“Vir, don’t kill Spandam. I’m close to taking control. If he dies now, everything will fall apart. As for the Warlord position, no problem. I’ll request it from the Five Elders. With my current status, it shouldn’t be an issue.” Ferdinand seemed genuinely interested in Vir’s desire to become a Warlord, even planning to request it directly from the Five Elders.
“Alright, I’ll wait for your people. By the way, who’s your brother? I haven’t heard of him before.”
“Haha, you definitely know him. Coincidentally, he’s the current Warlord, Doflamingo.” Ferdinand revealed that Doflamingo would be the one handling the Seastone.
“Hehehe, I didn’t expect that. But it makes sense given your similar experiences. I’ll wait for him. Tell him to hurry.” Vir, the drunkard, opened another bottle of wine and started drinking.
“No problem. He just picked up a large shipment of arms from me and is returning to the New World. Due to the sheer quantity, he’s coming personally.
He’s not far from your location. I’ll contact him. He should arrive in a few days, so you won’t have to wait long.” Ferdinand brought more good news, knowing the longer they stayed on the island, the more variables would arise.
“Alright, I’ll wait for him. Goodbye.” After Ferdinand acknowledged, Vir hung up the Den Den Mushi.
Standing up, Vir looked at the ships surrounding the island, pondering how to deal with them. Should he just set them on fire?
While considering what to do with the ships, he noticed an unmarked ship sailing in.
“Could there be another force coming to seize the Seastone? Never mind, I’ll wait on the island. Fighting at sea doesn’t feel right. Maybe there’s a strong opponent.” Vir jumped off the ship and headed to the island.
Tuskie followed, ready for some entertainment.
Back at the battlefield, Vir saw that Eileen and Charlotte Lonnie’s body were gone. Instead, a message written in blood remained on the ground.
“Vir, I will avenge her. Just wait. I will personally take your head someday. —Lonnie Eileen.”
Seeing this, Vir found the situation even more interesting. That soft girl was likely dead on this island. What would the reborn Lonnie Eileen be like? He eagerly awaited her growth.
He stopped thinking about Lonnie Eileen, quietly waiting for the new enemies to arrive.
The wait wasn’t long. Soon, a group arrived on the island, led by someone very familiar to Vir.
A girl wearing a red hat with exaggerated goggles, long golden hair, a pink top, a red miniskirt, black stockings with small leather boots, and a slim figure emphasizing her ample chest.
It was Koala from the Revolutionary Army, the cute girl usually seen with Sabo. She was here to seize the Seastone that the World Government had harvested. Resources like Seastone were invaluable to the Revolutionary Army.
Upon landing, Koala noticed the eerie atmosphere. The dock was full of ships, yet the island was eerily silent as if it had become a monster waiting to devour travellers.
As they advanced, Koala soon discovered why the island was so quiet—scattered, mutilated corpses covered the ground. Marines, pirates, and others were unidentifiable due to the severe mutilation. The sight made Koala feel nauseous, despite her battle experience. She had never seen such carnage before.
The island’s only living person was a young man sitting on a large stone, drinking. He had dual swords at his waist, and judging by the clean cuts on the corpses, he was likely the culprit.
This man was dangerous, and required caution.
As Koala and her group approached, Vir didn’t immediately drive them away. He waited until they were close enough to speak.
“The Seastone on this island is already claimed. Leave now if you don’t want to die.” Vir resumed drinking, uninterested in arguing with the Revolutionary Army, nor did he intend to kill them.
Those who dared to stand against oppression were brave. Who knew, maybe they’d succeed one day. After all, their leader was a D.
“Sir, I’m Koala from the Revolutionary Army. We’re here to acquire some Seastone to combat the World Government. We’re willing to trade for it.” Koala, after some thought, spoke cautiously.
Vir found the idea of a trade intriguing. The Revolutionary Army was different, and more reasonable than the World Government.
“Trade? What do you have to offer? Seastone is the best weapon against Devil Fruit users. Do you have any Devil Fruits to trade?”
Koala thought for a moment.
“Sorry, we can’t meet the Devil Fruit request. Can we propose something else? Please?” Koala, noticing Vir was open to negotiation, pleaded sweetly.
“Hehehe, sure. I’ve heard about your Revolutionary Army’s Ivankov, the one with the Horm-Horm Fruit. It can turn men into women, right?
Do you have any stored female hormones? They could be very effective in interrogations, especially against tough guys. If you have some, I might consider a trade.
Also, see those ships? I’ll throw them in with the Seastone.” Vir had a particularly twisted idea in mind, requiring Ivankov’s female hormones.
Koala’s eye twitched. What was this man thinking? She quickly responded.
“Ivankov’s female hormones aren’t with me, but we have some at our temporary headquarters. I can send a News Coo to retrieve them. We’ll take the ships as a deposit and return for the Seastone once the hormones arrive. How does that sound, Vir?” For the Revolutionary Army, Ivankov’s hormones were valuable, useful as a low-side-effect stimulant and for healing certain injuries. The female hormones, as Vir said, were also effective in breaking tough men.
“No problem. Take the ships, but you’ll stay as collateral until the hormones arrive. At least five doses.” Vir gestured to the Revolutionary Army, indicating the ships were theirs.
Koala was speechless. How did she end up as a hostage?
