The response to Tang An was two powerful kicks. At the critical moment, Tang An’s chest hardened, and he was sent flying, crashing through a large area of ruins, leaving a deep trench behind.

Mitsuri gripped her sword tightly, her eyes misting with tears. She drew her Nichirin blade and stood beside Shinobu and Tengen, staring at Tang An.

Brushing off the debris, Tang An stood up, looking at the three of them, a trickle of blood dripping from his mouth.
“Whoosh…”
There was no longer any need for words. Tengen and Shinobu charged at Tang An, with Mitsuri following slightly behind, her whip-like Nichirin blade at the ready.
“Sound Breathing: First Form – Roar.”
Tengen reached Tang An first, wielding his dual Nichirin blades, which were connected by chains and equipped with special explosives. When he swung the blades, they created friction that set off explosions.
Tengen’s slash caused an explosion of dirt, but Tang An had already flashed into the air, avoiding it. Before he could react, Shinobu leaped at him.
A swarm of butterflies fluttered ominously around her, signaling danger.
“Insect Breathing: Dragonfly Dance – Compound Eye Hexagon.”
Her small, poison-laced Nichirin blade, resembling a sword with a barbed tip, stabbed six times with such speed that even the air seemed to cry out.
Tang An deflected the strikes with his blade, flipping over Shinobu and kicking down without mercy.
“Love Breathing: First Form – Shivers of First Love.”
At that moment, Mitsuri attacked, her whip-like blade aiming for Tang An’s throat, perfectly timed to save Shinobu.
Sparks flew as Tang An blocked Mitsuri’s attack with his right hand, his foot slamming into Shinobu’s back, sending her flying and coughing up blood.
As Shinobu lay within, the ground cracked and formed a large crater, spitting blood.
Tengen seized the opportunity, leaping high and appearing behind Tang An. His Nichirin blades were aimed at his heart, ready to strike.
Tang An didn’t dodge, allowing Tengen’s blades to pierce his chest. Blood spurted, but instead of rejoicing, Tengen felt a chilling fear.
Tang An’s feet sank to the ground as he flipped his blades and stabbed Tengen in the back, pinning him to the ground. Blood flowed freely as his heart and lungs were shredded.
Tang An had chosen a death-blow strategy.
“Boom…”
A giant golden lightning bolt descended, causing the entire Flower Street to quake. Amid the rolling storm, a roar echoed, and high-temperature steam radiated outward.
A 15-meter-tall armored giant with short white hair and a strong, muscular build emerged, reaching out for the barely alive Tengen.
It was a shocking sight.
Shinobu and Mitsuri, in disbelief, immediately attacked, hoping to save Tengen.
Despite their assault, Tang An’s left hand continued to grab Tengen while his right hand hardened and smashed into the ground. Instantly, the area within a 20-meter radius hardened and formed spikes shooting upwards.
Shinobu and Mitsuru barely managed to retreat, blood dripping from wounds on their abdomens, nearly revealing their internal organs.
This brief distraction allowed Tang An to grab Tengen, squeezing him into a pulp of blood and flesh, killing him instantly.
“Tengen…”
Shinobu’s eyes widened, filled with disbelief and rage as she saw Tengen’s remains.
Mitsuri’s eyes filled with tears, gripping her Nichirin blade tightly, her face a mask of pain.
Tang An, now standing on the back of the armored giant, jumped down. His face, covered in blood, showed the marks of the fight.
Though he possessed the regenerative abilities of a giant, fatal injuries required him to transform before losing consciousness to recover.
Otherwise, it would be a dead end.
Additionally, Tang An had not abandoned his giant form; it was his trump card.
Imagine if he could use Thunder Breathing, Moon Step, Shave, or Great Heavenly Dragon techniques while in giant form—that would be immensely powerful.
However, it consumed a great deal of energy.

Tang An picked up his Nichirin blade and dog-leg knife again, and as he gazed at Shinobu and Mitsuri, they disappeared into the night.
