“Was it you who attacked Drum Kingdom?” Rokujin asked bluntly, looking at the faint smoke rising from the island.
“Yes, it was. Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Marshall D. Teach. When you return, tell the Navy about what I did. Hopefully, it’ll raise my bounty!” Teach said with a smile. That was his true motive.
“Heh!” Rokujin chuckled without responding, looking at Teach with interest. Blackbeard was also part of the D family. Unlike the known D family members who symbolize integrity and justice, Blackbeard seemed to embody darkness, just like his Devil Fruit. He was a perfect negative example!
Judging from his words, Blackbeard didn’t seem intent on attacking him.
“Until we meet again!” Rokujin said, turning away. He had no intention of meddling with Drum Kingdom’s destruction, and it might even be good for them.

A few days later, Rokujin finally reached the edge of Alabasta. All he could see was a vast yellow desert. A gust of wind lifted countless grains of sand, forming a small tornado under the blazing sun.
“This place is scorching!” Rokujin muttered, stepping into the desert, heading to the nearest town to gather supplies for his journey across the desert to reach the capital.
After a few steps, he noticed a figure in the distance with something gleaming on its head. Upon closer inspection, he saw it was a bald man reflecting the sunlight. This man was none other than Mr. 1.

“Are you the one who defeated Mr. 3 and the others?” Mr. 1’s cold eyes stared at Rokujin, questioning him.
“Yes,” Rokujin smiled, “Were you waiting here for me?”
Just then, the system triggered a new mission:

“Mr. 0 ordered me to kill you. Prepare to die!” Mr. 1, having received confirmation, wasted no time and launched his attack. His arms transformed into sharp blades, and he charged at Rokujin with his arms crossed in front of his chest.
“Atomic Spar!” he shouted.
“Heh!” Rokujin remained calm, casually unleashing a slash imbued with his sword intent. The crimson sword energy shot towards Mr. 1 at high speed.
Mr. 1 sensed a frightening aura from the simple slash, but he still chose to charge forward, believing in his strength. With a roar, he slashed at the sword energy with his bladed arms.
The moment his blade arms touched the sword energy, intense pain shot through them. The sword energy easily sliced through his arms, leaving a flash of crimson, either from the slash itself or Mr. 1’s blood.
“Ah!” Mr. 1 screamed, crouching in pain, his expression twisted as he clutched his severed arms. Blood covered the ground, along with his severed hands.
“Too weak!” Rokujin smirked. A simple attack was enough for those who overly relied on their Devil Fruit powers. During the Paramount War, Mr. 1 was defeated by Mihawk with a basic attack. Although Mihawk never announced his moves, many assumed they were basic attacks. Rokujin didn’t believe Mihawk had no techniques; he might have achieved simplicity in his swordsmanship.
Lost in thought for a moment, Rokujin slowly approached Mr. 1, coldly stating, “It’s time for you to meet your end!”
“Damn it!” Mr. 1’s face changed dramatically. Though he didn’t understand what “end” meant, Rokujin’s murderous intent was clear.
“Cutting Steel!” Mr. 1 stood up, his body covered in blades, each part of his body hardening further, though he couldn’t move freely. Rokujin merely smiled, seeing Mr. 1 standing still for an attack.
Covering his right fist and Zhan Tian with Haki, Rokujin swiftly slashed at Mr. 1’s head. The blade flashed, a blood-red line appearing, separating Mr. 1’s head from his body. The severed head rolled to Rokujin’s feet.

“How boring, standing there to be decapitated!” Rokujin shook his head, picking up Mr. 1’s head. Just as he was about to move on, a familiar figure appeared.
“Rokujin!”
“Ace!”
They called out each other’s names.
Ace had grown taller and more mature since a few years ago.

“I didn’t expect your strength to have grown this much!” Ace approached, surprised. He had come over after hearing the sounds of battle. He thought his Flame-Flame Fruit had made him stronger than Rokujin, but Rokujin’s swordsmanship seemed to have reached an incredible level!
“You’re not weak yourself. I heard you became the Second Division Commander of the Whitebeard Pirates. Grandpa mentioned he wants to teach you a lesson!” Rokujin teased.
“Uh… How is Grandpa?” Ace asked, his face darkening.
“Don’t worry, Grandpa is still the same. He hopes you’ll visit him when you can!”
“I know. I’ll try to visit him. I have something to do right now,” Ace said.
“Alright!” Rokujin didn’t ask further. He knew Ace was chasing Blackbeard, but Blackbeard’s strength wasn’t to be underestimated, and he was growing stronger quickly. Ace was too reckless, and despite Whitebeard’s warnings, he insisted on pursuing Blackbeard, which would eventually lead to the Paramount War.
Rokujin planned to use the war to gain a lot of energy points. After a brief conversation, they decided to travel together towards Alabasta.
