“What do you mean?” The fleet commander felt something was off.
“Headquarters wants us to take Unit One back,” the head said awkwardly.
“What! If we take it back, how will we launch the attack?” The captain was speechless.
“Alright, take it back. The Supreme Space is more important than one world. This world gets to stay for a while longer,” the captain decided to prioritize the greater good.
“Understood!” The head left, relieved.
The captain walked to the fleet’s command center, reflecting silently. No one remembered why they opposed the Supreme Space, as the conflict had become a tradition.
“Hope you can hold on a bit longer. Being invincible gets boring,” the captain muttered with a cruel smile.
The fleet’s inactive cloaking device activated again, casting an undetectable barrier over the world before them.

Called surface because it only detected up to a hundred meters underground—useful in a world like the Frozen World, untouched by oil drilling.
In other worlds, such shallow fuel would have long been extracted.
