Broly flew along the East River using his flight technique, and after moving out of everyone’s sight, he switched back to the Nimbus Cloud.
Because dealing with the Lizard had taken some time, it was already late when he arrived at the farm.
Cade Eagle was busy in the kitchen, wearing an apron. The intense heat from the stove flared as he handled a large frying pan with heat-resistant gloves, quickly cooking large pieces of beef. The beef, marinated with oregano, thyme, and rosemary, released an enticing aroma under the high heat.
Ordinary cooking methods couldn’t satisfy the incredible appetites of two Saiyans, so Cade had to use this method to cook the meat quickly. He was tired of Broly’s half-cooked, gamey, roasted whole cows.
Kakarot was placing large platter-sized dishes on the dining table outside the villa.
Broly had found a massive tree in the primeval forest, cut a section of the trunk, and split it to make this large dining table. It was now filled with hearty dishes, mostly large cuts of meat and a whole roasted lamb in the center.
The assassins on the farm had finished their work and were lining up for dinner. Cade didn’t mistreat them; their dinner was also plentiful, with corn cakes, large steaks, vegetable salad, and each person receiving a bottle of beer.
Under Broly’s firm control, the assassins had gradually forgotten their past lives of living on the edge and integrated into the farm.
“Broly is back!”
Kakarot sensed Broly’s presence from afar.
Soon, Broly appeared in the sky, landing with the metal crate and the Lizard. He casually tossed them onto the ground, wiped his hands on his clothes, grabbed a fist-sized piece of hot beef, and stuffed it into his mouth, chewing.
He had devoured most of the large plate of beef in just a few breaths.
“You sneaky Broly!” Kakarot quickly jumped onto the table, grabbing the remaining two pieces of beef and stuffing them into her mouth.
Cade placed a pot of cooked beef aside, turned off the stove, and picked up a butcher’s knife, examining the Lizard wrapped in metal sheets to decide where to start.
“Boss, what should I do with this thing? Stew it or roast it?”
Broly often brought strange animals to fight Kakarot and those that were killed ended up in the kitchen for dinner. Whether a lizard or a crocodile, this creature seemed unlucky to be brought in during dinner time, destined for the grill.
“Uh, this is actually a human.”
Broly took a big gulp of iced orange juice from the table and wiped his greasy mouth.
“This is Tessa’s mentor, Dr. Connors. He turned himself into this after inventing a serum. His news should be on TV by now.”
He tore off a leg from the roasted lamb, ripped off the crispy meat, and wrapped it in lettuce before eating it. The vegetables grown by Solar Flare were indeed delicious, crisp and sweet, even Broly, who preferred meat, enjoyed them.
“Clang.”
Cade dropped his steel knife in shock.
“What do we do?”
The Lizard, regaining consciousness after being knocked out by Broly, began to struggle violently. His sharp claws scratched at the metal wrapping him, creating a piercing sound.
“Roar! I’ll tear you apart!”
Broly swung the lamb leg, infused with energy, at his head, knocking him out again.
“He has been influenced by the lizard genes, becoming a madman. But I might have a way to fix this problem,” Broly said, chewing a piece of meat.
After injecting the lizard serum, Dr. Connors seemed to develop a new personality. This personality inherited Dr. Connors’ intelligence and combined it with the lizard’s primal ferocity. Dr. Connors considered himself a superior species and intended to transform all of New York’s population into reptilian beings.
When Broly captured Dr. Connors, he had already planned how to restore his sanity. After all, a lunatic bent on turning all humans into lizards was of no use.
Broly wasn’t afraid, but if Dr. Connors accidentally turned Cade and the assassins into lizard people, it would be a significant problem.
This situation had occurred in Dragon Ball. Before becoming the Guardian of Earth, Kami developed an evil persona due to the influence of Earthlings.
Unlike Kami and Piccolo’s symbiotic relationship, this new personality emerged due to the lizard gene injection. Eliminating it shouldn’t kill Dr. Connors. Moreover, his aura hadn’t fused with Dr. Connors’ like Peter’s, allowing Broly to distinguish the two personalities clearly.
When Kami possessed ordinary people, he was still sealed by the Evil Containment Wave. Although he voluntarily separated from his evil side, the Evil Containment Wave should also have the ability to extract one consciousness from a target for sealing.

Broly threw away the cleaned lamb leg, wiped his greasy hands, and aimed at Dr. Connors.

“Fortunately, it was only the first day after the injection. If the personalities had begun to merge over time, even the Evil Containment Wave wouldn’t save him.”
Broly approached Dr. Connors and poked his head, then unwrapped the metal binding him.
Dr. Connors was still in his lizard form, but his aura had weakened by nearly a third. Like Kami, the evil spirit took part of his power, though not as severely.
Dr. Connors slowly woke up, clutching his head in pain. Being forcibly separated from a consciousness had aftereffects, and the evil deeds committed while in lizard form flooded his mind.
“What… what have I done?”
He picked up the fallen butcher’s knife and aimed it at his throat.
