The only disappointment for Mokutsuki was that the number of times he could use the ‘returning student’ feature didn’t increase with the number of disciples; it remained once per day. He had hoped that if feeding Shisui earned him 50 chakra points, then feeding three disciples would net him 150 chakra points daily—far faster than just teaching.
Still, having three disciples meant he could rotate the opportunities for big rewards and slow down the growth of the emotional threshold needed for significant returns.
“And the current growth rate isn’t bad,” Mokutsuki thought as he checked his panel.

Compared to when he first crossed over, Mokutsuki had increased his chakra by 105 points, with 90 coming from teaching and the ‘returning student’ feature and 15 from his own training and the ‘student training returns’.
And this was just Mokutsuki’s progress over five days, as most of his rewards were various jutsu.
If Mokutsuki focused solely on increasing chakra, he could gain at least 100 chakra points per week just from teaching, not counting ‘returning student’ rewards.
But Mokutsuki felt it was more beneficial to mix in some A-level rewards or half A and half B-level rewards at this stage.
The jutsu rewards from teaching were directly mastered, not just learned, meaning they were ready for combat. If it was a jutsu with an attribute he didn’t already master, it came with the necessary nature transformation knowledge. If he received duplicates, it increased his proficiency—very considerate.
If Mokutsuki had to spend time learning these techniques, it would consume a significant amount of time, and figuring out training methods would also be a problem.
However, once he had a more comprehensive range of techniques, Mokutsuki planned to focus more on chakra, as it was the foundation of a ninja’s power.
“Teacher, I’m done!” Obito exclaimed, eager to learn the new jutsu, giving his test his utmost effort.
“I’m done too,” Guy reported, not wanting to be left behind.
“Two at once…” Mokutsuki was glad that this was the world of Naruto, where the Clone Technique was commonplace.
Mokutsuki created a shadow clone and said, “You, go teach Guy the principles of the Leaf Whirlwind and demonstrate it a few times.”
Since one wanted to learn taijutsu and the other ninjutsu, Mokutsuki couldn’t teach both simultaneously. He decided to split the time between his main body teaching Obito and the clone teaching Guy. After half an hour, they would switch.
Mokutsuki was not going to be just a personal teacher to one student; he intended to share his warmth with each of his disciples.
Mokutsuki, just as he did with Shisui, meticulously broke down the technique and explained it in detail, almost hand-holding through the process.

He speculated that rewards from the same disciple couldn’t be used to generate more rewards through the ‘returning student’ feature.
Mokutsuki mentally noted this hidden rule.
“Just not the one with 44 hand signs,” Mokutsuki hoped, remembering the Water Dragon Bullet used by Kakashi and Zabuza, and chuckled.
While in the anime it might have looked cool to perform so many signs, in reality, any jutsu requiring that many signs would be hard to pull off unless someone was holding the opponent off.
Luckily, the system’s proficient level didn’t disappoint—he only needed six hand signs. With more practice, the signs could be further simplified.
After teaching Obito for half an hour, Mokutsuki went to guide Guy, letting the clone instruct Obito.
After teaching both, Mokutsuki would also guide Shisui, continuously rotating among the three.
By noon, Mokutsuki personally caught four fish from the river, roasted them over a fire, and shared them as lunch.
“This is so delicious! Teacher Mokutsuki, if you opened a barbecue shop, you’d have a great business,” Obito praised while eating.
Shisui and Guy nodded in agreement.
“Be careful not to swallow any fish bones,” Mokutsuki said with a smile, shaking his head.
Was it delicious? Mokutsuki figured it was probably average since he rarely barbecued and lacked expertise.
The reason it tasted good was likely due to the pleasant atmosphere, which added to the experience.
Shisui usually ate alone, so eating with a group in the wild was a novel experience.
Obito usually ate with his grandmother, and Guy with his father.
The novelty of grilled fish, combined with the enjoyable setting, made the ordinary meal taste extraordinary.
After resting for an hour post-lunch, Mokutsuki led the group back to training.
“This jutsu isn’t that hard after all,” Obito said, feeling accomplished as he released a round little fire dragon. It felt much more accessible than learning the Fireball Jutsu.
Coincidentally, Shisui was also practising the Dragon Flame Jutsu, releasing a fierce-looking fire dragon.
Seeing Shisui’s menacing fire dragon with fangs, Obito quietly controlled his cute little fire dragon to hide behind him.
Wiping off the sweat from countless Whirlwind Kicks, Guy saw this and approached to comfort him, “It’s okay, small fire dragons are cute. They’ll grow strong like Teacher Mokutsuki’s.”
Despite the comfort, for some reason, Obito felt a surge of frustration and discomfort.
This frustration reinvigorated Obito, who had planned to take a break, prompting him to resume his training with renewed energy.
Seeing Obito’s determination, Guy quickly followed suit after a brief rest.
“These two really complement each other,” Mokutsuki, observing from the side, struggled to contain his amusement. He found that Obito and Guy indeed had a unique synergy.
After training until dinner time, Mokutsuki sent them home, informing them to return the next day.
Sunday was another full day of training, yielding a ‘returning student’ reward of 50 chakra points.
