[Wisher has successfully accepted the summoned individual, completing the wish.]
[You may choose one of the following three abilities:]
While Aqua continued to squabble with Meowth, the familiar glow from the wishing pool intensified, and three options slowly appeared before Icey.
As he read the descriptions, his eyes lit up with excitement.
[Dragon’s Final Stroke: Enhances physical attributes, converting power into high-density green energy streams for explosive, instantaneous impact.]
[Cliff Sword: Enhances physical attributes, channeling underground energy to unleash explosive magma pillars at lightning speed.]
[Source Pulse: Enhances physical attributes, increasing water affinity to summon highly destructive high-pressure water cannons.]
Unlike previous options, which often had pitfalls, these three seemed genuinely promising. They enhanced physical attributes and provided powerful offensive capabilities!
With a short burst of excitement, Icey found himself in a difficult dilemma. Ideally, he wanted them all!
Recalling Aqua’s forceful methods, he decided to follow her lead, discarding his pride and attempting a shameless gamble.
For power, a bit of dignity was a small price to pay. Why not try his luck?
After an indescribably awkward maneuver, Icey surprisingly gained an unexpected reward! However, this wasn’t a newfound ability—it was Meowth’s skeptical gaze.
The wishing pool, of course, did not respond, leaving the three options hovering silently. Cursing Aqua inwardly, Icey composed himself and began to analyze the three abilities.
Compared to the other two, Dragon’s Final Stroke seemed more focused on single-target explosive attacks, somewhat redundant given his current high-speed capabilities. It could be more potent if used from the air, but he could not fly at the moment.
Cliff Sword and Source Pulse both offered wide-range destructive effects, useful for clearing small enemies or restricting strong opponents. The primary difference lay in their elemental properties.
Frowning slightly, Icey couldn’t shake the image of Aqua’s smug face from his mind when considering Source Pulse.
“Puhahaha! Didn’t you say you weren’t my most loyal follower? Yet here you are, learning water-based skills!”
“Come on, Icey, embrace your true self and respectfully call me Lady Aqua!”
Shaking off Aqua’s annoying visage, Icey made a firm decision. Cliff Sword it was!
Buzz!
Upon choosing, the selection screen dissolved into countless light particles, merging into Icey’s body. As a powerful surge of energy spread from his heart to his limbs, he felt every cell in his body cheer in unison.
He could distinctly feel his body becoming lighter, his movements more agile. His overall physical attributes improved, including his defense and speed, elevating his combat capabilities to a new level.
(Rough Estimate: Not considering Haki or abilities, his defense and speed surpassed pre-time skip Zoro, though his strength and stamina were slightly lower. Overall, he was slightly stronger.)
Closing his eyes, Icey noticed an additional mysterious energy circulating within him.
Whoosh!
Opening his eyes, he became a blur, swiftly moving to the second deck of the Infinite Dream.
Under the serene moonlight, he looked out to the distant sea—a vast, pitch-black expanse. The sound of waves against the shore created an oppressive atmosphere that he had long since grown accustomed to during his sea voyages.
Reaching out toward the ocean, he channeled the newfound energy into his hand and clenched his fist.
“Cliff Sword!”
Boom!
A red light burst forth from the dark, calm sea. A pillar of magma, like a blade, erupted from the water, rising to its limit before exploding, illuminating the ocean.
“What’s happening?!”
As Aqua, King, and Meowth stepped onto the deck, the explosion’s fiery glow reflected on their faces, capturing their shocked expressions.
The aftermath swept over them, causing waves to crash back into the sea with a splash, creating a minor commotion.
“Aqua, don’t worry. I just felt like fishing with explosives.”
Icey retracted his fist, smiling at the now-calm sea. Despite consuming considerable energy, the power of Cliff Swordexceeded his expectations in sheer destructiveness.
Facing Creek’s pirate fleet again, he wouldn’t need to resort to tricks—just one Cliff Sword would decimate them.
“Explosive fishing? Does that mean we can catch lots of fish now?”
Hearing about the effortless bounty, Aqua grew enthusiastic, stretching as if preparing for a workout.
“Are you an idiot? I was just saying it. Who else but you can see clearly in the dark?”
Icey facepalmed, exasperated. Serious showmanship was lost on this foolish goddess.
“It’s not idiocy—it’s the Eye of the Goddess! Don’t belittle the eyes of the Water Goddess just because you’re ordinary beings!”
Aqua proudly pointed to her blue eyes, correcting him indignantly.
“Well, I can see in the dark too, meow.”
Perched on the railing, Meowth’s eyes turned round and cute, a natural ability of his feline physiology to see in low light.
Icey: “…”
Aqua: “…”
One statement from Meowth left them both speechless.
“Icey, like you, I can’t see well at night,” King said from the back.
Thank goodness for you, ordinary King! Icey felt deeply moved. Who said King was useless? Here he was, proving his worth.
“What? Something so simple and you can’t do it, King?” Aqua looked genuinely shocked. To her, King was the closest to “divine” on this ship!
“That man still scares me…”
Meowth, fur standing on end, kept a wary eye on King.
