Marvel Saiyan Chapter 107

The Green Goblin Armor

“Food?”

After fusing with the genes of the mysterious creature, Norman Osborn’s once terminally ill body was now brimming with vitality. The genetic disease that had plagued his family for generations was completely cured, his energy was boundless, and his mind sharper than ever. Aside from his inhuman appearance, he had never felt better.

Inside his body, a new organ had formed—a reactor-like organ capable of consuming radioactive materials. His muscular, nervous, endocrine, circulatory, and digestive systems had all undergone a profound transformation, designed to harness near-limitless atomic energy.

Norman Osborn, as he stood now, barely resembled a human.

He swallowed the radioactive material whole, and the reactor in his body immediately began to digest it, releasing an immense amount of nuclear energy that was absorbed by his organs.

The once frail, bedridden figure of Norman Osborn began to bulk up visibly, his skeletal frame filling out with muscle. His entire body became covered in hardened black scales, and sharp dorsal spines burst through his back. A long tail swayed behind him.

After absorbing the nuclear energy, his monstrous transformation resumed. Unfortunately, the amount of energy he had consumed wasn’t enough to achieve the enormous size of the mysterious creature. If he wanted that kind of power, he would need more radiation!

“I no longer need this pathetic food to gain energy. Nuclear power—only nuclear power can make me stronger!”

He licked each of his fingers, making sure not to miss a single crumb.

Unlike the lizard serum, which caused new personalities to emerge, Norman Osborn retained full control over his mind. The genes injected into him subtly influenced him but never overtook his consciousness.

In fact, Norman welcomed these changes. His former human personality, he believed, was no longer fit for his powerful, perfect new body.

Dr. Radha shivered. When reviewing the data on that mysterious creature, he had suspected it. How could a being of such enormous size sustain itself?

A blue whale, for instance, consumes roughly four tons of food per day. Scaling that up, if the mysterious creature had a similar diet, it would need to eat around 2,000 tons of food daily. That was impossible; even if the creature spent all its time hunting, it wouldn’t be able to replenish the energy it used.

Now it made sense—this creature consumed radioactive material. That’s how it grew to such monstrous proportions.

“Find all the nuclear power plants and missile bases around New York City,” Norman said, his voice dripping with greed. He knew his body hadn’t yet reached its full potential. With a steady supply of nuclear energy, he could grow even stronger.

Dr. Radha’s pupils contracted as he quickly realized Norman’s plan. Such a bold, reckless scheme would be suicidal. Attacking a nuclear power plant was one thing, but breaching a missile base? Those were among the most heavily fortified locations in the entire country.

Only someone as powerful as Broly could attempt such a thing.

“That’s too dangerous, Mr. Osborn. Maybe we could start by purchasing some materials on the market instead,” Radha suggested cautiously.

“Are you questioning my strength, Freddy?” Norman’s voice grew harsher.

“N-no, of course not, Mr. Osborn… It’s just that purchasing would be a more stable option,” Radha stammered.

As a military contractor, Osborn Corp had the legal means to purchase nuclear materials. They couldn’t obtain weapons-grade uranium, but they could acquire yellowcake, a type of uranium concentrate.

“You’re either foolish enough to think that Osborn Corp can still make those purchases, or you believe I’m ignorant of what’s happening outside and are trying to deceive me,” Norman snarled, radiating an overwhelming killing intent that caused Dr. Radha to collapse to the floor in fear.

Although Norman had been paralyzed, seemingly unconscious, he had been fully aware the entire time. Through Radha, he learned everything that had happened.

Osborn Corp was finished. There was no way they could buy nuclear materials now.

“Yes… Mr. Osborn… I’ll begin the search right away. Osborn Corp’s database might have relevant information. We once won contracts for intercontinental missile maintenance from the Pentagon,” Radha said quickly, desperate to prove his worth. He felt that if he hesitated any longer, Norman would kill him.

The mysterious creature had an acute sense of territorial invasion. It could instinctively detect threats that entered its domain. Norman, now infused with that creature’s genes, had inherited this ability.

When Broly had set foot in New York City, Norman’s animalistic instincts had awakened. Those instincts were urging him, almost frantically, to drive Broly out of his territory.

He had sensed the chaos caused by the lizard creatures and the battle between Broly and MK2 as clearly as if he had been there himself.

When Broly unleashed his full power, Norman’s instincts had recoiled, momentarily frightened. Then, they were replaced by a burning fury that seemed to ignite his entire body.

His genes could not tolerate being weaker than Broly.

Norman walked over to a bookshelf and twisted a hidden mechanism. Two rows of shelves slid smoothly aside, revealing a metallic passage leading deep underground.

“My preparations run far deeper than anyone knows,” he said with a twisted grin as he stepped into the passage.

The underground beneath the Osborn estate had been hollowed out long ago, housing more than one secret laboratory. This one was Norman Osborn’s most clandestine lab, part of his backup plan for the lizard serum.

Standing ominously in the lab was a grotesque suit of power armor, very different from Tony Stark’s MK series. This armor had a menacing, almost mythological design, like something out of European folklore—a true goblin’s armor. Next to it was a glider, shaped like a winged board, and several pumpkin-shaped bombs neatly arranged on the side.

Norman smashed open a storage unit and pulled out a vial of serum.

The liquid inside was a stunning shade of green, sparkling like an emerald.

“Trash,” he muttered, crushing the vial in his hand, letting the serum drip through his fingers. These enhancement serums were all failures, offering limited power increases but coming with many side effects.

“The current me is perfect. I will become the god of this new world!”

Norman Osborn threw back his head and laughed maniacally.
