Ninja School Teacher, I Can Become Stronger by Teaching Chapter 13

Namikaze Minato, the Man Who Explodes on Sight

“Yoru, you completed the mission well. These are from Lord Danzo.” Hirashimizu handed two scrolls to Mokutsuki.

Mokutsuki accepted the scrolls with a calm nod, saying nothing. There wasn’t much need for conversation between ROOT members.

Hirashimizu didn’t say anything more, either. After handing the scrolls to Mokutsuki, he quickly disappeared to avoid exposing Mokutsuki’s identity.

Sensing Hirashimizu’s chakra fading into the distance, Mokutsuki returned to his room and opened the scrolls.

One scroll contained a Fire Release jutsu, specifically the Great Dragon Fire Technique.

The other scroll contained Danzo’s commendation for Mokutsuki’s work and his latest instructions.

Danzo first acknowledged Mokutsuki’s work, praising his initiative and swift integration into the ninja academy’s decisions. As a reward, he granted a powerful Fire Release jutsu.

Next, Danzo advised Mokutsuki not to get complacent, to continue developing at the academy, to keep a close watch on Uchiha Shisui, and also monitor other Uchiha students as much as possible.

Lastly, Danzo dangled a carrot in front of Mokutsuki, saying that if he continued to perform well, Danzo would facilitate his promotion to Special Jonin, with a significant position at the academy.

After reading, Mokutsuki incinerated both scrolls with a small flame.

“Special Jonin, significant position, huh.” Mokutsuki chuckled.

If it were the original Mokutsuki, he might have been motivated by Danzo’s praise and promises, but for Mokutsuki…

The Fire Release reward was a technique he already knew, and he had no desire to become a Special Jonin.

So, Mokutsuki felt nothing but amusement. He just wanted to laugh.

Mokutsuki was about to start his own training while his shadow clone read books when he suddenly realized he had finished all the ninjutsu books at home.

After a moment’s thought, he decided to visit the Konoha Library to borrow more books.

Konoha had a large library with various books and materials, including some ninjutsu, established during the Second Hokage’s era.

Of course, it only had basic D-rank and C-rank ninjutsu; forbidden or high-level jutsu couldn’t be found there, and borrowing ninjutsu wasn’t cheap.

But that didn’t concern Mokutsuki, as he wasn’t there to borrow ninjutsu. He was looking for materials related to ninjutsu and sealing techniques, specifically on restraining seals.

Given that obtaining new ninjutsu was much faster through teaching rewards, he wanted to try researching ways to break the Curse Seal of Ultimate Binding placed on him.

Though this curse seal wasn’t as nasty as the Caged Bird Seal, it still felt uncomfortable to have a seal placed by someone else.

Walking through Konoha’s bustling streets, Mokutsuki felt a bit dazed.

Having been in the Naruto world for over half a month, this was the first time Mokutsuki had come out for a walk in person. He usually sent his shadow clones even for grocery shopping.

Due to his special identity and the inherent dangers of this world, Mokutsuki often felt a lack of security.

Having trained and learned a lot in the past half month, Mokutsuki finally felt a bit more confident, feeling less likely to die unexpectedly.

At the library, Mokutsuki handed his ninja ID to the duty ninja, which recorded basic information like his name and ninja registration number.

This library was only open to ninjas.

After verifying the information, the duty ninja nodded, allowing Mokutsuki to enter.

Just as Mokutsuki was about to search for the materials he needed, he saw a familiar figure approaching—a man with blond hair and a warm smile.

Sensing Mokutsuki’s gaze, Minato Namikaze looked back, nodding slightly. Mokutsuki nodded back, and they passed each other.

[Name: Minato Namikaze]

[Chakra: 40,000]

[Potential: S]

[Evaluation: Kills Jonin like mowing grass. One look can make you explode.]

Outwardly, Mokutsuki’s expression remained unchanged, but inside, he was stunned.

This was the first time he had seen someone with over ten thousand chakra points, and Minato had forty thousand—equivalent to eighty six-year-old Shisuis.

