Inside Deacon Frost’s special building, a few vampires dragged Blade out of a special holding cell and brought him to a platform carved with twelve large statues, tossing him onto the platform.
Quinn emerged from a side door, wearing Blade’s signature sunglasses, and said with a grin, “Hey, welcome! And thanks for the sunglasses, hahahaha.”
Soon after, a large number of new-generation hybrid vampires appeared, forcefully pushing the twelve council elders of the pureblood vampires to stand next to Blade. Deacon Frost stood on a raised stone step, overlooking the entire hall.
Deacon Frost, with his back to all the vampires, spoke, “Our ancestors called this hall the Hall of Eternal Night. Great, isn’t it? Those foolish old folks have forgotten its existence. They forgot there was such a place. Fortunately, I love studying history and discovered its special significance.”
Having said that, Frost turned around, descended the stone steps, and slowly approached Blade and the twelve pureblood vampires. He continued, “Why are we here? The Hall of Eternal Night was built for this moment. Tonight, we will welcome the great Blood God’s arrival. We vampires will usher in a new dawn, and the entire world will belong to us!”
Frost’s impassioned speech about the impending glory made countless hybrid vampires cheer wildly. Quinn approached Blade and punched him, forcing Blade to his knees, making the hybrids shout even louder.
Deacon Frost glanced at Quinn and then said to the kneeling Blade, “Let me see your sword.”
A white-haired female elite vampire emerged from the crowd, throwing Blade’s sword high to Frost.
Frost examined the sword, turning it over in his hands, “Titanium alloy, intricately carved. This is a fine piece. I imagine many vampires have fallen to this blade.”
Blade, weakened by a special drug, could only lift his head weakly to look at Frost.
“I told you, Blade, I know you very well!” Frost said while playing with Blade’s sword.
“Quinn, give me your hand!” Frost suddenly said, his face changing as he looked at Quinn.
Confused, Quinn replied, “Deacon, my hand is fine.”
Impatient, Frost walked up to Quinn, holding the sword, “Quick!”
Quinn, seeing no way out, reluctantly extended his arm, “Deacon, I…”
“Alright, just kidding. You are indeed my most loyal subordinate,” Frost said.
“Ugh, you scared me. If this is just a joke,” Quinn replied, relief washing over his face.
“As my most loyal subordinate, now you have a chance for revenge,” Frost said.
Several vampires pushed out a special stone coffin, which had a human-shaped recess inside.
Two vampires lifted Blade and tied him to the stone coffin, fitting perfectly into the recess. Quinn, with a malicious grin, approached Blade, pulling out a dagger and lightly slicing Blade’s shirt, revealing his muscular body to everyone.
“This is for the hand you cost me,” Quinn said, his face turning vicious as he plunged the dagger into Blade’s wrists, crippling his hands.
The stone coffin, now sealed, was pushed to a specific spot at the back. Blood channels filled with Blade’s blood began forming special characters in the blood’s wake.
Seeing the blood characters appear, Frost laughed maniacally, “Let the celebration begin.”
Countless hybrid vampires started cheering. At the lowest level, many women and humans were released. The sight of live humans drove the hybrids into a frenzy as they rushed downwards, the allure of fresh blood too tempting to resist.
At the center, a circular platform appeared. Frost walked to the center, surveying everything around him, resembling a king at that moment.
In New York, the previously clear sky turned cloudy, with dense clouds not only covering the sky but also enveloping the entire city.
Many New York residents noticed the change in the sky, looking up in surprise.
At S.H.I.E.L.D., Nick Fury stood by the window, observing the sky’s transformation, holding a special ancient communicator, several times nearly pressing it but restraining himself each time.
“Bring them and stand in order!” The white-haired female elite vampire commanded, directing the hybrids to bring the twelve pureblood elders to designated spots.
“Make sure they stand correctly,” the female vampire instructed.
A pureblood vampire, unwilling to give up easily, spoke to her, “Do you really believe the Blood God will descend? It’s just a vampire myth, like human stories. Don’t you know how many vampires will die if we start a war with humans? Humans are not what they were thousands of years ago.”
“Why are you so afraid, pureblood? Afraid your soul will be devoured by the Blood God? Pureblood vampires’ essence, you should be scared if you’ve read the myths. Now is the time for you to contribute everything!” the female vampire, fully supporting Frost, retorted loudly.
“You foolish hybrids, you’re doomed, just like us now, but your end will be more brutal. The vampire era is over, you war-inexperienced fools,” another pureblood shouted, cursing the hybrids before his death.
Among the crowd below, hematologist Karen, with her special serum, led several others, including Hathaway. All of them, who were in the same cell, followed Karen’s plan.
The women stuck together, finding an entrance to sneak in. Along the way, they encountered a vampire. To Karen’s shock, it was her former lover, Dr. Curtis, who was bitten alongside her.
Recognizing Karen, Curtis shouted her name and rushed towards her, his mouth wide open. Fortunately, Hathaway reacted quickly, pulling Karen back and injecting Curtis with a special serum. Curtis screamed in agony, white smoke rising from his body, before collapsing.
Relying on Karen’s serum, they continued advancing, facing numerous vampires. Several people died in the encounters, leaving only Karen and Hathaway to reach the top.
