The new main quest required defending the headquarters, which seemed different from the rumoured world mission. But Fang Bo wasn’t worried; he just called on everyone to join the main forces and head to the headquarters.
The plot had been greatly altered, and space would naturally adjust accordingly. The Infinity Castle battle was inevitable, and no one could prevent it now.
“The headquarters is under attack!”

In reality, the Butterfly Estate was very close to the headquarters. They were usually led around in circles with blindfolds. If they went full speed, they could reach it in about ten minutes.

The nine Hashira rushed into the ruins, even the slower Butterfly Hashira was about to reach the headquarters, while Fang Bo’s group was still lagging.
“We’re not too late, right?” Ari asked worriedly.
Spotting the main characters in the distance, Fang Bo shook his head. Sometimes arriving just on time was better than arriving early, especially avoiding Muzan’s immediate threat.
At this point, none of the Hashira had unlocked the powerful trio of abilities—Marks, Crimson Red Nichirin Swords, or the Transparent World. Without these, they couldn’t confront Muzan directly. The fight would only truly start once Yushiro’s poison took effect.
After about half a minute, the weaker members finally reached the headquarters. Just as they stepped onto the shattered ruins, they heard the unique prompt from the space.

This was how the plot should have gone. But when Fang Bo arrived, he was stunned. The weakened Muzan, reverting to human form, held a Blue Spider Lily in his hand.
“Idiots,” Fang Bo muttered, scanning the collapsed ruins.
They were supposed to lure Muzan, and then destroy the lily. How did they let him get his hands on it? If Muzan studied it successfully, even sunlight wouldn’t kill him, spelling total disaster.
“I’ve finally found it,” Muzan said, ignoring the threats around him, lost in rare joy.
Nearby, Yushiro remained calm, ready for death. Poisoning the Demon King had trapped her near him.
The Sound Hashira was the first to arrive, decapitating Muzan with his dual blades. However, Muzan had surpassed limits, making decapitation ineffective. Only sunlight might kill him—if he didn’t consume the lily first.
Noticing Yushiro’s gaze, Muzan suddenly looked up, a sinister smile aimed at the Demon Slayers.
“Did you think you could corner me?”
“Nakime, send everyone here into the Infinity Castle. Today is the day the Demon Slayer Corps is destroyed!”
Nakime’s power allowed her to teleport predefined locations into the Infinity Castle. Without this backup, the cautious Muzan wouldn’t dare enter the headquarters alone.
The Twelve Kizuki and countless demons awaited in the castle. Muzan only needed to delay until he could neutralize the poison, then he could easily eliminate his foes.
With Muzan’s shout, the sound of koto strings filled the air, and the entire Demon Slayer Corps was teleported into the mysterious castle.
This castle was like a vast maze, with countless traditional Japanese buildings arranged in disorienting ways. Just looking at it made one dizzy.
As Fang Bo regained his sight, he found himself in a large courtyard, surrounded by red and yellow flowers emitting a fresh fragrance. Nearby were numerous rooms and pavilions, with unseen dangers lurking in the dim light.

Taking out his Yoriichi Type Zero puppet, he summoned his shikigami. When the Spider Lady appeared in the Infinity Castle, she grew restless, sensing numerous sweet scents.

With his puppet and Shikigami guarding him, Fang Bo felt much safer. Activating his aura sensing, he quickly detected hidden threats.
He counted at least ten enemy auras—Muzan’s elite demons, not as strong as the Twelve Kizuki but formidable enough to trouble the Demon Slayer Corps.
Drawing his Dragoon, Fang Bo fired into the darkness, blowing off an unlucky demon’s arm.
Turning to his shikigami, he issued a somewhat unusual order.
“Cut off their limbs, but try not to kill them.”
