coming to tell me. I’ll be there tonight.”
Girls usually mature earlier than boys, especially in Western countries.
Wanda is only thirteen now, but she has changed a lot compared to how she looked as a little girl three years ago. If Hawking hadn’t known she was thirteen, he would have thought she was fifteen or sixteen.
But it’s not the same for everyone, like Shadowcat, who looked about the same at fifteen as she did at twelve. Now, she’s seventeen and seems more mature than Wanda.
“Um…Hawking, have you chosen a dance partner yet?”
Wanda looked eagerly at Hawking.
Hawking was momentarily stunned:
“Dance partner? No need, I’m not very interested in dancing.”
He had attended such bonfire farewell dances twice before, but each time he went, he would bring Wanda and Pietro, like those eight or nine-year-old kids, mostly eating and drinking throughout the event.
The barbecue and various desserts at the dance were quite good.
As for the dancing part of the dance, it was mostly older kids who had begun to experience the stirrings of love who participated.
Foreign kids mature early and start dating early. When he came to the school three years ago, Iceman and Rogue were already in a relationship, and there were many similar cases.
The professors didn’t interfere much in this regard.
Hearing that Hawking didn’t have a dance partner, Wanda’s eyes lit up.
“Cough cough, Hawkeye, I haven’t found a dance partner yet. Please help me out when the time comes. Otherwise, it’s going to be embarrassing to be without one.
“You don’t have a dance partner?”
A look of disbelief appeared on Hawkeye’s face.
Even though he didn’t interact much with those students, he had heard from Quicksilver that Wanda was quite famous at school. Boys her age and even older ones had expressed interest in Wanda.
He hadn’t interfered, knowing from experience that it’s best not to be too controlling at this age, as it could lead to rebellion.
“No, no one has invited me yet.”
Wanda said somewhat sheepishly.
Hawkeye laughed:
“It must be because you’re too fierce. Everyone’s scared of you.”
Despite Wanda being relatively well-behaved in front of him, she was not known for having a good temper at school. Moreover, she had learned some magic from Hawkeye, making her quite the prankster.
Hawkeye had found time to teach Wanda some of the wizarding world’s magic over the past three years.
Wanda’s magic came from the Nexus, one of the three primal forces. On the surface, it seemed similar to ordinary telekinesis, but at its core, it was an incredibly perverse form of the power of creation.
Meaning whatever she wished for could become a reality.
The central universe’s Wanda could use chaos magic to create a small town of her ideal, bring back to life the deceased Vision, and even give birth to two children out of thin air.
In other universes, there were instances where Wanda made the entire mutant population disappear with just a word.
So, learning the magic Hawkeye taught her was easy, and she didn’t need a wand to cast spells.
However, her spell could have been more potent because the chaos magic within her was still weak.
This was unavoidable, as most universes have a Wanda, but not all are as powerful.
The strength of chaos magic comes from the mind, and the more stimulated the reason is, the more influential the magic becomes.
The central universe’s Wanda is strong because her tragic childhood experiences unlocked her potential, triggered by the Mind Stone, further fueled by the death of her brother and lover, and finally, by absorbing the magic of a top sorcerer and learning from the Darkhold.
But the Wanda of this universe had a happy childhood and made many friends at the mutant school, and even though she practiced her abilities, the effects were minimal.
Even without Hawkeye’s appearance, the original Universe 838’s Wanda was not strong, easily possessed by the central universe’s Wanda, and in the eyes of the Illuminati, she was just a “little witch” with average power.
