At this critical moment, a loud shout came from the bridge.
“Devour!”
Kingpin inhaled sharply, creating a powerful suction that captured Loki’s form and began pulling him towards the bridge.
Loki’s movement stalled, giving Jarvis enough time to maneuver Tony away from the spot, sparks flying from the damaged armor.
Frustrated by his missed attack, Loki turned his scepter towards Kingpin and swung forcefully, sending a crescent-shaped energy blast towards him.
Realizing his limitations, Kingpin quickly ended his suction ability and rolled off the bridge, narrowly avoiding the attack that blasted a huge hole in the bridge.
Gunfire echoed continuously, serving as the background noise. Loki’s shield easily withstood the barrage of bullets, which wouldn’t harm him without more significant firepower. Only Tony and Kingpin posed any real threat to him.
“Enhanced firepower, barrage mode,” came a voice from the distant street, accompanied by a shower of glowing red bullets.
Tony turned to see an unfamiliar face wielding a massive gun emitting red flames, clearly not an ordinary person.
Caught off guard by the sudden barrage, Loki struggled to dodge the powerful bullets, which were far more lethal than regular ones. Even as a god, he didn’t want to get hit by those.
However, the newcomer’s control was clumsy. His strength barely managed to wield the heavy weapon, leaving him unable to do much else.
Dodging the bullets, Loki chanted a spell.
A prison of ice spread from Loki, freezing everything it touched within seconds.
“Cover me! I can’t move!” the newcomer shouted. His weapon, a prize from the Main God Space, had a lengthy cooldown after firing.
Hovering above, Tony fired two laser beams from his palms, melting the ground before the freezing spell could reach the shooter.
Loki spotted scattered stones nearby and directed his scepter at them, launching them towards the shooter with a forceful sweep.
Dirty from his fall, Kingpin extended his hand towards the flying stones and used his suction to counteract their momentum, causing them to hover mid-air.
Loki didn’t look back but stomped the ground lightly. The ice continued to advance, sending shards flying towards Kingpin.
Kingpin shielded his face with one hand, showing no intention of dodging. His body was mostly solid muscle, and this attack wouldn’t be enough to take him down.
Seeing everyone covering for him, the shooter, Rambo, gritted his teeth and steadied himself. He activated turret mode.
Rambo’s heavy gun expanded, steel supports extending from its sides into the ground. The gun’s barrel began to rotate, and a larger cannon emerged from its center.
The terrifying cannon fire blasted towards Loki, who dodged and disappeared from sight.
“Above!” Jarvis’s sensors quickly detected Loki.
Rambo looked up to see Loki directly above, forming a transparent rune array under his right hand. Having survived countless battles, Rambo wasn’t intimidated.
Rambo didn’t dodge, using all his strength to lift the gun barrel upwards.
As Rambo’s gun aligned, Loki’s spell was ready. A massive freezing ray shot from the rune array, far more powerful than Tony’s lasers.
Seeing the ice shards stop, Kingpin opened his eyes just in time to witness this. Even as an Earthling, Kingpin felt a surge of adrenaline.
With a snort, he inhaled deeply, creating another powerful suction aimed at the freezing ray, diverting a portion of its energy.
Tony’s reinforcements finally arrived—an army of drones. Under Jarvis’s precise control, their lasers charged and fired simultaneously, further weakening Loki’s spell.
Despite their combined efforts, the remaining portion of Loki’s attack was still lethal.
“You’ve been strengthened, go now!” a female voice called from behind.
A ninja dressed in a Leaf Village uniform, glowing with golden light, darted forward using instant movement techniques. Earth Release: Earth Wall!
A sturdy earth wall rose, shielding Rambo just in time.
Tony’s HUD revealed two women at the back of the battlefield. One woman had two chains, one golden connecting to the ninja and another blue linking her to the other woman.
The connected woman performed rapid hand movements, black and red energy swirling between her palms.
Witchcraft: Life Link! Witchcraft: Elemental Repulsion!
Red energy passed through a large block of ice, accurately hitting Rambo and the ninja, linking their life forces to the witch’s red gem.
Black energy targeted Loki, weakening his control over energy and increasing his spell costs.
The spell duration ended, and the remaining freezing ray hit the ground, shattering into ice crystals that spread across the battlefield.
Under the interference of the ice crystals, even Jarvis’s sensors failed, leaving Tony’s HUD blank. Tony had to open his visor and watch the surroundings closely to guard against a surprise attack from Loki.
