In the East Blue, at Windmill Village, there’s a bustling tavern filled with pirates who are merrily drinking. At the bar, a man with red hair wearing a straw hat stands out, especially since two young boys accompany him.
One of these boys is Rokujin, full name Monkey D. Rokujin! He is not from this world but has traveled here, falling into the sea and being rescued by Garp.
Upon learning this is the world of One Piece, Rokujin decided to “hitch a ride” by becoming Garp’s adopted grandson. Sitting next to him, of course, is Garp’s actual grandson, Monkey D. Luffy! However, Rokujin is interested in the pirates present, especially one of the Four Emperors, Red-Haired Shanks, along with his crew members like Benn Beckman and Lucky Roo.
Though Rokujin knew Shanks was approachable, experiencing it firsthand still shocked him. To survive in the One Piece world, Rokujin would rely on the system he had previously awakened to.

“Thanks!” Luffy, seeing the juice, took a sip and was quite satisfied. “Haha, see! You’re still just a kid!” Shanks laughed as he slapped the bar, provoking Luffy to shout, “That’s low, Shanks!” The laughter of the crew filled the tavern.
As Luffy grew more agitated, he exclaimed, “Don’t laugh! What the heck, Shanks, you cheapskate!” Then, Shanks handed another drink to Rokujin, “Here, Rokujin, in a few more years, you’ll be able to drink alcohol!” Being a few years older than Luffy, Rokujin accepted the drink and took a sip.
The taste was pure but not very pleasant—without technology and hard work, the taste just wasn’t there. “Rokujin, what do you plan to do in the future?” Luffy asked as he sipped his drink, seemingly enjoying it. “Join the Marines, specifically to catch you, pirate!” Rokujin joked.
“Hmph!”
“I’m not scared of you! I’m going to be the King of the Pirates!”
Luffy declared, standing on a stool with his hands on his hips. “Hahaha!” At these words, everyone burst into laughter again. Suddenly, a loud bang at the door silenced the tavern. The door was kicked open, landing at the feet of the three.
All eyes turned to the entrance. “So this is what passes for pirates? All just a bunch of foolish faces!” A tall man with black hair and a long sword slung low on his hip walked in, followed by several bandits.
Rokujin’s eyes lit up with recognition: this was Sig, the leader of the Sig Bandit Group, one of the few who dared to cross one of the Four Emperors.

Shanks suddenly raised a liquor bottle as he was about to act, smiling, “Sorry about that. It looks like we finished all the liquor. My apologies!” “If you don’t mind, this bottle is for you.
It’s still unopened!” As Sig reached for the bottle, he clenched his left fist and smashed it onto it.
“Bang!” The liquor bottle shattered! Liquor and fragments scattered all over Shanks. “I’m a wanted criminal with a bounty of 8 million Berries; a bottle of liquor isn’t even enough for me to rinse my mouth with; don’t underestimate me!” Sig growled. At that moment, Shanks’ eyes darkened with a flash of killing intent, but he quickly returned to normal, looking at the shattered bottle on the ground and said calmly, “I’m sorry, Miss Makino, the floor is all wet now, do you have a mop?”
“Ah… let me clean it up!” Makino quickly ran out from behind the counter. Before she could get there, Sig suddenly drew the long sword from his waist and struck down at the items on the bar. “Bang! Bang! Bang…” Bottles and glasses were all smashed by the blade, scattering across the floor. Sig then disdainfully said, “It seems you like sweeping; now you can wipe to your heart’s content!”
“Cut it out; there’s no fun without liquor! Let’s go!” He scoffed, leaving with a parting insult, “You weaklings!”
Next to them, Luffy was grinding his teeth in anger, staring at the backs of the bandits, his hand trembling with the drink he was holding. Just as the bandits were about to leave, a voice suddenly stopped them. “Stop!” Rokujin stood up and called out firmly.
“Huh?” Turning around, Sig realized that the one who had stopped them was just a kid barely old enough to shave, mocking him, “Kid! Are you looking for death?”
“You broke my friend’s bottle; either pay up or apologize!” Rokujin stated firmly. His words, however, only provoked laughter from the bandits. “Hahaha! He dares to ask our boss to pay!” “This young brat must be confused!” “Exactly, boss, let me teach him a lesson!”
Meanwhile, Makino called out worriedly, “Rokujin, come back!” At the same time. Although Shanks and the others didn’t speak, their eyes were fixed on Sig and his group, ready to intervene.
