Nine hours passed in a rush.
Jon arrived in Tokyo.
Just as he got off the plane, he saw an unexpected person.
“Surprise!”
The energetic Joseph opened his arms wide.
Jon: (_?)
Aren’t you supposed to be flirting with college girls in the countryside? Why were you here?!
“Steve (acting head of SPW Foundation) called me, saying that you rushed over because you were worried about me,” Joseph was grateful deep down. “I guess you at least have a bit of a conscience, kid.”
At these words, Jon fell silent for seven or eight seconds, then solemnly said, “The holder of the ‘Arrow’ is very dangerous. You can’t handle it alone.”
At this point, saying that he flew across the ocean to prevent his old man from making mistakes were too awkward to say.
“Haha, let’s not talk about that for now. Come, let’s go to your sister’s place. After such a long flight, you must be tired,” Joseph said, hooking his youngest son’s shoulder as he spoke.
Jon forced a smile.
Father and son (×)
Good brothers (√)
That night.
Chiba Prefecture, Kujo Manor.
“Cheers~” Holy raised her juice-filled glass with a smile.
“Cheers!”
Joseph enthusiastically responded.
Both his precious daughter and precious son were present, and there was no menopausal madwoman nagging in his ear.
The old man was simply overjoyed.
“Good Grief.”
Jotaro lowered his hat, looking helpless.
Across the table, polite Kakyoin raised his glass and said, “Mr. Joseph, Holy-san, thank you for inviting me.”
“Kakyoin, what are you saying? We’re comrades in arms!” Joseph pretended to be displeased.
Jon chimed in, “Yeah, yeah, we’re all in this together, no need to be so formal.”
“Kakyoin,” Jotaro rarely joined the conversation, “just think of this place as your own home.”
“Alright.”
Kakyoin nodded with a smile.
After a sumptuous dinner, Joseph chose to go out for a walk.
Jon wanted to help his older sister clean up the dishes, but he was mercilessly kicked out of the dining room.
“Don’t bother me, go chat with Jotaro and the others,” the blonde lady said.
Entering Jotaro’s room.
The stern-faced Joestar was playing the popular game ‘Super Mario’ with Kakyoin.
“Jotaro, you’re playing video games again, take a break.”
Jon was stunned.
“How about reading a book?”
Jotaro didn’t even look up, “Stop nagging.”
Although the person in front of him was his uncle, they had always interacted like peers due to their close age difference.
Jon frowned.
“I say a few words to you, and you call me nagging? As your elder, I just hope you study hard. I see you playing video games all day here. Aren’t you preparing for the college entrance exam soon?”
As soon as he finished speaking, the red plumber on TV was killed by a falling turtle shell.
Jotaro adjusted his hat, “Good grief.”
“On that note, both Jotaro and I are very well-prepared,” Kakyoin waved the controller, “Appropriate entertainment helps our study.”
After a pause, he asked, “Jon, do you want to join us?”
Jon smirked mysteriously, “Playing Super Mario? I’ll show you something better.”
“Something better, is it a new game?” Kakyoin asked curiously.
“Something like that.”
Jon scratched his eyebrow and took out a Nintendo Switch from his “Personal Space.”
Kakyoin and Jotaro’s eyes lit up.
The gaming technology of the next generation was a complete knockout in the present.
The two quickly immersed themselves.
Jon watched them play Zelda with a smile, casually saying, “I’ve gotten a lot stronger recently, you know.”
Hearing this, Jotaro’s ears twitched.
Suddenly, a purple figure jumped out from his body.
Ora!
The punch from ‘Star Platinum’ was powerful, but Jon caught it effortlessly.
“Long time no see.”
Jon smiled slightly, remembering the days of sparring with Star Platinum during the ‘Egyptian Adventure.’
Star Platinum nodded albeit slightly.
Jotaro de-summoned Star Platinum and said casually, “Indeed, you’ve gotten stronger.”
Jon shrugged.
“You’re playing games while your Stand tests your uncle’s strength? Pathetic!” Jon remarked.
Jotaro: ???
“Alright, alright, what are you guys doing?” Kakyoin, the wise and motherly figure, intervened with a wry smile, “This isn’t a place for fooling around.”
“Good grief.”
Jotaro, cold on the outside but warm on the inside, of course, wouldn’t get angry over a joke.
Jon chuckled, saying, “If you don’t work hard, I’ll leave you far behind.”
“It doesn’t matter, I no longer have a reason to fight,” Jotaro shook his head.
Unlike Jon, he possessed unparalleled combat power but lacked the desire to become stronger himself.
Jon fell silent.
Great nephew, if you can stay on top of your game all the time, you won’t utter the famous line, “Five seconds is too short” anymore.
“Anyway, since you and old man Joseph are coming to Japan, there must be something,” Jotaro said, putting down the game console and looking Jon in the eye.
“Because of the ‘Arrow’?” he asked.
“As expected, you saw through everything,” Jon replied truthfully. “According to the information provided by the SPW Foundation, traces of the ‘Arrow’ have been sighted in Morioh.”
“Morioh.”
Jotaro adjusted his hat as he repeated the name of the place.
“It seems I can’t remain idle either.”
“You and Kakyoin should focus on your studies. The old man and I can handle it,” Jon refused without hesitation.
“Jon!” Before Jotaro could speak, Kakyoin spoke up, “Why are you being so reserved? We’ve been comrades in life and death!”
Mainly because… we really don’t need you.
Jon rubbed his temples with a headache.
“Don’t worry about the entrance exams. JOJO and I are fully prepared. While I can’t say for sure about other universities, there’s a ninety percent chance for Todai (Tokyo University),” Kakyoin said with a slight smile.
Ninety percent chance of getting into Todai? Are they the top students in the world?!
Wait a minute, I already have a university degree, don’t I? Then it’s fine.
“In any case, I won’t stand idly by,” Jotaro said lightly. “Even if you and old man Joseph don’t take me, I’ll go there myself.”
“Same goes for me!” Kakyoin chimed in.
“In that case…”
Jon looked at the two and suddenly smiled, “Then I’ll leave it to you.”
[Ding, Jotaro and Kakyoin have joined the team!]
With ‘Hermit Purple’ for reconnaissance, ‘Hierophant Green’ for control, ‘Star Platinum’ for time stop, plus his own frontal assault.
Jon mourned inwardly.
Poor Keicho Nijimura and Yoshikage Kira.
They had no idea what kind of opponents they were about to face.
