Marvel Rise of Lord God Chapter 7

Mission Preparation

After selecting a world, Qi Yun returned to the Marvel Universe. During his absence, five days had passed in this universe.

In the distant Middle East, Tony had completed his proudest creation and achieved a significant milestone: constructing armor with his bare hands.

Mark I Personal Armor (Prototype)

Description: Height: 2.4m, Width: 1.5m, Length: 0.7m. It was equipped with a flamethrower, micro-missile launcher, and melee blades. Powered by a miniature reactor, the shell is made from recycled special alloy.

Attack Methods: Melee weapons, flame projection, micro-missiles

Attack Power: 0-300

Defense Power: 30

Evaluation: A primary killing machine with feeble sustained combat capabilities, poor defense, and slow movement.

“Maybe it would make a good toy for my son.” — Han Xiao.

Rating: Blue tier 21 points (Note: Blue tier items are rated from 10-40)

Seeing the information on the item, Tony’s face fell. Han Xiao’s comment seemed flippant.

A toy for his son? He wasn’t worried about accidentally sending his son to heaven.

“Wow, Tony, you’re too strong,” Yinsen, touching the armor, exclaimed, “Is this a personal armor? Every man’s dream!”

Yinsen’s compliment brightened Tony’s mood. At least Yinsen gave him some credit.

“It’s alright. The equipment here is just too primitive; it’s just making do,” Tony waved it off and got into character. “Help me put it on. We’re going to break out with this thing!”

“No problem!” Yinsen cheerfully responded.

He had participated significantly in the manufacturing process, so helping Tony gear up was no problem.

A few minutes later, Tony was fully armored, and the two awaited their food delivery—killing anyone they could during their escape would be a bonus, making it a bit safer.

Right on cue at noon, the delivery guy arrived on time, and Tony heard him from a distance.

Giving Yinsen a look, Tony positioned himself by the door, waiting for the opportunity.

Now!

Tony judged the position, drove the armor straight through the wall with a mighty crash, and slashed down with the blade.

Caught off guard, the terrorist was decapitated, his blood arcing through the air and splattering on Tony.

“Yinsen! Stay behind me! Charge!” Tony didn’t pause for a second and rushed towards the exit.

Yinsen picked up a dropped firearm and closely followed behind Tony, using the armor as a shield.

The loud noise of their escape alerted all the terrorists, who blocked the door.

Bullets pinged harmlessly off the armor.

Tony raised his right hand; the flamethrower activated!

A stream of fire writhed through the air, igniting many of the terrorists.

Despite the armor’s crude make, its stability, enhanced by his skills, kept the flames going.

Enduring the high heat from the flamethrower, Tony, with Yinsen in tow, took advantage of the distracted terrorists and broke through to the outside.

During the escape, Tony’s armor was pockmarked with numerous dents from grenade blasts.

As for RPGs, had one hit him, Tony would have been dead inside the armor; fortunately, the terrorists’ poor skills meant Tony could still run.

“Tony! They’re coming out!” Yinsen glanced back at the crowd surging like water.

“I know! Don’t stop! Keep running!” Tony shouted back, glancing behind him, his observation limited to his eyesight.

Suddenly, the armor’s back opened, and two micro-missiles extended.

Tony took a deep breath and held it, aiming solely with his eyesight, which was far from ideal.

Whiz—a missile fired, slicing through the air and accurately hitting the crowd, exploding and taking out a bunch at the forefront.

“Damn!” Tony cursed under his breath; he wasn’t aiming for those guys. After all, wiping them all out with only two missiles was impossible!

Dodging an RPG and braving the shrapnel, Tony kept his eyes fixed on the gate.

The last missile was launched with maximum mechanical affinity, carrying Tony’s hope.

This time, Tony didn’t miss. The missile struck the gate directly.

The explosion broke the gate, blocking the road with debris and hindering the pursuers.

This wouldn’t altogether remove the threat, but it bought Tony some time.

Once they had put some distance between themselves and the camp, the signal jamming wore off, and Tony urgently broadcasted a request on a specific channel.

In the past, he had given the military so much money for nothing; this channel would soon bring reinforcements.

A few steps further, Tony stopped.

“Yinsen, help me out of this thing!” Tony shouted. “It’s too conspicuous.

!”

“Okay.” Yinsen stowed the firearm behind his back and pulled Tony out.

After coming out, Tony slapped the lower half of the armor, and a locator popped out from inside, landing in his hand.

With this crucial item, Tony was not worried about the reinforcements finding him.

After fiddling with the armor, Tony activated the self-destruct switch and followed Yinsen, beginning their flight.

The armor remained stationary with the loss of power from the miniature reactor.

Soon, terrorists driving a pickup truck caught up, the colossal armor catching their attention first.

Gathering around the armor and finding Tony gone, the sub-leader slapped the armor’s shell and spat.

He waved his hand, signaling his men to continue tracking Tony using the traces he had left.

Guessing it was about time, Tony pressed the red button on the side of the locator.

A signal emitted from his hand, accessed by the armor’s interior. Upon receiving the signal, part of the armor began to function on the remaining residual energy.

Seconds later, Tony heard a massive explosion from afar, the shockwave kicking up dust from the ground and obscuring the sky.

Yinsen, stunned for a moment, turned to look. From here, he could see the dust raised by the explosion. It seemed Tony’s contingency was quite fierce.

Tony slapped Yinsen, “Hurry up, let’s get to safety first. If you want to see fireworks, I’ll show you some that look much better than this explosion!”

Meanwhile, although the military had yet to act on the distress signal, S.H.I.E.L.D had sent troops ahead of them.

The dispatched units split into two groups: one to rescue them based on Tony’s signal and the other fully armed, heading in the same direction to intercept the pursuing vehicles, easily identifiable even from the air.
