Dio and Scott talked about what happened yesterday to the rest of the Avengers, which immediately left a frown on their face.
They learned that they were no longer wanted criminals, but they didn’t expect to be still targeted inside the country!
They now have learned that although the countries have said that they would try to compromise, they were still threatened by the Dark Battleship, and therefore, they would be willing to do anything to conquer it!
This meant that the Avengers would be in constant monitoring from the countries, and their normal lives would never return!
Fortunately, Wakanda’s rise of power might have caused some distraction for them. Otherwise, their situation might’ve been worse!
“I think what CIA did to Scott yesterday is to test the limit of our patient, but it might also their attempt to find a cause of disruption within our group as well,” Dio said casually.
Dio’s thought was on point as the CIA might just threaten Scott with his daughter’s welfare. Once the CIA figured out their weakness, they would try their best to exploit it! After all, the CIA always operated without preservation of normalcy.
“I agree. It is too dangerous for Scott’s daughter to stay with her mother right now. The CIA can use her as leverage to put a collar on Scott’s neck later if we let her stays there! And now, with all problems the countries’ leaders have caused, the public wouldn’t trust us, at least not as much as they used to!” Steve said solemnly.
“So, what do we do now? Should we bring the people we love to Wakanda?”
Everyone was silent as they didn’t want to make the decision, especially Scott, who began to felt guilty for bringing his daughter to all this trouble.
Scott would do anything for his daughter, but if his action caused stress building up for his daughter, he would be willing to put an end to all this comradeship.
“Unfortunately, I have another bad news! Due to the mess caused by the Socovia Accord, the SHIELD has become the scapegoat for the public’s backlash. Now, the SHIELD was on the verge of falling down to the ground. To put it simply, the International Security Council has deemed that the SHIELD had no more value and threw them out under the bus!” T’challa said solemnly.
His information has managed to surprise Steve and the others as they believed that Nick Fury would do everything he could to survive.
“But what happened to Natasha?” Dio asked curiously.
“The International Security Council didn’t rush it themselves. They only take over most of the SHIELD’s department, but not all! They wanted SHIELD to self-destruct as they stopped providing resources for the SHIELD! But after I heard about this news, I personally gave resources to the SHIELD so that they could survive. Natasha is potentially still in Nick Fury’s company! Oh, Stark is also doing his best to help SHIELD out of this problem.” T’challa said solemnly.
Hearing this news, the look on everyone’s faces became complicated. Only a few years have passed since the New York War, but some people have already forgotten the threat from the outside world and forgot who the hero that saved the day back then.
“I have another news for you, Scott,” T’challa said solemnly.
“Uhh, I hope this is the good one!” Scott said with a frown.
“I don’t know whether it was good or bad, but Dr. Hank Pym and Hope Van Dyne were spotted after you leave the vicinity of your ex-wife’s house. But their current whereabouts were unknown. I heard that many people were trying to find them right now.” T’challa said solemnly.
“Shit! I have to find them before anyone else!” Scott said worriedly.
Scott wasn’t keen on involving any of his loved ones in danger, and therefore, Scott, who has already considered Hank Pym as his own family and Hope that was his crush, didn’t want to hear that they are in danger.
In other words, Scott realized that he had to find them, even if he has to put himself in danger!
“Scott, calm down! Even T’challa couldn’t find them, and that is a good thing! Even if you go out there, where would you start searching?” Steve stopped Scott from making a rash decision.
“No, I can find them! Only I can!” Scott said angrily, but he finally realised that he didn’t have to be all emotional and took a deep breath to calm himself down.
“Then we will go with you! So, there would be nobody taking advantage of you!” Steve said confidently.
He saw the confidence in Scott’s eyes, and thus he believed that accompanying Scott was the right decision.
“No! in this case, Hank and Hope have to be careful! I know how to find them, but I didn’t know where they are. They will come to me as soon as I showed up in public. I didn’t think they would come if you guys are with me! I am sorry.” Scott said as he shook his head.
Steve frowned a little, but he didn’t show it as he knew that Scott’s word made sense. Dio also knew this fact from the beginning as he already knew that Hank Pym has a personality that made it hard for him hard to trust others.