The evaluation was also terrifyingly high, suggesting that Minato could easily kill a Jonin.

At this time, Minato didn’t have the title of Yellow Flash. To the public, he was just a highly capable Jonin. His mentor, Jiraiya of the Legendary Sannin, was more famous and a prime candidate for Hokage.

Thinking it over, Mokutsuki felt the evaluation wasn’t wrong. A master of the Flying Thunder God Technique like Minato indeed wouldn’t find it difficult to kill ordinary Jonin.

Speedy ninjas like him were incredibly strong when facing weaker opponents.

“If only Minato already had a son in the academy,” Mokutsuki thought wistfully. Then he could find a way to get close to Minato.

He actually wanted to befriend Minato because of his expertise in sealing techniques, which Mokutsuki coveted.

Cursed seals were essentially a branch of sealing techniques.

Having an expert like Minato as a consultant would make breaking the Curse Seal of Ultimate Binding much easier.

As for Kushina, her status as a Jinchuriki was too sensitive, and Mokutsuki didn’t want to invite trouble.

After borrowing two books on sealing techniques and three unrelated books, Mokutsuki registered them, paid the fee, and left the library.

In the southern Konoha forest, Mokutsuki was conducting pre-exam training with his disciples.

“Don’t forget what you said before. You must pass the theory exam tomorrow,” Mokutsuki reminded Obito and Might Guy.

“Of course! If I don’t pass, I’ll accept any punishment you give, Mokutsuki-sensei,” Obito said confidently.

Although they spent most of their time training ninjutsu and only occasionally doing theory and practice exams, Obito had just scored thirty points on an old exam paper.

From his past experience, this score was already several points above passing.

The ninja academy’s passing line was half the average score, and the average score was usually around fifty. He felt secure.

“Right! If I don’t pass, I’ll run eight hundred laps around Konoha!” Guy shouted energetically, having also scored thirty points.

“Not only will I pass the theory exam, but I’ll also get first place in the practical exam!” Having been taught by Mokutsuki for over half a month, Obito felt he could easily defeat his previous self.

“I won’t hand over first place without a fight!” Guy declared, unwilling to back down.

Mokutsuki smiled, saying nothing. However, knowing the overall strength of the fourth grade, he was aware they might not get first place because a student from the Hyuga clan in Class 4-1 was quite strong.

That student had an A-rank potential, but neither Obito nor Guy had yet realized their full potential. Obito hadn’t activated his Sharingan, and Guy hadn’t mastered the Eight Gates.

However, Mokutsuki couldn’t be sure, given the unpredictability at lower levels.

Looking at Shisui, who was quietly reading, Mokutsuki was certain Shisui’s scores would be overwhelming, taking first place in both theory and practice across all grades.

If cross-grade competitions were allowed, Shisui might even be the best in the entire school.

“I wonder if the system rewards teachers based on their students’ exam results,” Mokutsuki mused.

Mokutsuki transmigrated into the Naruto world, becoming an ordinary Chunin teacher at the Konoha Ninja Academy, as well as a member of the Root organization.

Fortunately, he awakened the Teacher System, allowing him to grow stronger through teaching. To avoid becoming Danzo's pawn, Mokutsuki diligently taught to enhance his own strength.

"Successfully completed an A-rated teaching session for the first time, received a reward—Mastery of Fire Release Chakra Nature Transformation."

"Under your guidance, your disciple trained hard and significantly improved their overall strength, received a reward—Sage Body!"

From then on, the ninja world had a teacher who was solely focused on making his students stronger.

Shisui did not have his eyes taken by Danzo, and he successfully helped the Uchiha clan avoid the calamity of annihilation.

When Might Guy encountered the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist, he was no longer powerless as he watched Might Duy open the Eight Gates and fight desperately.

Obito overcame Uchiha Madara's scheme, did not succumb to madness, and remained the enthusiastic boy who wanted to become Hokage and help others.
