“Zzz… Zzz…”
Electricity continued to ravage the sandstorm, transforming it into a thunderstorm. Shortly after, Crocodile’s voice echoed from within.
“Ah…”
The violent sand gradually dissipated, becoming blackened stones falling from the sky. What was once yellow sand had been charred black by the electricity.
“Thud!”
The crocodile fell heavily to the ground, creating a large crater. In the blink of an eye, Rokujin appeared beside him, securing the Crocodile with Seastone chains.
“Got him!”
At this point, Crocodile was unconscious, and the Seastone nullified his abilities, making him unaware of the outside world.
After dealing with Crocodile, Rokujin prepared to leave. Suddenly, many residents armed with sticks and various weapons surrounded him.
“Release our hero!”
“Yes! Let Crocodile go! He is the hero of Alabasta!”
“Navy! Let him go!”
The sounds of their battle had long attracted the nearby residents. To them, Crocodile was a hero.
“Foolish people! Putting your hopes in a pirate!” Rokujin shouted sternly.
“Move!” He raised his sword and unleashed a slash at the ground, kicking up a large cloud of yellow sand.
“Boom!”
The surrounding people retreated in fear, and those closest were buried in the sand. After a moment, the sand settled, revealing a deep trench several meters long and wide.
Terrified, the residents didn’t dare speak or move, afraid that the reckless Navy officer might kill them.
“Anyone who obstructs me will be charged with attacking a Navy rear admiral!” Rokujin said coldly, brandishing his sword.
“Ugh…”
Hearing this, the people exchanged nervous glances, not daring to move. They fell silent, and some even made way for him.
“Heh.” Rokujin chuckled and was about to drag Crocodile away when a figure in a Navy cloak stepped forward with several other naval officers.

Jean, the leading officer, was a slender, shifty-eyed man. He stepped forward and frowned.
“Which Navy division are you from? How dare you cause trouble in our jurisdiction!”
“East Blue, Rear Admiral Rokujin,” Rokujin replied.
Jean’s face changed, recognising the name.
“Monkey D. Rokujin!” How could he not have heard of this name? A rear admiral from Navy Headquarters, Garp’s grandson and Zephyr’s prized student, hailed as a supernova of the Navy. Many titles belonged to this one person, making him the focus of the entire Navy.
However, the Navy and the Shichibukai reached an agreement, and Jean, as the officer managing this area, couldn’t back down.
“Rear Admiral Rokujin, you manage East Blue, but this region is under our admiral’s jurisdiction. Please hand over Crocodile to me,” Jean said more diplomatically.
But Rokujin had no intention of handing over Crocodile. Smiling, he replied,
“I can manage whatever I want, including East Blue and the Grand Line. What can you do about it?”
“If you’re unhappy, report it to the higher-ups. Now, move!”
Jean’s face turned pale with anger, but he couldn’t say anything. He was no match for Rokujin, and his background was inferior. What could he do?
Rokujin dragged Crocodile away, and neither the Navy officers nor the residents dared utter a word, watching him leave in silence.
After a few minutes, a beautiful figure appeared before Rokujin—it was Nico Robin, who had secretly arrived.
“You’re the one who called me out of the basement, right? Where is my mother?”
“I can tell you, but you mustn’t speak of my actions to anyone,” Rokujin said seriously.
Robin had already suspected some things, so Rokujin wasn’t surprised.
“Alright, I promise,” Robin agreed without hesitation.
“Your mother is alive. I’ve placed her in a safe location. You will reunite when the time is right,” Rokujin explained.
“Where is she?” Robin pressed.
“Even if you knew, what would you do? Can you protect her with your current strength? Together, you’d be more vulnerable,” Rokujin said bluntly.
“…”
Robin fell silent, eventually uttering a soft “Thank you.”
“You will meet again when the time is right,” Rokujin reassured her, then left with Crocodile. Robin stood there, watching his figure disappear.
…
Soon, Rokujin arrived at the palace of Alabasta.
“I’ve captured Crocodile. Now, you must fulfil your promise,” Rokujin said, dragging Crocodile inside.
“It is him!”
“He even defeated a Shichibukai!”
Bell and Chaka were in disbelief that Crocodile had been subdued so quickly.
“Thank you!” Cobra rose and thanked Rokujin solemnly.
“It was just a deal. I want the Poneglyph. Lead me to it,” Rokujin said flatly.
“Alright, follow me,” Cobra said, leading Rokujin to the palace basement, where a heavy Poneglyph was stored.
“This is the Poneglyph we’ve preserved. You can take it anytime,” Cobra said. He had already made a copy, so the original was no longer necessary.
“You can leave now,” Rokujin said.
“Alright,” Cobra said, leaving the basement.
Once alone, Rokujin stored the Poneglyph in his system backpack. Using his sword, he left a hole in the basement wall.

Hearing the commotion, Cobra rushed into the basement, finding Rokujin gone and the Poneglyph missing.
Elsewhere, Rokujin transported Crocodile to the nearby coast, intending to send him to the Impel Down. As he walked, he checked his system interface:
