Yasuo in Marvel Chapter 29

Yasuo Takes the Stage

Yasuo was still unaware that Blade’s situation had escalated. He was leisurely waiting for reinforcements with Coulson.

Not far from their location, three black Ford vehicles were headed their way, carrying nine members of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s Quick Reaction Force. They had received a special mission to retrieve a batch of unique items and bring them back to S.H.I.E.L.D. for secure storage.

In the lead vehicle, one of the agents remarked, “Hey, the sky looks weird today. I’ve never seen clouds this thick, completely blocking out the sky.”

In the passenger seat, a man wearing a metal mask with a large “X” painted on his chest armor—Crossbones, a well-known figure within S.H.I.E.L.D.—turned to the agent and said, “Stay alert and cut the chatter!”

A short while later, Crossbones led the team to clear out the nightclub patrons. Some people, thinking they were tough, tried to speak up, but Crossbones shattered the entire stage with a single punch, silencing everyone and sending them fleeing from the club.

In the underground chamber, Crossbones completed the handover with Coulson and directed his team to begin transporting the pages of the Book of the Dead.

When Crossbones first arrived, Yasuo prepared for combat. He recognized Crossbones instantly—the Hydra operative within S.H.I.E.L.D. known for his strength, who had taken on both Agent 13 (Sharon Carter) and Falcon in “Captain America: The Winter Soldier.”

Crossbones exchanged a glance with Yasuo but chose to ignore him. To Crossbones, a red-clad weirdo standing with Coulson was strange but not his concern.

Seeing that Crossbones dismissed him, Yasuo relaxed. S.H.I.E.L.D. wasn’t his family, and he didn’t care how many Hydra agents infiltrated it. As long as they didn’t provoke him, he was content to watch the chaos unfold. After all, his focus was on leveling up and collecting coins.

With the handover complete, Coulson and Yasuo headed towards Deacon Frost’s stronghold. Yasuo was eager, imagining the multitude of vampires awaiting him. He intended to cut through them all, ensuring not a single vampire—and therefore not a single coin—escaped his blade.

Meanwhile, the ritual to revive the Blood God was underway. Using Blade’s Daywalker blood, mysterious symbols were illuminated with lightning. The electricity linked the symbols to the foreheads of the twelve pureblood vampires. Blood began to flow from their foreheads, pooling into specific symbols at their feet. As their flesh dissolved, skeletal beings with wings emerged, letting out eerie wails before flying into Deacon Frost’s body.

The twelve skeletal beings entered and exited Frost’s body, causing him immense pain. He could feel power surging within him as golden blood began to gather above his head—a fusion of Daywalker blood and the essence of twelve pureblood vampires.

Karen and Hathaway, contacting Whistler outside for support, stumbled upon the stone coffin containing Blade. Freeing him, they found him weak and thirsty for blood, unable to speak due to the drugs and blood loss. Seeing this, Karen offered her neck to Blade, enduring the pain as he drank her blood to regain his strength.

In the New York suburbs, Yasuo and Coulson arrived at Frost’s lair. Yasuo, striking a pose, declared, “The protagonist has arrived. Time to end this farce.”

Coulson shook his head at the sight of Frost’s specially constructed building, signaling his helplessness. Yasuo approached the door, shot Coulson a confident smile, and vanished in a blink.

Using his Flash skill, Yasuo bypassed the door and entered the building.

Inside, the scent of blood was overwhelming. The building resembled a hellish landscape, with bodies of women and children drained of blood strewn everywhere. Vampires were still feeding, while some barely alive humans wept in despair.

For the first time in his 36 years, Yasuo felt such intense anger. Under the crimson moon, Yasuo became a red blur, each flash of his E-skill (Sweeping Blade) leaving a vampire dead.

Focusing solely on killing, Yasuo’s mind was consumed with rage, determined to slaughter every vampire.

As the vampires turned to ash, those who noticed Yasuo’s presence attacked him, driven wild by human blood.

Yasuo’s speed increased beyond visibility, his desire to kill pushing him to move faster.

Above, a drop of golden blood fell onto Deacon Frost’s head, merging with his body. The twelve skeletal beings vanished into him, transforming his eyes from red to gold. Frost felt like a god.

Blade, having fed on Karen’s blood, confronted Frost. The destined showdown began.

“Why didn’t you just run? Do you think you can stop me?” Frost taunted Blade.

Blade, eyes wide, roared like a beast and attacked Frost.

Below, hundreds of hybrid vampires were slain by Yasuo in minutes. Quinn confronted Yasuo.

Gaining some clarity after the massacre, Yasuo recognized Quinn—a notorious villain who had survived multiple encounters with Blade.

But facing Yasuo, Quinn had no chance. Yasuo’s E-skill (Sweeping Blade) cut through him effortlessly as Yasuo moved on.

Quinn, momentarily stunned, saw Yasuo ignore him and shouted, “Coward, running away!”

“You are already dead. Enjoy your last breath,” Yasuo’s voice echoed from the passage.

Quinn burst into flames, a unique fire consuming him from within. In seconds, he was reduced to ash.

“Summoner spell ‘Ignite’ activated.”
