Yasuo in Marvel Chapter 16

Feeling a Bit Showy

As the prostitute left, Yasuo roughly grabbed the white cop and said, “Now that the unnecessary people are gone, let’s get to the point. You’re a Haku Clan member? That means you must know some vampires!”

In reality, the white cop didn’t know any vampires. He had only heard about their powers—eternal life, superhuman strength, and regenerative abilities—from gossip at the station. Scared of the mutant, he had blurted out about vampires to try and intimidate Yasuo.

Seeing that the Haku Clan member was quite stubborn, Yasuo grabbed his left wrist and squeezed hard, effectively disabling his hand.

The intense pain nearly caused the white cop to pass out. Even if he survived this ordeal, his left hand was ruined, making future misdeeds unlikely.

When the white cop still refused to speak, Yasuo grabbed his right wrist.

Terrified, the white cop screamed, “No, please don’t! I don’t know any vampires, but I can tell you who does. Please, don’t do this!”

A foul stench filled the air as the cop wet himself in fear, and he even started to cry.

Disgusted, Yasuo looked at him with contempt. “Hurry up and tell me, who knows the vampires?”

“The chief, the New York police chief. The whole department is talking about how the chief has connections with high-ranking vampires. Everything we know about vampires comes from him. The chief has also put out an alert looking for you,” the white cop, desperate to save his remaining hand, spilled everything he knew. If only one hand was ruined, he could still manage; if both were ruined, his future would be unimaginable.

Yasuo discovered another issue. The Haku Clan police chief had issued a notice looking for him. It seemed yesterday’s actions had indeed caught their attention.

“Looking for me? Did he say why?” Yasuo wanted to understand the whole situation.

“I don’t know, I really don’t. The notice went out this morning. They’re looking for a red-clad, eccentric guy. That’s all I know, I swear. Please, believe me,” the white cop, fully broken, answered everything Yasuo asked.

“What? A red-clad eccentric? Is that supposed to be me? Damn, why did I get such a nickname?” Yasuo was less worried about being hunted and more concerned about the nickname. He didn’t want to be known as the “Red-Clad Eccentric.”

If that became his nickname, he’d rather die!

After getting the police chief’s address, Yasuo decided to pay him a visit that night to inquire about the vampires.

He finally let the white cop go and left the alley alone.

As Yasuo walked away, the white cop pulled out his phone with his remaining hand. The earlier look of fear was gone, replaced by a sinister expression as he dialed a number.

“Hello, Chief? I found the red-clad eccentric. Yes, I wasn’t his match; he crippled my hand. I’m fine. I told him your fourth property location. He’s on his way!” The New York police chief, after receiving the call, urgently contacted Deacon Frost, informing him of the mutant’s whereabouts.

Deacon Frost commended the cop for his work and assured him that the mutant would not survive the night.

Yasuo rushed across rooftops, using his fastest speed to reach Brooklyn. His eagerness to find vampires clouded his usual calm, driven by the enticing prospects of the system shop.

Arriving at the location the cop had given him, Yasuo sensed something off.

Two suspicious men came into view, both wearing large black leather coats despite the night. They were tall and reached into their coats as Yasuo approached.

Yasuo instantly knew what they were up to. With a swift move, he cast Wind Wall.

As the wall appeared, the men’s submachine guns roared to life.

The Wind Wall blocked the bullets, and Yasuo, running horizontally along the wall, leaped through the air, landing right in front of the men. His sword flashed out.

Basic attack, followed by Q (Steel Tempest).

“Ha sa gi!”

E (Sweeping Blade), another basic attack, followed by Q (Steel Tempest).

A perfect combo, dazzling the men. Thinking he had dealt with them, Yasuo turned his attention elsewhere, but an unexpected change occurred!

The men, despite being severely wounded, leaped up, claws extending, fangs bared, lunging at Yasuo.

Caught off guard, Yasuo barely evaded the attack with a quick Flash.

A split-second teleportation saved him from their assault.

As Yasuo dodged, four more vampires leaped from the street, firing at his current position.

Sensing the danger, Yasuo’s passive shield took the brunt of the bullets, but it was about to be depleted!

“Face the wind!” With the Wind Wall cooled down, Yasuo cast it again to block the bullets.

However, some bullets still hit him, lodging in his flesh, though thankfully not hitting any vital organs.

Realizing he was ambushed, Yasuo felt a surge of excitement rather than fear.

Every Joyful Wind Man dreams of a 1v5 scenario, showing off their skills.

This was his moment. Yasuo’s mind cleared, and he saw two vampires charging from either side, their fangs and claws bared. In front, four armed vampires dropped their guns, preparing to pounce.

In the narrow alley, Yasuo couldn’t fully utilize his speed. As the vampires’ claws crossed towards him, Yasuo’s sword flashed.

“Swish!”

Two arms, along with their clothes, flew through the air. Yasuo focused on one direction, aiming to take down one opponent first. After severing the arms, he activated Q (Steel Tempest), shattering the vampire’s head.

Feeling a hand pierce his waist, Yasuo endured the pain and used Ignite, setting the vampire attacking him ablaze. In three seconds, it turned to ash.

Using both summoner spells, Yasuo had taken down two enemies. Seeing their comrades fall so quickly, the remaining four vampires charged at Yasuo together, hoping to overpower him.

“Sorry, but I’m about to enjoy the real hunt.” Yasuo activated E (Sweeping Blade) repeatedly, appearing behind the vampires before they could react.

Seeing them turn around, Yasuo unleashed a charged tornado, sending them and part of the wall flying. This was the moment every Yasuo dreams of—‘Last Breath’ activated, cutting down all four.

“Gold +90.”

“Gold +90.”

………

Checking the system, Yasuo saw six consecutive gold increases.

“Damn!” Yasuo thought his moves were impressive, but the system treated him like a max-level Yasuo taking down six cannon minions. Unbelievable!
