As they watched the reborn Bisginn disappear into the vast sea, Icey quickly composed himself and began gathering the treasure from Krieg’s pirate fleet.
Hearing that much of it had sunk during the battle, the treasure-obsessed Aqua immediately dove into the sea to retrieve it.
For her, moving freely and seeing clearly in the water was no difficult task.
Icey didn’t bother with her and turned to help King move the floating treasures onto their ship.
As a pirate fleet that had dominated the East Blue for years, Krieg’s treasure hoard far exceeded that of Buggy and Kuro, with countless gold and jewels!
Just moving all these treasures onto the sea restaurant would require considerable time and effort.
So after a short while, Icey and King decided to give up and instead freed the tightly bound members of Krieg’s pirate crew.

What Icey didn’t expect was that the officers sent by the Navy branch were two very familiar faces.
They were Captain Smoker, with a cigar in his mouth, and the Navy hero himself…
Monkey D. Garp!
The Infinite Dream was now very close to Loguetown, just half a day’s sail away.
Given that Krieg was a notorious pirate, it made sense for Smoker, stationed in Loguetown, to come and capture the Krieg Pirates.
But Garp’s appearance was truly unexpected for Icey.
“Long time no see, Garp. What brings you here?” Icey asked directly, voicing his curiosity.
“When I heard a sea restaurant defeated Krieg’s fleet, I figured it had to be you,” Garp said, tossing a donut into his mouth and laughing heartily. “You’ve taken down a big shot this time!”
His laugh contained a hint of surprise.
Although he had long recognized Icey’s potential, he hadn’t expected him to grow from a simple village restaurant owner to someone capable of defeating pirates with bounties in the millions within a few weeks!
This kind of growth rate was comparable to the likes of Kuzan and the other Admirals in training!
“Compared to you, Garp, it’s nothing,” Icey replied with a smile.
“Hahaha! No need to be so modest. Admiral Krieg was the biggest pirate in the East Blue!”
Standing on the gangway between the warship and the Infinite Dream, Garp casually stepped forward and headed towards the restaurant.
“Smoker, let the subordinates handle the pirates and the bounty counting. Come with me. This kid’s cooking is really something!”
You old fart, what do you mean by “this kid doesn’t look like much”?
And this restaurant isn’t your home!
Watching Garp help himself to the restaurant, pour a glass of juice, and start drinking, Icey could only fume inwardly.
“This glass of juice is seven hundred Beli, Aqua, keep track of it.”
As soon as he entered the restaurant, Icey instructed Aqua.
Hearing this, Garp, who hadn’t fully swallowed his juice, spat it out: “Pff! Seven hundred Beli for a glass of juice? You might as well rob me!”
“You said not to be modest or polite,” Icey replied with a grin.
Aqua burst out laughing beside them.
With her keen perception, Aqua instantly sensed that this middle-aged man who seemed close to Icey was incredibly strong.
The invisible, terrifying aura he emitted even made her heart race.
Yet, she hadn’t expected him to be as carefree as Luffy!
“Captain Garp, this is a sea restaurant. Let’s follow their rules,” Smoker said, exhaling a puff of smoke as he started to observe the restaurant’s layout.
“Hello, Captain Smoker. I’ve read a lot about you in the papers.”
As he greeted him, Icey studied Smoker closely.
Compared to the mature and steady Smoker ten years later, this version still had a youthful air.
And he wasn’t accompanied by his aide, Tashigi, indicating they hadn’t met yet.
“Lin Jie, the owner of the sea restaurant Infinite Dream, I’ve heard about your exploits too.”
After a polite handshake, Smoker also sized up the man his age in front of him.
“As a restaurateur, you’ve managed to defeat several notorious East Blue pirates. That’s impressive!”
“Not at all, it’s nothing compared to the pirates you’ve taken down in Loguetown, Captain Smoker.”
After a brief exchange, they all sat around a table.
Icey began introducing Garp and Smoker to the puzzled Aqua and King.
“So you’re Luffy’s grandpa, huh? That explains it!”
Upon learning that Garp was Luffy’s grandfather, Aqua wasn’t shocked. Instead, she nodded with a look of realization.
“Aqua, is it? When I was home on leave, Luffy often mentioned you,” Garp said, completely unaware of the true meaning behind Aqua’s “that explains it.”
Having already drank the juice, Garp decided to let Smoker handle the bill. He quickly finished the remaining juice and placed the empty glass on the table, turning his gaze to King, a hint of surprise in his deep eyes.
“It seems you’ve found two good partners, Icey.”

With Aqua and King’s combined flaws in intelligence and strength, Icey didn’t know what to say and shifted the topic:
“So, Garp, you didn’t come all this way just for a chat, did you?”

“That’s right, I was waiting for you in Loguetown.”
Garp’s smile faded as he looked at Icey seriously, “So, Icey, do you want to join the Navy? With your strength and talent, defeating Krieg’s fleet in just a few weeks is a waste in a sea restaurant!”
Seeing Icey’s hesitant look, he continued, “With your record, you could quickly become a commissioned officer commanding a branch.”
“And if you’re interested, you could go to the headquarters in the Grand Line and learn the powerful Rokushiki techniques!”
